O ensino de funções na lousa digital a partir do uso de um objeto de aprendizagem construído com vídeos

Defesa: Curitiba, 04/12/2015Inclui referências : f. 136-143Resumo: As constantes inovações tecnológicas trouxeram para a sala de aula mais uma ferramenta de auxílio ao professor: a lousa digital (LD), e para conseguir atingir suas maiores potencialidades os objetos de aprendizagem (OA) são utilizados como complemento. O objetivo desta pesquisa, que tem uma abordagem qualitativa, foi analisar uma proposta metodológica de ensino, vinculada à construção e aplicação de um objeto de aprendizagem na lousa digital, com base na teoria cognitiva de aprendizagem multimídia. Esse OA foi elaborado com recortes de vídeos e por meio de atividades desenvolvidas com os softwares GeoGebra e Hot Potatoes. A pesquisa contou com a participação de dez alunos do segundo ano do ensino médio do Colégio Estadual Padre Anchieta, do município de Salgado Filho, Paraná. Os alunos foram indicados por seus professores por apresentarem dificuldades com os conteúdos de função do primeiro e do segundo grau em sala de aula. Utilizou-se a lousa digital uBoard, que foi distribuída às escolas públicas estaduais pelo Programa Nacional de Tecnologia Educacional. Buscamos, a partir da análise das gravações realizadas durante a aplicação, apresentar quais as contribuições que esse OA proporcionou a esses alunos. Durante todo o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, observamos uma possível presença do coletivo pensante, formado por aluno-aluno, alunos-pesquisadora e aluno-máquina. Além disso, constatamos que esses coletivos desencadearam interações e interatividades que permitiram avanços significativos das atividades. Constatamos também que neste trabalho com o OA houve indícios de reorganização do pensamento, possibilitada pelos vídeos, pois os alunos apresentaram compreensões sobre os gráficos das funções em estudos, expressando as representações mentais compreendidas. Notamos uma certa dificuldade dos alunos em escrever na LD, mas eles alternavam entre as ferramentas do software com facilidade, destacando que os nativos digitais apresentam familiaridade com as tecnologias. Por fim, percebemos que alunos tiveram certa dificuldade com a utilização de alguns símbolos matemáticos durante as atividades, tendo sido necessárias intervenções da pesquisadora, o que representa indicativos da dificuldade apresentada ao estudarem esse conteúdo em sala de aula. Lousa Digital.Abstract: The constant technological innovations have brought to the classroom one more tool to help the teacher: the digital board (DB), and to achieve its hightest potential, learning objects (LO) are used as a complement. The aim of this study, which has a qualitative approach, was to analyze a methodological teaching proposal, linked to the construction and application of a learning object on the digital board, based on the cognitive theory of multimedia learning. This LO was designed with videos cutouts and through activities developed with GeoGebra and Hot Potatoes softwares. The research involved the participation of ten students of the second year of a high school called Padre Anchieta State School, in the municipality of Salgado Filho, Parana State, Brazil. The students were nominated by their teachers because they had difficulties with the contents function of the first and second degree in the classroom. A uBoard digital board, distributed to public schools by the National Educational Technology Program, was used. We seek, through the analysis of recordings made during the application of the activities, to present the contributions that the LO provided to the students.Throughout the development of this research, we could notice a possible presence of the collective thinking, formed by student-student, student-researcher and student-machine. In addition, we found out that this collective thinking triggered interactions and interactivity that enabled significant advances in the activities. We also noticed that in the work with the LO there was evidence of thought reorganization, which was possible by the use of videos, since the students showed understanding of the graphic functions in the studies, expressing mental representations. The students had difficulty in writing on the DB, but they alternated easily between the software tools, which emphasizes that digital natives have familiarity with the technologies. Finally, we realized that the students had some difficulties with the use of some mathematical symbols during the activities, which required the intervention of the researcher, which is an indicative of the difficulty presented by the study of this content in the classroom. Barnmorskors arbete med cervixcancerprevention på ungdomsmottagningar

Syftet var att belysa barnmorskors uppfattning om arbete med cervixcancerprevention på ungdomsmottagning. En kvalitativ intervjustudie med induktiv ansats har gjorts där 12 barnmorskor deltagit. Materialet analyserades med innehållsanalys och resulterade i fyra kategorier; HPV och cervixcancer i det dagliga arbetet, Information och samtal om HPV och cervixcancer, Förebyggande åtgärder mot HPV och cervixcancer och Barnmorskornas reflektioner om HPV-vaccinationen. Resultatet visade ämnets låga prioritet i barnmorskornas dagliga arbete och att samtal kring HPV och cervixcancer var sällsynt och främst skedde på indikation eller då flickorna önskade råd. Hälsofrämjande information om HPV och cervixcancer borde vara en given del i verksamheten på ungdomsmottagningar, men nationella riktlinjer för detta saknas i dagsläget. Mer omfattande studier kring ämnet skulle kunna ligga till grund för en utformning av tydliga riktlinjer

