    Import 07/02/2011Předmětem Diplomové práce je Územní studie lokality v severozápadní části obce Malé Hoštice, která je součástí Statutárního města Opavy. Hlavním úkolem bylo zpracovat návrh řešení prostoru obce, především z hlediska venkovské zástavby rodinného typu, automobilové a pěší dopravy, odstavných ploch statické dopravy, řešení technické infrastruktury, veřejné zeleně a mobiliáře. Bylo navrženo nové rozdělení pozemku na jednotlivé parcely, návrh rodinné zástavby včetně přípojek inženýrských sítí a dopravy společně s novými parkovacími místy. Pozemek je rozdělen komunikací na pěší zónu a zónu tempo 30. Projekt obsahuje 28 rodinných domů, vhodně a funkčně vybraných do dané lokality. Celý návrh je řešen jako zástavba vesnického typu s dobrou dostupností za prací a relaxací, přispívá k rozvoji obce a klade důraz na dodržení rázu vesnice. Diplomová práce má 63 číslovaných stran.The theme of Diploma thesis is Urban study of north-western area in village Malé Hoštice, which is part of the city Opava. The main task was to develop a proposal for solving the space community, especially in terms of family houses, automotive and pedestrian traffic, parking places, solving of technical infrastructure, public green and mobiliary. It was proposed new spliting of land into individual parcels, development, including connections, utilities and traffic infrastructure, together with new parking spaces. Land is divided into roads on the pedestrian zone and the zone with maximum speed 30 km/h. The project is divide into 28 family houses, smart and functional in the selected location. The whole proposal is designed as a type of village development with availibility for work and relaxation, contributing to the development of community and accent on village character.     SIP protocol model for OMNeT++

    The article describes our new SIP protocol implementation for the OMNeT++ simulation framework. OMNeT++ simulation framework provides an extensive support of IP related protocols, nevertheless a working SIP protocol implementation is missing. Real measurements were also done using a SIPp traffic generator and the results are compared to those obtained by our new SIP model. Since this work is a part of bigger project concerned strictly on measuring "first response times" over networks with a faulty transmission links, the actually collected statistics are focused only this way

    Increasing robustness of multi-homed systems in heterogeneous environment

    Nowadays, packet error rate in fixed networks can be considered as a negligible value. However, the increasing requirements for transmission speed of mobile devices, heterogeneous technology, and other high frequency sources cause interference growth within the electromagnetic spectrum. This affects the overall reliability and throughput of the network and may cause undesirable operation malfunction of application-level services. Higher speeds can be achieved by advanced modulation techniques, but at the price of lower resistance against the interference. On the other hand, error-correcting codes or higher-level protocols are utilized to correct the delivery failures. We introduce a novel method for increasing robustness of communication for multi-homed systems in heterogeneous environment. Furthermore, we propose a security measure to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the transmitted data without influencing the transmission parameters. Finally, we show positive impact of the proposed method on transmission efficiency and effective throughput, especially in networks with high probability of error occurrence

    OpenFlow deployment and concept analysis

    Terms such as SDN and OpenFlow (OF) are often used in the research and development of data networks. This paper deals with the analysis of the current state of OpenFlow protocol deployment options as it is the only real representative protocol that enables the implementation of Software Defined Networking outside an academic world. There is introduced an insight into the current state of the OpenFlow specification development at various levels is introduced. The possible limitations associated with this concept in conjunction with the latest version (1.3) of the specification published by ONF are also presented. In the conclusion there presented a demonstrative security application addressing the lack of IPv6 support in real network devices since most of today's switches and controllers support only OF v1.0

    Influence of the attitude of the public towards the European Union on eurosceptic parties' formation and ideology

    Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem veřejného mínění o Evropské unii na vznik, formování a vývoj euroskeptických stran. Zaobírá se myšlenkou, zda tyto strany populisticky přizpůsobují své programy aktuálním náladám ve společnosti a snaží se pozorovat rozdíly těchto vlivů mezi stranami, které se hlásí k měkkému a tvrdému euroskepticismu (tzv. hard a soft euroscepticism). Uvedené otázky jsou zkoumány na vzorku šesti euroskeptických stran z různých zemí. Politické programy stran jsou dávány do kontextu s výzkumy veřejného mínění, které pocházejí z pravidelných celoevropských šetření Eurobarometr. Vedlejší otázkou, kterou se práce zabývá, je možné opačné působení, kdy by silně euroskeptická strana mohla ovlivňovat veřejné mínění o Evropské unii ve své zemi. V neposlední řadě přináší práce také pohled na případné transformace stran z tvrdých euroskeptiků na měkké.Bachelor thesis "Influence of the attitude of the public towards the European Union on eurosceptic parties' formation and ideology" deals with the relation between a public opinion on European union and development of eurosceptic parties. The thesis researching whether eurosceptic parties are tend to be populists, so they are adapting their programs according to public opinion on EU, or if they are more standoffish to this surveys. This thesis also tries to find out differences between hard and soft eurosceptic parties in their relation to opinion surveys. These issues are researched on a sample of six eurosceptic parties from different countries of Europe. Political programs are put into context with regular Europe-wide opinion surveys named Eurobarometer. Secondary question is possibility of reverse influence - when eurosceptic party changing level of euroscepticism in its country.     Reduction of packet loss by optimizing the antenna system and layer 3 coding

