Introduction: Postpartum is one of the decisive moments to strengthen the attachment between the mother and child relationship; however, there are demographic factors that can limit this interaction and become a disadvantage for the proper development of the child. Objective: Determine the demographic factors related to maternal child attachment in the postpartum during the year 2014. Materials and methods: An analytical transversal study was carried out with a sample of 117 mothers with their newborn. The instrument Mother-child relationship was used. The variables to determine attachment were: breastfeeding, interest, response, language and tact. They were evaluated on a numerical scale whose final score allowed to determine whether there was a healthy or at-risk attachment. A logistic regression model was implemented to explore the association between demographic variables and at-risk attachment. Results: The median age was 27 years with an interquartile range between 22 and 31. 54.7% lived in free union and 34.2% had fulfilled high school studies. Healthy attachment was presented in 80.3% of the mothers. Nevertheless, 60.7% had low initial motivation for breastfeeding which could lead to at-risk attachment. Statistical association between at-risk attachment, marital status and schooling was found, but the only variable that explained this association was the civil status: single (RP = 4.88 IC 95% P = 0.48). A través del uso pertinente de las herramientas pertinentes, anteriormente mencionadas, se logró visibilizar que el mercado en el que se lograría mejor posicionamiento a nivel internacional seria en el Mercado Estadounidense, más específicamente las grandes superficies, almacenes de cadena, que una vez delimitado permitió estudiar a profundidad el proceso logístico de distribución física internacional de flores tipo exportación. Este trabajo se desarrolló haciendo uso de variables, matrices y factores que permitieran marcar objetivos de comercialización internacional a Estados Unidos. Características sociales de salud en urgencias de la Clínica Universitaria Bolivariana (Medellín–Colombia) por intoxicación con sustancias psicoactivas

Introduction: the chronic use of psychoactive substances causing harm to the physical health which sometimes can be severe and merits inquiry the emergency services.Methods: retrospective descriptive study that described the sociodemographic and health of people who consulted urgency intoxicated by psychoactive substance characteristics. The convenience sample and consisted of 100 medical recordsResults: the analysis found that those most consulted were men, the most consumed substance was alcohol followed by two or more substances, the day was over on Sunday. Most drugs were administered, the venous fluids and painkillers.Conclusions: alcohol intoxication was the most common, the most common psychiatric medical history were the most frequent symptoms were dehydration and gastrointestinal upset. Introducción: el consumo crónico de sustancias psicoactivas ocasiona daños en la salud física, los cuales algunas veces pueden ser graves y ameritan consulta a los servicios de urgencias.Materiales y métodos: estudio descriptivo retrospectivo que puntualizó las características sociodemográficas y de salud, de las personas que consultaron a urgencias de la Clínica Universitaria Bolivariana (Medellín – Colombia), intoxicadas por sustancias psicoactivas. La muestra a conveniencia estuvo constituida por 100 historias clínicas.Resultados: en el análisis de las historias clínicas consultadas, se encontró lo siguiente: los hombres fueron quienes más consultaron; la sustancia con mayor consumo fue el alcohol; el día con más consulta fue el domingo. Se administraron básicamente, líquidos venosos y analgésicos.Conclusiones: la intoxicación alcohólica fue la más usual; los antecedentes personales más frecuentes fueron psiquiátricos; los síntomas principales: deshidratación y molestias gastrointestinales
