Arch and Garch process, their generalizations This is an important model in financial mathematics. They are hard non-linear time series. We proved limit theorems and useful statistical results for them. Wiener processes We dealt with their local time and some occupation time problems of random walks. We gave the probabilistic laws of the Hilbert transform and the Cauchy principle value of their local time. We described the most important properties of the Wiener excursion and Bahadur-Kiefer process. The local time of the Wiener process and occupation time of high dimensional random walk are closely related. In this field we improved the results of Erdos and Taylor. We also proved strong embedding results. Multiple random integrals We took the direct product of a normed empirical distribution with itself. We gave sharp bounds on the integral of a function of several variables with respect to it and on the distribution of the supremum of such integrals. We applied several different mathematical theories in the proofs. Our results make possible to generalize some useful statistical methods. They explain how the functionals of normed empirical distributions can be approximated by Gaussian ones, and where the bounds of such approximations are. Number theoretic functions satisfying probabilistic laws We proved refinements of the law of iterated logarithm and showed that the discrepancies of a series of numbers n_k\alpha satisfy probabilistic laws depending on the diophantine properties of the series n_k
Hydrological impacts of various land cover types in the context of climate change for Zala County
The water balance of Zala County was analyzed using remote-sensing based actual
evapotranspiration (ETA) and runoff (R) in the context of land cover types. The highest mean ETA
rates were determined for water bodies (658 mm/year) and wetlands (622 mm/year). Forests have
higher values than agricultural areas, and the lowest rates belong to artificial surfaces. Mean annual
runoff is the largest on artificial surfaces (89 mm/year). For climate change impact analysis a Budykomodel
was used in spatially distributed mode. The parameter of the Budyko model (α) was calculated
for pixels without surplus water. For the extra water affected pixels a linear model with β parameter
(actual evapotranspiration / pan evapotranspiration) was used. These parameters (α and β) can be used
for evaluating future ETA and R in spatially distributed mode. According to the predictions, the mean
annual evapotranspiration may increase about 27 mm while the runoff may decrease to one third of the
present amount by end of the century
A szöveges adathalmazok termĂ©szetes nyelvi feldolgozásának egyik Ăşj technikája a BERT, melynek huBERT nĂ©ven magyar változata is elĂ©rhetĹ‘. Az itt bemutatott kutatás cĂ©lja kettĹ‘s: egyrĂ©szt egy valĂłs ĂĽgyfĂ©lszolgálati problĂ©ma (nagy mennyisĂ©gű emailek automatikus kategorizálásának) mestersĂ©ges intelligencia alapĂş informatikai támogatása a hatĂ©konyabb feldolgozás Ă©rdekĂ©ben; másrĂ©szt a felhasznált BERT-alapĂş MI architektĂşrák szisztematikus vizsgálata tapasztalat szerzĂ©s cĂ©ljábĂłl. A Python nyelven megĂrt Ă©s huBERT modulokat is használĂł sziámi architektĂşrára Ă©pĂĽlĹ‘ 3 illetve 10 kategĂłriát felismerĹ‘, ĂĽgyfĂ©l emaileket feldolgozĂł megoldás paramĂ©tereinek változtatásával növelhetĹ‘ volt a pontosság Ă©s az alkalmazott legösszetettebb struktĂşrával a kezdeti alig 70%-os helyett közel 95%-os teljesĂtmĂ©ny volt elĂ©rhetĹ‘
NDVI-based Downscaling of the CREMAP Actual Evapotranspiration Maps
The increasingly used remote sensing-based evapotranspiration estimation techniques provide information about the spatial and temporal variability of evapotranspiration on the field and regional scales. For Hungary, the most reliable evapotranspiration mapping model is the CREMAP (Calibration-Free Evapotranspiration Mapping), which uses MODIS surface temperature data. The CREMAP evapotranspiration with its 1000Ă—1000 m (1 km2) resolution can be used for examinations with larger scales, for example the comparison of the water balance of forests with different land cover types (agricultural areas, artificial surfaces, etc.). However, the 1 km2 spatial resolution is too coarse to be used for smaller scales like precision forest management or agroforestry systems. Therefore, a vegetation index-based (MODIS NDVI) downscaling process of the CREMAP evapotranspiration was developed, to a resolution of 250Ă—250 m (6.25 hectares). The downscaling experiment was done for Hungary, for a drier (2003 May-October) and for a wetter (2005 May-October) period. The products were analyzed, according to forest stand types. The vegetation index-based evapotranspiration downscaling process can be used for getting hydrological data for forest resource management, climate change impact studies on smaller scales or agroforestry system research

Vizsgáltunk Wiener folyamatokat Ă©s fĂĽggetlen valĂłszĂnűsĂ©gi változĂłk összegĂ©t. EredmĂ©nyeket Ă©rtĂĽnk el a 3 Ă©s magasabb dimenziĂłs Wiener folyamat lokális idejĂ©nek a tanulmányozásában Ă©s áltálanosĂtottuk ErdĹ‘s Ă©s Taylor, PĂłlya, ErdĹ‘s Ă©s Darling eredmĂ©nyeit. Bebizonyitottunk nĂ©hány a pĂ©nzĂĽgyi matematika által motivált statisztikai eredmĂ©nyt. E problemák vizsgálata nĂ©hány Hilbert tĂ©r Ă©rtĂ©kű valĂłszĂnűsĂ©gi változĂłkrĂłl szĂłlĂł nem triviális feladat megoldását is követelte. NĂ©hány számelmĂ©lettel is kapcsolatos sztochasztikus problĂ©mát is vizsgáltunk, ahol az eredmĂ©ny bizonyos vĂ©letlen jelensĂ©geken kĂvĂĽl egy számsorozat diophantikus tulajdonságain is mĂşlott. Ily mĂłdon nĂ©hány Kac egy klasszikus problĂ©májához kapcsolĂłdĂł Ăşj eredmĂ©nyt is kaptunk. BebizonyĂtottunk nĂ©hány Ă©les becslĂ©st U-statisztikákrĂłl Ă©s fĂĽggetlen valĂłszĂnűsĂ©gi változĂłk más nem lineáris funkcionáljairĂłl. We studied the local time of 3 and higher dimensional Wiener process, and generalized some classical results of Erdos and Taylor, Polya, Erdos and Darling etc. We also studied some new type of statistical problems partly motivated by financial mathematics. These problems demanded the study of some non-trivial problems about random variables taking their values in a Hilbert space. We also studied some problems related to number theory, where the behaviour of some sequences depended both on some random phenomena and diophantic behaviour of some sequences. We got in such a way some new results about a classical problem of Mark Kac. We also got some new sharp estimates about U-statistics and other non-linear functionals of independent random variables. Such results may have interesting statistical applications. We also studied the theory of random permutations. We have proved a conjecture of P. McCullagh and obtained some interesting result on algebraic statistic motivated by a classical example of Diaconis. We also had some other investigations motivated by biostatistics. We developped the model of Kauffman about Boole networks and studied some problems of immunology and population genetics
