When Eagle Stares into The Eye

    Get PDF
Retinal pigment epithelial detachment (PED) is the separation of the retinal pigment epithelium(RPE) from the Bruch’s membrane(BM). Eagle syndrome(ES) is characterized by an abnormally elongated styloid process with/without abnormal direction and/or ossification of the styloid ligament. Presence of both the above entities together is a rarest of rare sight. It may be a coincidence, or the diseases may have an association. Hence, further studies are warranted

Bhallataka (Semecarpus anacardium Linn.) is mentioned in the group of Sthavar vanaspatika Visha in different Ayurvedic text book’s also it is irritant organic vegetable poison. All the parts are poisonous mostly seeds are hazadous to human, due to its irritant property. The Bhallataka nut contain bhilwanol and semecarpal as toxic ingredient show some medicinal properties. By its hot potency it has some local action like Sphotjananam (Ushna-Virya). An number of Ayurvedic formulation includes this drug after the proper Shodhana (purification) as in judicious use of Asuddha (impure) Bhallataka may results in toxic effect like burning sensation of skin blister formation, ulcer and so on. Treatment of toxic effect of Bhallataka is described various texts of Ayurveda. Modern toxicology also describes manifestation, treatment, autopsy finding and medico legal aspect of semecarpus anacardium linn

Practical and Adaptable Applications of Goal Programming: A Literature Review

    Get PDF
Goal programming (GP) is an important optimization technique for handling multiple, and often conflicting, objectives in decision making. This paper undertakes an extensive literature review to synthesize key findings on the diverse real-world applications of GP across domains, its implementation challenges, and emerging directions. The introduction sets the context and objectives of the review. This is followed by an in-depth review of literature analyzing GP applications in areas as varied as agriculture, healthcare, education, energy management, supply chain planning, and macroeconomic policy modeling. The materials and methods provide an overview of the systematic literature review methodology. Key results are presented in terms of major application areas of GP. The discussion highlights the versatility and practical utility of GP, while also identifying limitations. The conclusion outlines promising avenues for enhancing GP modeling approaches to strengthen multi-criteria decision support

Video Based Deep CNN Model for Depression Detection

    Get PDF
Our face reflects our feelings towards anything and everything we see, smell, teste or feel through any of our senses. Hence multiple attempts have been made since last few decades towards understanding the facial expressions. Emotion detection has numerous applications since Safe Driving, Health Monitoring Systems, Marketing and Advertising etc. We propose an Automatic Depression Detection (ADD) system based on Facial Expression Recognition (FER). We propose a model to optimize the FER system for understanding seven basic emotions (joy, sadness, fear, anger, surprise, disgust and neutral) and use it for detection of Depression Level in the subject. The proposed model will detect if a person is in depression and if so, up to what extent. Our model will be based on a Deep Convolution Neural Network (DCNN)

Garbhasanskara : Boon for pregnant woman

Purpose: As the good nutritional food provides physical health, the unborn child in the womb require Sanskara to acquire mental health to thrive. The activity of mother during pregnancy in the form of prayer (good rational thoughts), Manshakti (positive emotion), conversation with fetus (talk) or expressing feeling (touch) is not only recognised by unborn baby but it has a positive effects on physical and mental health. Hence, Garbhasanskara is scientific way of moulding mental health of unborn child. Method: Ayurveda classics, textbook of obstetrics and internet publications were consulted and reviewed for carrying out the present work. Result: The sanskrit word 'Garbha' means fetus in the womb and Sanskara means educating the mind. So, Garbhasanskara essentially means educating the mind of the fetus. The fundamental principle underlying Garbhasanskara is that unborn baby is able to sense, feel, listen, dream, respond to outside stimulus. Even, Ancient Indian medicine has recognized the need for the mental, spiritual and physical preparation of mother-to-be for the momentous event of childbirth. Ayurveda describes this theory as "Supraja Janan" or eu-maternity. This "Supraja Janan" involves the preparation of couple planning pregnancy, 3 months prior to conception. It can be achieved by regular practice of Garbhasanskara which includes music therapy, Mantra therapy, proper Ahara and Vihara, Yoga and meditation. To develop the desired qualities in the baby every mother should follow the process of Garbhasanskara. Discussion: Garbhasanskara is a process of nurturing the baby in womb. It is also process of training the baby as well as mothers mind during pregnancy. It helps in positive state of mind throughout pregnancy, enhances chances of normal delivery, good health of mother during pre and post conception upto delivery and pregnancy occurs without any complication which is the need of current situation due to unhealthy lifestyle habits. So, a broad expanse of this is described in the present paper

A Method for Two Face Detection and Comparison using Image Processing with MATLAB Techniques

    Get PDF
This Research paper designing for two photos face similarity comparison method, first we have to capture camera picture for 13 megapixels of two faces Image. It should be set by Photoshop software from size between 1.5MB to 1.7 MB. The all sample Images to attach in MATLAB software and cerate joint Histogram graph for each Image. Then we get scaling (X, Y) coordinate for each joint Histogram minimum and maximum peak point. Then it should be stored in table format in Ms-Access before the table creation then we used to image processing technique in MATLAB .Then we create coddling sections to compared (Xi,Yi) and (Xj,Yj) where (i = 1,2,3.?.) and (j = 1,2,3,4?.) values. If Xi = Xj and Yi = Yj for each point if both point value are same then output will be ?similar image ? otherwise ? images are not same ?

A Case Study of Socioeconomic Inequalities of Young Agricultural Migrant Workers in District Kewra, Haryana

Rural-to-urban migration is an ongoing process under the current circumstances. 54% of the world's population lives in urban areas and has access to per capita employment resources. India and Nigeria have the highest growth rates, according to a United Nations report. This study is being conducted with the aim of analyzing the access to health care of the migrant population in Kewra Village, Haryana. Interstate immigrants are coming to Haryana and other metropolitan areas of India in hopes of a better quality of life, higher incomes, better education and better health facilities. But the harsh reality is that these development indicators are not readily available to the majority of the immigration-dependent Indian population. In Haryana, migrant workers are generally absorbed into the agricultural sector. These migrant workers are forced to work on the land of other farmers and landlords. They only contribute to the production of agricultural products and do not own any land within the state for their own consumption or farming. Some of these migrant workers tend to work in the same fields for long periods of time, earning a daily wage as a reward for their loyalty, but some are also promoted to share in the harvest. These migrant workers are an important source of capital and contribute significantly to the production of landlords and farmers

In today’s world of electronic communication we use to send and receive data through internet. Apart from sending data to the correct recipient, the aspect of secure transmission also comes to picture i.e. data should remain unhampered. There are many techniques and algorithm coming in existence to provide secure transmission of data. Biometrics being one of the fast growing industries for identifying a person also needs to be secure. In this paper we are suggesting an algorithm to encrypt a fingerprint sample so that it can securely be transmitted over internet. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15033
