HYBRID GIS-BIM APPROACH FOR THE TORINO DIGITAL-TWIN: THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A FLOOR-LEVEL 3D CITY GEODATABASE
Abstract. The research tries to present a preliminary work into geo-spatial management of public administration assets thanks to interoperability of BIM-GIS models, related to urban scale scenarios. The strategy proposed tries to deepen the management, conversion and integration of databases related to public assets and particularly schools building, and related them into city-related geo-databases. The methodology, based on the real scenario of Torino Municipality and their needs addressed in recent studies in collaboration with FULL – Future Urban Legacy Lab from Politecnico di Torino, take advantage from the availability of two test dataset at different scale, with different potential and bottlenecks. The idea of developing a 3D digital twin of Torino actually stop long before the 3D city modelling only, but rather we have to deal with the integration and harmonization of existing databases. These data collections are often coming from different updating and based on non-homogeneous languages and data models. The data are often in table format and managed by different offices and as many management systems. Moreover, recently public administrations as the one of Torino, have increase availability of BIM models, especially for public assets, which need to be known, archived, and localized in a geographic dimension in order to benefit from the real strategic potential of a spatial-enabled facility management platform as Digital Twin. Combining the use of parametric modeler software (Revit) and visual programming language (Dynamo), the proposed methodology tries to elaborate rules on a set of shared language parameters (characterizing the buildings as attributes in both datasets: ID; address; construction; floors; rooms dimensions, use, floor; height; glass surfaces). This is tested as conversion workflow between the Municipality DB and the BIM model. This solution firstly allows the interaction and query between models, and then it proposes open issues once the enriched BIM model is imported into the geographical dimension of the Torino 3D city model Digital Twin (ArcGIS Pro platform), according to LOD standards, and enriched with semantic components from municipality DB
Lifetime measurements of the low-lying excited states of <sup>208</sup>Po
In this study we present the preliminary results about the lifetimes of the 2₂⁺, 4₁⁺ states of ²⁰⁸Po and the upper limit of the lifetime of the 2₁⁺ state. For measuring the lifetimes of the 2₁⁺ and 4₁⁺ states the Recoil Distance Doppler Shift (RDDS) method and for the lifetime of the 2₂⁺ state the Doppler Shift Attenuation method (DSAM) were used. The resulting absolute transition strength B(M1 ; 2₂⁺ → 2₁⁺) ≥ 0.122(20) μN² reveals the predominant isovector nature of the 2₂⁺ state of ²⁰⁸Po

Low collectivity of the 2(1)(+) state of Po-212
International audienceThe lifetime of the state of Po was measured in the Pb(C,Be)Po transfer reaction by γ -ray spectroscopy employing the recoil distance Doppler shift (RDDS) method. The derived absolute B(E2) value of 2.6(3)W.u. indicates a low collectivity and contradicts previous claims of α-cluster components in the structure of the state. It is demonstrated that a consistent description of the properties of the −−− sequence in Po cannot be achieved in the framework of a single-j shell-model calculation, either. This puzzle is traced to the properties of the seniority-2 configurations in Pb and Po
Low collectivity of the first 2⁺ states of ²¹²,²¹⁰Po
The lifetimes of the first 2⁺ excited states of ²¹²,²¹⁰Po were measured in two transfer reactions ²⁰⁸Pb(¹²C,⁸Be)²¹²Po and ²⁰⁸Pb(¹²C,¹⁰Be)²¹⁰Po by the Recoil Distance Doppler Shift (RDDS) method and by the Doppler Shift Attenuation method (DSAM), respectively. The derived absolute B(E2) values of 2.6(3) W.u. for ²¹²Po and 1.83(28) W.u. for ²¹⁰Po indicate low collectivity. It is shown that the properties of the yrast 2₁⁺, 4₁⁺, 6₁⁺ and 8₁⁺ states in both nuclei cannot be described consistently in the framework of nuclear shell models. It is also demonstrated in the case of ²¹⁰Po that Quasi-particle Phonon Model (QPM) calculations cannot overcome this problem thus indicating the existence of a peculiarity which is neglected in both theoretical approaches
Police Interactions with Mentally Ill Individuals
This paper analyzes the interactions between police officers and mentally ill individuals in order to understand these interactions and whether they are effective or whether they need to be improved upon. It is a secondary analysis of research, combining both a literature review of different theories relating to the topic and an analytical review of empirical research. Within this paper, it is proposed that police interact with mentally ill individuals fairly properly, but can use some improvement through partnerships with different organizations or better training. Use of force amongst officers in relation to mentally ill individuals will be analyzed, as well as different potential training regimes or partnerships that could better these interactions