Formação docente online em educação financeira: uma proposta de saberes e práticas

Resumo: O presente artigo traz uma proposta de um curso online de curta duração sobre Educação Financeira como formação continuada para professores, cujas atividades elaboradas privilegiam a utilização de diversas ferramentas que estimulam a aprendizagem e a elaboração de atividades para realização com seus alunos. O documento aborda também como o curso está estruturado, o modelo de design instrucional utilizado, as atividades a serem realizadas, bem como reflexões do porquê das escolhas realizadas. Para além disso, é apresentada uma reflexão sobre a importância de trabalhar a educação financeira nas escolas, na abordagem dada pela Base Nacional Comum Curricular e à luz da Estratégia Nacional de Educação Financeira sobre o tema. Online education in teaching financial education: a proposal of knowledge and practice Abstract: This paper presents a proposal for a Financial Education’s online short course as a continuing education for teachers, whose elaborated activities favor the use of several tools that encourage learning, and development of activities to perform with his students. The document also discusses how the course is structured, the instructional design model used, the activities to be accomplished, as well the reflections about the choices made. In addition, a reflection about the importance of working financial education in schools, on the approach given by the National Curricular Common Base and considering the National Financial Education Strategy about the subject. Innovative Multi-Feed-Per-Beam Reflector Antenna for Space-Borne Conical-Scan Radiometers

We present an antenna for use on conical-scan space-borne radiometers in C band and demonstrate that stringent radiometric requirements can be met. The antenna consists of a 5 m offset reflector fed by a focal plane array in a multi-feed-per-beam configuration, so far never used in ocean observation missions. We use distinct element beams and two optimization routines for obtaining element excitation amplitudes and phases, and with either routine, and in both x- and y-polarization, compliant beams, with footprint < 20 km, distance to coast < 20 km and accuracy < 0:25 K, are obtained. These results may pave the way for use of focal plane arrays with digital beamforming in future radiometric ocean observation missions

A utilização de softwares de análise de dados qualitativos: um mapeamento de teses em educação matemática

Este artigo caracteriza a utilização de softwares de análise de dados qualitativos em teses voltadas à Educação Matemática, desenvolvidas no Brasil, no período de 2010 a 2019, com o intuito de fundamentar as escolhas destes softwares a partir de caminhos já trilhados por outros pesquisadores. Para isso, foi realizado um mapeamento para desvelar dados identificadores das teses, bem como aspectos relacionados à adoção destes softwares. Foram analisadas 651 teses disponíveis na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, das quais 31 compõem o corpus desta investigação, o que evidencia a pouca adoção destes softwares na área analisada. No corpus, foi observada a predominância da abordagem qualitativa e a identificação de nove softwares distintos, sendo os três mais utilizados: Atlas.ti, NVivo e CHIC, nesta ordem. A adoção dos softwares está atrelada ao potencial em relação à categorização, organização, visualização, manuseio dos dados, otimização de tempo e facilitação da análise, além de possibilitar exploração de grande volume e diversidade de dados

A utilização de softwares de análise de dados qualitativos: um mapeamento de teses em Educação Matemática

This paper characterizes the use of qualitative data analysis software in doctoral theses about Mathematics Education developed in Brazil, from 2010 to 2019, to support the choices of these software from paths already followed by other researchers. For this, a mapping was made to identify the theses and the aspects related to the use of these software in the field. The investigation retrieved 651 doctoral theses available in the Brazilian Digital Library of Thesis and Dissertations in which only 31 of them compose the corpus of this paper. This number evidences the little use of these software in the analyzed area. In the corpus, it was observed the predominance of the qualitative approach and the identification of nine different software, being three the most used: Atlas.ti, NVivo and CHIC, in that order. In this project I investigate the impact of musical influences on listeners, particularly in performance and composition. The study is motivated by a personal quest to understand how musical inspirations shape proficiency on an instrument and compositional abilities. Five pieces with varied grooves, tempos, and harmonics were composed and performed on March 19, 2024, at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm to examine these influences. Audience feedback indicated recognizable connections to music from the 1950s and 1960s. Post-concert analysis revealed insights into the direct and indirect influences on the compositions, detailing the thought processes behind each piece. The discussion offers a comprehensive summary, linking the work to instrumental techniques and highlighting the development of skills in composition and leadership.
