Length of transfer time between connecting trains – is there an ideal value?

Quality public transport is an essential part of global mobility. In general, there is an effort to ensure that as many transport users as possible use public transport. The public transport subsystems also include rail transport. Nowadays, traveling by train is not only a matter of overcoming longer distances in national and international transport, but also a matter of daily commuting to work, school or service. Suburban rail transport is usually part of integrated transport systems, the principle of which is the possibility to use several types of means of transport in one journey per ticket. An indicator of the proper functioning of these systems is the existence of quality and convenient transfer dates times and reliable transfer links that minimize waiting times and total time spent on transportation. Within these systems, there is no network-specific maximum transfer time, which usually depends on the technical solution of the transfer point, the distance that passengers have to cover between vehicles or check-in technology (for example, front door boarding, turnstiles, etc.). the ideal value of the transfer time in terms of the probability that the passenger will not miss the connection and at the same time represents different aspects of the view of this issue. This is on the specific route Ostrava – Prague, which is the busiest in the Czech Republic. Within it, two reference links will be selected (one for each direction), the mean value of the delay in the stations with connections and other statistical indicators will be determined. Furthermore, a simulation of train delays is created using the Monte Carlo method, from which the probability of a connection is determined and subsequently the degree of dissatisfaction with the route is determined while maintaining the current connections. From which a transfer time is subsequently identified in which the probability of passing is as low as possible, but at the same time in normal situations passengers do not have to wait too long

Title: Analysis of the elite tennis players for the selected match Objectives: The aim of the work was to find out the frequency, effectiveness and success of the elite players in the selected French Open 2018 match. This was the final match of this tournament, where i analyzed every forehand. Methods: The analysis was done by observing video recordings of final matches from the French Open 2018. This was a notation analysis. The results were recorded in pre-created tables and then converted to charts. Results: The results show us which player has used the forhend, where the forhend was more successful, more efficient, and in which direction it was played. The name of work: Forehand analysis of elite tennis players on a grass surface The aim: The aim of this work was to determine the frequency, efficiency and success forehand elite players selected matches at Wimbledon 2016. It was the 8 matches, where I watched for each player 50 games, of which I subsequently processed results in tables and graphs detailing found out the frequency, efficiency and success forehand. Method: The analysis was performed using indirect structured observations based on stored live coverage of Wimbledon 2016. It was used investigation with using line method in folios. The master’s thesis focuses on the development of household device which allows the user not only to measure quality and properties of air in individual rooms but also allows graphical display of measured values via wireless transmission. The work first deals with selection of a suitable microcontroller and then the wireless communications and used peripherals are briefly described. Furthemore, the work deals with the design of the device itself, its hardware and software equipment, as well as its construction. The financial costs are also analyzed in this work. The optimalization of public transport in Prague boroughs Letňany and Čakovice

Práce řeší optimalizaci veřejné dopravy ve vybraném území za pomocí analýzy současného stavu dopravní obslužnosti a jeho silných i slabých stránek. Na základě nedostatků jsou vytvořeny tři návrhy na optimalizaci, které jsou založeny na různých modelových situacích. Návrhy jsou vzájemně mezi sebou porovnány za pomocí vhodných optimalizačních a matematických metod. Cílem práce je najít takový návrh na optimalizaci dopravní obslužnosti, který řeší nejvíce nedostatků současného stavu při minimální změně nákladů.The thesis solves the optimization of public transport in the selected area through the analysis of the current state of transport services and its strengths and weaknesses. Based on the weaknesses, three optimization proposals are created that are based on different model situations. Proposals are compared with each other using appropriate optimization and mathematical methods. SYNERGY OF PREFERENTIAL MEASURES IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Disertační práce na základě podrobné analýzy vědeckého poznání problematiky preferenčních opatření ve veřejné dopravě obsahuje návrh metodiky na správné hodnocení použití synergického preferenčního opatření. Pojmem synergie se rozumí propojení dvou nebo více opatření upřednostnění jízdy vozidla MHD za účelem zvýšení spolehlivosti dodržování jízdního řádu a zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti veřejné dopravy. K návrhu metodiky je použito několik výzkumných metod. Mezi tyto metody patří primárně matematický nástroj Petriho sítě, který je použit pro účel podrobné charakteristiky jednotlivých synergických opatření. Dále jsou použity vybrané metody vícekriteriálního rozhodování a porovnávání sloužící ke stanovení úhlu pohledu na přístup k řešení dané problematiky. Konkrétně je pro tento účel použita metoda analýzy silového pole a Saatyho metoda. Z této metodické části následně vyplývá verifikace a validace návrhu na konkrétní reálné síti a následné celkové vyhodnocení. Hlavním výstupem práce je obecné hodnocení jednotlivých synergií, které má dát rozhodovateli o realizaci daného preferenčního opatření informaci, zda ta konkrétní zamýšlená varianta je adekvátní či ne.The dissertation, based on a detailed analysis of scientific knowledge of the issue of preferential measures in public transport, contains a proposal for a methodology for the correct evaluation of the use of synergistic preferential measures. The term synergy refers to the connection of two or more measures for prioritizing the travel of public transport vehicles in order to increase the reliability of adherence to the timetable and increase the competitiveness of public transport. Several research methods are used to design the methodology. These methods primarily include the Petri net mathematical tool, which is used for the purpose of detailed characterization of individual synergistic measures. Furthermore, selected methods of multi-criteria decision-making and comparison are used to determine the point of view on the approach to the solution of the given issue. Specifically, the force field analysis method and the Saaty method are used for this purpose. This methodical part subsequently results in the verification and validation of the proposal on a specific real network and subsequent overall evaluation. The main output of the work is a general evaluation of individual synergies, which should give the decision-maker about the implementation of the given preferential measure information whether the specific intended option is adequate or not.Dopravní fakulta Jana PerneraPo představení doktoranda byla komise seznámena se stanoviskem školitele a vedoucím školícího pracoviště k disertační práci. Doktorand seznámil komisi se svojí disertační prací formou prezentace. Poté byly předneseny posudky oponentů a doktorand uspokojivě reagoval na připomínky oponentů. V následné veřejné diskusi byly zodpovězeny otázky členů komise, které jsou uvedeny na samostatných listech. Na závěr proběhlo tajné hlasování.
