INDICADOR DE SUSTENTABILIDADE DASHBOARD: ANÁLISE DA SUSTENTABILIDADE DA PRODUÇÃO FAMILIAR DE FRUTAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE ITAPURANGA - GO

O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a sustentabilidade da produção tradicional e orgânica de frutas dos agricultores familiares do município de Itapuranga, por meio do indicador de sustentabilidade Dashboard. O principal problema é que o sistema de produção tradicional de frutas utilizado por estes agricultores estava sendo desenvolvido com o uso intensivo e inadequado de insumos químicos (fertilizantes e agrotóxicos) causando problemas de ordem social e econômica aos agricultores e impactos ao meio ambiente. De acordo com os resultados, conclui-se que: o sistema de fruticultura orgânica, mesmo se encontrando em fase inicial apresentou por meio do Indicador de Sustentabilidade Dashboard o Índice de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Global (IDS) com uma performance razoável. Isto indica que a implantação da fruticultura orgânica em Itapuranga, juntos aos agricultores familiares já dá sinais de que a fruticultura está sendo desenvolvida em bases mais sustentáveis. ---------------------------------------------The objective of this research went to analyze the sustainability of the traditional and organic production of the family farmers' of the municipal district of Itapuranga fruits, through the sustainability indicator Dashboard. The main problem is that the system of traditional production of fruits used by these farmers was being developed with the intensive and inadequate use of chemical (fertilizers and pesticides) inputs causing problems of social and economical order to the farmers and impacts to the environment. In agreement with the results, it is ended that: the system of organic horticulture, same meeting in initial phase presented through Sustentabilidade Dashboard Indicator the Index of Global (IDS) Maintainable Development with a reasonable performance. ANÁLISE DAS FORÇAS, FRAQUEZAS, OPORTUNIDADES E AMEAÇAS PARA OS CONDOMÍNIOS DE ARMAZÉNS RURAIS

O cenário atual globalizado e com intensas mudanças necessita que as organizações se atualizem constantemente em busca de ferramentas para se manterem competitivas. O objetivo desse trabalho é identificar as forças, fraquezas, oportunidades e ameaças para a nova forma de organização rural que se denomina Condomínios de Armazéns Rurais através da técnica de análise SWOT - Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities e Threats. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa aplicada, exploratório-descritiva e qualitativa, Foram utilizados como procedimentos técnicos a revisão de literatura, o estudo de múltiplos casos e a análise SWOT. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevistas com produtores rurais, proprietários de condomínios situados na Região Sul do Brasil, observação direta e também via análise documental. Os resultados permitiram identificar claramente e objetivamente as oportunidades e ameaças do ambiente externo, assim como as forças e fraquezas do ambiente interno para os Condomínios de Armazéns Rurais. Esse trabalho contribui ao demonstrar como a utilização de uma ferramenta de análise estratégica pode auxiliar os produtores rurais na tomada de decisão, com a literatura que é escassa para os Condomínios Rurais, e, sugere-se uma agenda de pesquisa para trabalhos futuros

Pervasive gaps in Amazonian ecological research

Biodiversity loss is one of the main challenges of our time,1,2 and attempts to address it require a clear un derstanding of how ecological communities respond to environmental change across time and space.3,4 While the increasing availability of global databases on ecological communities has advanced our knowledge of biodiversity sensitivity to environmental changes,5–7 vast areas of the tropics remain understudied.8–11 In the American tropics, Amazonia stands out as the world’s most diverse rainforest and the primary source of Neotropical biodiversity,12 but it remains among the least known forests in America and is often underrepre sented in biodiversity databases.13–15 To worsen this situation, human-induced modifications16,17 may elim inate pieces of the Amazon’s biodiversity puzzle before we can use them to understand how ecological com munities are responding. To increase generalization and applicability of biodiversity knowledge,18,19 it is thus crucial to reduce biases in ecological research, particularly in regions projected to face the most pronounced environmental changes. We integrate ecological community metadata of 7,694 sampling sites for multiple or ganism groups in a machine learning model framework to map the research probability across the Brazilian Amazonia, while identifying the region’s vulnerability to environmental change. 15%–18% of the most ne glected areas in ecological research are expected to experience severe climate or land use changes by 2050. Políticas públicas e participação social feminina: a experiência dos Conselhos Municipais de Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável

O artigo perscruta os Conselhos Municipais de Desenvolvimento Rural Sustentável dos municípios Bela Vista de Goiás e de Silvânia, no estado de Goiás, analisando a participação dos agricultores e agricultoras familiares no processo decisório e na operacionalização das políticas públicas para o meio rural. Os Conselhos envolvem relações sociais perpassadas por confl itos e disputas, com predomínio da participação social masculina em detrimento da feminina com evidências de marginalização da mulher no meio rural brasileiro. CRÉDITO RURAL E AGRICULTURA FAMILIAR NO BRASIL

Neste trabalho, analisamos a trajetória do crédito rural no Brasil e o seu específico direcionamento para a agricultura familiar. A análise contempla desde as propostas iniciais que delinearam o projeto de extensão rural implementado no país e sua articulação às várias modalidades de crédito rural, analisando o processo da “modernização conservadora” da agricultura, claramente vinculado à instituição do Sistema Nacional de Crédito Rural (1965), e chegando até a década de 1990, com o surgimento de novas formas de financiamento da agropecuária brasileira, onde se destaca a criação do Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar – PRONAF. Essa trajetória de reconstrução histórica torna-se relevante na medida em que se propõe a analisar a lógica subjacente às políticas de financiamento do setor agropecuário brasileiro e suas implicações para a agricultura familiar, até a instituição do PRONAF. ------------------------------------------------------------Here we analyze the trajectory of rural credit in Brazil and its specific targeting to family farming. My analysis covers from the original proposals outlined that the project of extending rural implemented in the country and its articulation to the various modalities of rural credit, analyzing the process of "modernization conservative" agriculture, clearly tied to the institution of the National System of Rural Credit (1965 ), and until the 1990, with the emergence of new forms of financing Brazilian agribusiness, where highlights the creation of the National Agricultural Family Farmers Empowerment Program – PRONAF. GOVERNANÇA CORPORATIVA NO SETOR SUCROALCOOLEIRO EM GOIÁS

Transformações estruturais e tecnológicas se intensificaram no setor sucroalcooleiro brasileiro a partir dos anos 1990, gerando ganhos de eficiência e competitividade às empresas brasileiras deste segmento econômico. No entanto, devido a fatores culturais, a governança desse setor é mal coordenada e estruturada, e tem sido forte barreira ao desenvolvimento da governança corporativa. Tendo em vista que os escassos estudos sobre governança corporativa em empresas sucroalcooleiras no Brasil focaram em corporações de capital aberto, o objetivo deste estudo é avaliar o nível de desempenho de indústrias sucroalcooleiras de capital fechado, em Goiás, no que se refere a adoção de políticas transparentes de negócios e práticas de governança corporativa. Os dados foram coletados junto a doze empresas por meio de questionário estruturado segundo medidas da dimensão valores, transparência e governança dos indicadores Ethos de responsabilidade social empresarial. Os resultados mostram que duas empresas possuem desempenho superior e quatro apresentam desempenho inferior. Muitos são os temas que devem ser priorizados para adequação da gestão das empresas aos pressupostos da governança corporativa, especialmente os relativos aos indicadores balanço social, governança corporativa e relações com a concorrência
