    Pengaruh Management Control System terhadap Firm Performance melalui Employee Motivation sebagai Variabel Intervening (Studi Kasus pada Sektor Non Manufaktur di Surabaya)

    Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan management control system terhadap firm performance melalui employee motivation sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif, dimana data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuisioner. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat bantu Smart Partial least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan management control system berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee motivation, management control system berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap firm performance, dan employee motivation berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap firm performance. Namun, employee motivation tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan sebagai variabel intervening antara management control system dan firm performance. Hal ini disebabkan karena pengaruh management control system terhadap firm performance secara langsung lebih besar dibanding dengan menggunakan variabel employee motivation sebagai mediasi antara management control system dengan firm performance. Selain itu, employee motivation dapat menjadi variabel yang berdiri sendiri atau variabel independen yang dapat mempengaruhi firm performance

    Nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) affect the growth of phytoplankton in the waters. Nitrogen is an important part in forming protein in organisms, while phosphorus is the most essential element for growth and contributes in protein formation and cell metabolism in organisms. The activities from the catchment area that enter into the P.B Soedirman Reservoir can affect both concentration of N and P. The comparison total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) is the limiting factor to affect the growth of phytoplankton. Chrysophyta is one of division from phytoplankton that has function as an important component in the food chain and become as natural feed for fish. This research showed the abundance of Chrysophyta, relations of TN with the abundance of Chrysophyta; TP with the abundance of Chrysophyta; TN/TP with the abundance of Chrysophyta; TN, TP, TN/TP with the abundance Chrysophyta in the P.B Soedirman Reservoir, Banjarnegara Regency. This research used survey method with purposive sampling technique on 7 observation stations with 3 repeating. The relation of TN/TP with the abundance of Chrysophyta were analyzed used correlation regression - correlation analyzis. The results of the research showed that total abundance Chrysophyta was between 339-9570 ind/l, relation between TN/TP with the abundance of Chrysophyta with the degree was weak to very strong correlation. The most affection correlation was shown by of TN, TP, TN/TP collectively with the abundance of Chrysophyta with coefficient value (r) of 0,890 with the strength of the relation of 79,3%. The regression analysis of TN, TP, TN/TP collectively with the abundance of Chrysophyta was shown by the equation Y= – 80987,801 – 8499,931TN + 1,684TP + 406,373TN/TP

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Pemerolehan Konsep untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa Kelas VIII pada Materi Tekanan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa ditinjau dari tes pemahaman dengan terdapat 7 aspek didalamnya yaitu interpretasi, mencontohkan, mengklasifikasikan, menggeneralisasikan, inferensi, membandingkan, dan menjelaskan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pre Experimental designs (one group pretest-postetst designs) yang hanya menggunakan satu kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII-2 yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar tes pretest-postest dan angket respon siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, metode tes dan angket respon siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Pemerolehan Konsep dengan persentase peningkatan N-gain 0,48 dengan katagori sedang. Ditinjau dari angket respon siswa model pembelajaran Pemerolehan Konsep dikatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa berdasarkan angket respon yang didapat dengan persentase sebesar 86,39%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka Model Pembelajaran Pemerolehan Konsep mampu Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa Kata kunci:  Model Pembelajaran Pemerolehan Konsep, Pemahaman Siswa

    The aim of the research was to investigate the relationship between women's perception of menopause and their level of anxiety. Subjects were members of “Dharma Wanita” UGM. The research used Perception Scale to measure menopause perception, and Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS) to measure anxiety. Data analysis was done by using Product Moment Correlation analysis. This study found that was a significant negative correlation between perception of the menopause and level of anxiety. The correlation indicated that the more positive perception of menopause, the lower level of anxiety; the more negative perception of menopause, the higher level of anxiety.     Breakfast is the food and drink that provide energy and other nutrientsthat were consumed in the morning. Breakfast is human need that should beregularly. Humans need to have breakfast,because it use to supply the sufficiencyof energy for daily activities. If you don't have itt, your body will not have energyto do your activity.This study was aimed to determine factors that influence mother behaviorin the provision of breakfast to children in elementary school of St.Thomas 1Medan. Some factor that influence were age, education, employment, knowledgeand attitude. This research was a quantitative analytic study. The population ofthis study were all of students in St. Thomas 1 elementary school and 85 mothersof the student. The sampling technique was using stratified random sampling. Thedata was obtained by questionnaires and interviews and analyzed used Chi-Square test.The research results showed that there was no correlation (p> 0.05)between age, education, employment and mother's behavior on giving breakfastand there was a correlation (p <0.05) between knowledge, attitude and mother'sbehavior on giving breakfast.As recommendation in this study, the parents should give more attentionand increase nutrition needs, especially in its quality and breakfast behavior oftheir children

    Digital modulation of the nickel valence state in a cuprate-nickelate heterostructure

    Layer-by-layer oxide molecular beam epitaxy has been used to synthesize cuprate-nickelate multilayer structures of composition (La2_2CuO4_4)m_m/LaO/(LaNiO3_3)n_n. In a combined experimental and theoretical study, we show that these structures allow a clean separation of dopant and doped layers. Specifically, the LaO layer separating cuprate and nickelate blocks provides an additional charge that, according to density functional theory calculations, is predominantly accommodated in the interfacial nickelate layers. This is reflected in an elongation of bond distances and changes in valence state, as observed by scanning transmission electron microscopy and x-ray absorption spectroscopy. Moreover, the predicted charge disproportionation in the nickelate interface layers leads to a thickness-dependent metal-to-insulator transition for n=2n=2, as observed in electrical transport measurements. The results exemplify the perspectives of charge transfer in metal-oxide multilayers to induce doping without introducing chemical and structural disorder

    Long-range charge density wave proximity effect at cuprate-manganate interfaces

    The interplay between charge density waves (CDWs) and high-temperature superconductivity is currently under intense investigation. Experimental research on this issue is difficult because CDW formation in bulk copper-oxides is strongly influenced by random disorder, and a long-range-ordered CDW state in high magnetic fields is difficult to access with spectroscopic and diffraction probes. Here we use resonant x-ray scattering in zero magnetic field to show that interfaces with the metallic ferromagnet La2/3_{2/3}Ca1/3_{1/3}MnO3_3 greatly enhance CDW formation in the optimally doped high-temperature superconductor YBa2_2Cu3_3O6+δ_{6+\delta} (δ1\bf \delta \sim 1), and that this effect persists over several tens of nm. The wavevector of the incommensurate CDW serves as an internal calibration standard of the charge carrier concentration, which allows us to rule out any significant influence of oxygen non-stoichiometry, and to attribute the observed phenomenon to a genuine electronic proximity effect. Long-range proximity effects induced by heterointerfaces thus offer a powerful method to stabilize the charge density wave state in the cuprates, and more generally, to manipulate the interplay between different collective phenomena in metal oxides.Comment: modified version published in Nature Material