    The article describes the verification of the application of methods of network coding in the mobile wireless network environment with specific antenna system in use. Network coding principles are used for increase the reliability of data transmission. The proposed principles are demonstrated by modelling of the transmission system using data from real mobile networks. The effectiveness of network coding for deployment in wireless mobile networks is demonstrated on the basis of simulation in the simulation environment Omnet++. The input data of the simulation model are obtained by measuring in real mobile network of 2nd generation

    Methodology of the direct measurement of the switching latency

    The article provides a measurement methodology based on the related RFCs. It brings a solution of determining the switching latency on the physical layer using common measuring devices. As a proof of concept were done a number of the experimental measurements, including analysis of the results. Switching latency is an important performance parameter which participates in the decision-making whether to deploy the switch to low-latency environments. This is especially important in industrial networks for real-time systems involving smart grids. Determine the value of the switching latency is also an important step in the eventual deployment of the OpenFlow technology on this field.Scopus897635

    Adaptable system increasing the transmission speed and reliability in packet network by optimizing delay

    There is a great diversity in the transmission technologies in current data networks. Individual technologies are in most cases incompatible at physical and partially also at the link layer of the reference ISO/OSI model. Network compatibility, as the ability to transmit data, is realizable through the third layer, which is able to guarantee the operation of the different devices across their technological differences. The proposed inverse packet multiplexer addresses increase of the speed and reliability of packet transmission to the third layer, and at the same time it increases the stability of the data communication by the regulation of the delay value during the transmission. This article presents implementation of a communication system and its verification in real conditions. The conclusion compares the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed control system

    Diagnosis and management of Alpha 1 Antitrypsin deficiency in Europe:an expert survey

    Despite recent improvements, α1-antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) remains a rarely diagnosed and treated condition. To assess the variability of AATD diagnosis/treatment in Europe, and to evaluate clinicians’ views on methods to optimise management, specialist AATD clinicians were invited to complete a web-based survey. Surveys were completed by 15 physicians from 14 centres in 13 European countries. All respondents perceived the AATD diagnosis rate to be low in their country; 77% of physicians believed that ∼15% of cases were diagnosed. Low awareness was perceived as the greatest barrier to diagnosis. Spirometry was considered more practical than quantitative computed tomography (QCT) for monitoring AATD patients in clinical practice; QCT was considered more useful in trials. AAT therapy provision was reported to be highly variable: France and Germany were reported to treat the highest proportion (∼60%) of diagnosed patients, in contrast to the UK and Hungary, where virtually no patients receive AAT therapy. Most clinicians supported self-administration and extended dosing intervals to improve convenience of AAT therapy. This survey indicates that AATD diagnosis and management are highly heterogeneous in Europe; European cooperation is essential to generate data to support access to AAT therapy.     Gene diversity in grevillea populations introduced in Brazil and its implication on management of genetic resources.

    A variabilidade isoenzimática para seis populações de Grevillea robusta, oriundas de um teste de procedências/progenies, implantado no delineamento em blocos casualizados com 5 plantas por parcela, no Sul do Brasil, é descrita. A estrutura genética da população foi analisada utilizando-se marcadores bioquímicos, aos 5 anos de idade, especificamente para os locos MDH-3, PGM-2, DIA-2, PO-1, PO-2, SOD-1, e SKDH-1. As procedências do norte de ocorrência natural (Rathdowney e Woodenbong) apresentaram divergência genética superior, em relação à média das progênies, considerando o número de alelos por locus, (Ap), a riqueza alélica (Rs), a diversidade genética de Nei (H), e o coeficiente de endogamia (f). A endogamia foi detectada em diversos graus. A testemunha comercial apresentou o maior coeficiente de endogamia, (f = 0,4448), comparativamente à média das procedências (f = 0,2306), possivelmente devido à insuficiente amostragem populacional na região de origem (Austrália). Apesar de sua ocorrência natural restrita, observou-se correlação positiva entre divergência genética e distância geográfica entre as populações originais. A distância genética e análise de cluster, baseada no modelo bayesiano, mostrou três grupos de procedências distintos: 1) Rathdowney- QLD e Woodenbong-QLD; 2) Paddy?s Flat-NSW; e 3) Mann River-NSW, Boyd River-NSW e a testemunha comercial (material utilizado no Brasil). O agrupamento da testemunha com as procedências Mann River-NSW e Boyd River-NSW sugere um maior potencial das procedências do norte para o melhoramento genético visando à produção de madeira no Brasil, devido a sua elevada diversidade genética e baixo coeficiente de endogamia
