In the present article, a teaching innovation proposal in the area of Physical Education was elaborated and developed, in which the innovative methodology of gamification was used to work on alternative sports in the first year of secondary education. Gamification is a methodology that manages to improve one of the most important aspects for the students learning, such as motivation. Through this intervention it is intended to offer an educational resource that helps to improve the motivation and involvement of the students in Physical Education classes in accordance with the existing research background on gamification. In this proposal, the alternative sports "Juego de Palas" and "Ultimabola" were worked through a gamified didactic unit based on the Harry Potter universe, with the aim of improving the technical-tactical elements of these sports and showing skills and attitudes of respect, teamwork and sportsmanship. The proposal was methodologically divided into four interconnected parts that include, in turn, the necessary instruments to evaluate the students about the contents worked on, these parts being the individual magical performance, the collective magical performance, the magical attitude and the magical diary. The results indicate that good learning results were obtained as well as a great involvement of the students in both individual and collective performances. Finalmente, el modelo de regresión fue válido, revelando que los participantes que mayor PAFYD realizaban eran los hombres de poca edad, con estudios superiores a los postobligatorios, que no vivían solos y con buen estado de saludPhysical activity and sport practice have taken a leading role in recent decades in all sectors of population, given its physiological, psychological, social and competitive benefits; as well as for the benefits to health, education and culture. This descriptive and cross-sectional study, which was conducted on a sample of 1002 adults from the province of Seville, aims to define the sport profiles set by the COMPASS Proyect (2000) on the sample, specifying its distribution by gender and age through the instrument C-PAFYD, which was developed by Arribas, Izaskun, Gil, & González (2013). The results showed that almost half of the participants did not engage in any physical sporting activity (Profile 7), with higher percentages in women not participating. On the other hand, men were related to intensive and competitive physical activity, especially in the earlier ages. Besides this, recreational sport practice was higher in men (Profile 4) and a decrease of general levels of physical sporting practice was observed in people who work, with increasing values in older aged people due to health and wellness. Finally, the regression model was valid, showing that participants who did more physical activity were young men with higher academic qualifications, not living alone and with good healt

Physical Activity and Sport Practice (PASP) have grown in popularity in last years given its positive effects at physiological, social, cognitive and emotional level. Several researches have studied the main motivations involved in PASP using the Self-Determination Theory, highlighting the importance of intrinsic and extrinsic reasons. This descriptive and cross sectional study aims to establish the main motivations involved in physical activity and to identify its association with the sport profiles proposed by COMPASS project (2000). The research was conducted with a sample of 1002 adults (a 53% is female and a 47% is male) from Sevilla ( = 45.35 years old; SD = 17.96), using the C-PAFYD questionnaire with a reliability of α = .84. The results show that profile 1 (competitive and intensive) comprises intrinsic and extrinsic motivations such as hedonism, desire of competition and to achieve a sport career, while profile 2 is oriented towards least self-determined motivations as health improving. In addition, these participants do physical activity alone or with co-workers. The profiles 3 and 4 (regular and non-organized physical activity) are related to motivations of social and ludic type. In fact, this sport practice is mainly done with friends and peers in public places. Finally, profiles 5 and 6, which are associated with an irregular and occasional PASP, manifested extrinsic motivations such as disease preventio

Mood state (MS) is an element related to the perception of the welfare state and the health of the population (Fang et al., 2008; Glaser & Kiecolt-Glaser, 2005: Vázquez, Hervás, Rahona & Gómez, 2009). Investigations carried out by Alonso et al. (2013); Redd & Ones (2006) or among others, have revealed that people who perform physical activity (PA) have better MS. The main aim of this research was to analyze the relationship between PA, MS and population's gender. To this end, a descriptive and correlational cross-sectional study was performed on a sample of 1002 subjects aged ≥18 years. Sample was stratified by age, gender and municipal district quotas, with a confidence level of 95.5% (error 3.01). A personalized interview was conducted to complete a questionnaire about physical activity habits (based on Compass, 2000) and a questionnaire about mood states (CEA, of Arruza, Gil de Montes & Arribas, 2007). Results showed a greater presence of negative moods in women with respect to men. Significant gender differences were observed in the feelings of sadness, fatigue and annoyance. PA had a low magnitude postive correlation with positive MS and a negative correlation with negative MS (sadness and fatigue)

Self-esteem is a construct of great importance in adolescence that favors the health and psychological well-being of schoolchildren. In this paper, the two-dimensionality of the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RAS) is analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis, as well as the relationships between the practice of physical activity (PA), Global self-esteem, and the positive and negative dimensions of self-esteem. It was carried out in a sample of 429 students in the high school of the city of Seville (Andalusia). The instruments used were the Physical Activity Questionnaire in adolescents (PaqA, Martínez-Gómez et al., 2009) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (EAR, 1965) version of Atienza et al. (2000). The results obtained allow us to accept the two-dimensionality of the scale, as well as good levels of global self-esteem and a tendency to better self-esteem in active adolescents. The practice of PA is associated with the Positive Self-esteem dimension, but not with Negative Self-esteem or Global Self-esteem.

The development of Information and Communication Technologies has favored access to technological resources in adolescents. These tools provide access to information that can promote learning. However, they can also have a negative effect against people, as they can be used with other functionality, in which cyberbullying situations are caused during the interactions that arise when using social networks. The objective of this study was to determine the predictive value of the role of cyberbullying victims based on variables related to other roles involved in cyberbullying and bullying (aggressors and witnesses), as well as personal characteristics (sex and age), contextual characteristics (type of educational school in which they are attending) and positive teamwork habits. (cooperation, responsibility, dialogue, listening, respect). Information was collected from 227 students of the educational stages of Primary Education and Secondary Education, aged between 11 and 15 years, in a city with a high index of cultural diversity. The step-by-step technique was used to build the regression model. The results indicate that the model has a good goodness of fit coefficient (adjusted R2: 0.574; p < 0.001). The role of cyberbully is the most important predictive variable of the role of the victim in cyberbullying and, to a lesser extent, the role of the witness in cyberbullying, the role of the witness in bullying, and the role of the victim of bullying. The role of the bullying aggressor and the variables sex, age, type of educational center, and teamwork habits are excluded in the predictive model

In the present study we analyze the relationship between the bullying implication of students of Secondary Education (SE) and the level of physical activity measured with accelerometry. To this end, 54 students from two ESO centers aged between 12 and 18 years (M = 14.26, Sd = 1.34) were evaluated through the European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (EBIP-Q, 2016) to assess the involvement in bullying and, ActiGraph GT3X accelerometers, to assess the level of physical activity. The results show us that the average time invested in performing light Physical Activity (PA) is 1560.89 minutes in a week (Sd = 376.67), as well as in performing moderate PA is 358.87 (118.38) minutes / week and 451.89 (164.33) minutes / week in vigorous PA. These data are analyzed taking into account that 22.2% of the sample has involvement in bullying (victim: 16.7%, aggressor: 3.7% and victimized aggressor: 1.9%), although there are no significant correlations between the different levels of PA and the different roles of implication. Likewise, it should be noted in the ANOVA conducted between the involvement in bullying and the different levels of PA, that the F is significantly higher than 1 in the activity levels light (p = .029) and moderate (p = .020), by what there is no equality of means. As conclusions, it should be noted that according to our sample of the study, which is physically active, it has levels of involvement of bullying lower than other studies. Although we must indicate that after the results obtained, we cannot verify that attending to the practice recommendations of PA can protect against the direct implication of bullying
