Discrimination Because of Family Reconciliation Reasons
Por último intentar comprender la importancia de la igualdad en las organizaciones y la integración de polÃticas de conciliación para el beneficio de mujeres y hombres en dicha conciliación con vida familiar y trabajo.[Abstract] This proyect, Discrimination Because of Family Reconciliation Reasons, will explain and clarify the labor discrimination of women compared to men, and also, the different types of discrimination and legal consequences involved. Moreover, we need to define the pros and cons of this conciliation, and show the legal differences between the current law and previous labor legislation. Finally, we will try to understand the importance of the gender equality in the organizations and the implementation of conciliation policies, looking for the benefit of women and men in the already stated conciliation of family and professional life.Traballo fin de grao (UDC.FCT). Sustainability of public pension system
In this Thesis, sustainability of the public pension system, attempts to explain clearly the problem of sustainability model that we have knowledge of the Spanish public pensions, explaining the contingencies covered and the protective action of social security, understanding the key factors and threats to the pension system, so possible reforms that would be needed to make it sustainable and long-term projection. Finally include solutions that could be carried out to keep what so far is the reality in Spain, or try to gradually improve the public pension system with proposals for such sustainability and a comparison with private pension systems.Traballo fin de mestrado (UDC.FCT). Price dispersion in Uruguay
Retail prices for a product vary across time and places. The sources that drive price disp ersion can be grouped into three categories: (i) price diffrences across markets, (ii) price diferences across stores in a market, and (iii) within-store price variation over time. I find there is price dispersion in the retail market in Uruguay. The decomposition shows that 39.16 percent is across-markets, 36.90 percent corresponds to across-store, and 23.94 percent over time. These results highlight the relevance of intertemporal pricing strategies of stores, and how they set prices at the local market to understand price dispersion. Nevertheless, in recent years across-market price dispersion has been increasing, which can imply a structural change of price dispersion sources. The price dispersion phenomenon and its decomposition are heterogeneous. Across products, stores, and over time I find differences in price dispersion as well as differences in the sources behind it
Interaction of Hawking radiation with static sources in deSitter and Schwarzschild-deSitter spacetimes
We study and look for similarities between the response rates and of a static scalar source
with constant proper acceleration interacting with a massless,
conformally coupled Klein-Gordon field in (i) deSitter spacetime, in the
Euclidean vacuum, which describes a thermal flux of radiation emanating from
the deSitter cosmological horizon, and in (ii) Schwarzschild-deSitter
spacetime, in the Gibbons-Hawking vacuum, which describes thermal fluxes of
radiation emanating from both the hole and the cosmological horizons,
respectively, where is the cosmological constant and is the black
hole mass. After performing the field quantization in each of the above
spacetimes, we obtain the response rates at the tree level in terms of an
infinite sum of zero-energy field modes possessing all possible angular
momentum quantum numbers. In the case of deSitter spacetime, this formula is
worked out and a closed, analytical form is obtained. In the case of
Schwarzschild-deSitter spacetime such a closed formula could not be obtained,
and a numerical analysis is performed. We conclude, in particular, that and do not coincide in
general, but tend to each other when or . Our
results are also contrasted and shown to agree (in the proper limits) with
related ones in the literature.Comment: ReVTeX4 file, 9 pages, 5 figure
Do static sources respond to massive scalar particles from the Hawking radiation as uniformly accelerated ones do in the inertial vacuum?
We revisit the recently found equivalence for the response of a static scalar
source interacting with a {\em massless} Klein-Gordon field when the source is
(i) static in Schwarzschild spacetime, in the Unruh vacuum associated with the
Hawking radiation and (ii) uniformly accelerated in Minkowski spacetime, in the
inertial vacuum, provided that the source's proper acceleration is the same in
both cases. It is shown that this equivalence is broken when the massless
Klein-Gordon field is replaced by a {\em massive} one.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figure
