Bienestar psicológico de los cuidadores de adultos mayores en la Asociación Casa del Otoño municipio de Yopal Casanare.

Imágenes, Tablas y GraficasEl objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar el bienestar psicológico del personal cuidador del adulto mayor de la asociación Casa del Otoño en el municipio de Yopal Casanare, la investigación es cuantitativa de corte descriptivo, transversal retrospectiva. Participaron 16 personas que corresponden al 80% de cuidadores formales de adultos mayores de la institución; Se aplico la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico EBP de Sánchez Cánovas. El instrumento consta de 65 ítems, que evalúan el bienestar psicológico subjetivo, el bienestar material, el bienestar laboral, y el de las relaciones con la pareja. La evaluación mostró que el área en la que logran mayor bienestar es el área la laboral, le sigue el área de bienestar psicológico subjetivo; área de bienestar material y por último el área de bienestar con la pareja.The aim of this study was to assess the psychological well-being of the elderly caretaker staff of Autumn House Association in the town of Casanare Yopal, research is descriptive quantitative cutting, transversal retrospective; 16 people participated, corresponding to 80% of formal caregivers of adults over the institution; Scale of Psychological Well EBP J. Propuesta de reingeniería en los procesos de almacenaje de la empresa de Servicios Internacionales Aeroportuarios Talma SAC para la reducción de quejas por los servicios ofertados proyectados al 2018

El objetivo general de la investigación fue comprobar que la reingeniería en los procesos logísticos de almacenaje de Talma Servicios Aeroportuarios reducirán las quejas por los servicios ofertados periodo 2016-2017. Para la investigación el tipo de estudio. Se utilizó el método deductivo-explicativo. Entre los resultados más importantes resaltan que la proyección de espacios disponibles que realizará para almacenar la carga por recibir influyen significativamente en permitirlos procesos secuenciales; que la adquisición y desarrollo aplicativo de un nuevo software logístico influyen significativamente en permitir la eliminación de los cuellos de botella en el ingreso de la carga aérea a los almacenes de Talma servicios aeroportuarios, brindando data en tiempo real y oportuna; que la ejecución de los procesos de almacenaje modificados influyen significativamente en reducir los tiempos improductivos existentes; que la redistribución de las balanzas digitales para el pesaje de la carga aérea por recibir influyen significativamente en producir la satisfacción de los clientes por el correcto manipuleo. Como conclusión, la reingeniería de los procesos logísticos de almacenaje de Talma Servicios Aeroportuarios influyen significativamente en reducir las quejas por los servicios ofertados periodo 2016-2017.Tesi

Medición de la gestión empresarial de las Pymes enfocada al sector servicios en el municipio de zarzal

Con el propósito de medir la gestión empresarial, es preciso implementar al menos una herramienta que evalúe esta misma. Es así, como cada empresa del municipio de Zarzal Valle tiene que enfrentarse a las distintas adversidades del sector, entre los cuales, una de ellas es que no se encuentran soportados por metodologías concretamente definidas en sus marcos legales ni puestas en marcha en el desarrollo de su actividad. Lo importante en la creación de empresa es generar estabilidad, la cual se debe entender como el propósito de crear empleo para el entorno geográfico e incrementar las utilidades de la organización. Preliminary tropical fungal palynology of early-middle Miocene sediments from Northwestern Peru

Fungal communities are a vital part of terrestrial ecosystem functions and understanding how they respond to climate change is necessary for predicting future assemblage dynamics. Sediments deposited during the Miocene Climate Optimum (MCO), 18-13 million years ago, provide an opportunity to examine fungal responses to a warming event with CO2 values similar to those today. Genomic landscape and immune-related gene expression profiling of epithelial ovarian cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy

Ovarian cancerCàncer d'ovariCáncer de ovarioPlatinum-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by interval debulking surgery is an accepted treatment for patients with stage III or IV epithelial ovarian cancer who are not suitable for primary debulking surgery. The identification of suitable adjuvant treatments in these patients is an unmet need. Here, we explore potential genomic characteristics (mutational and immune-associated expression profiles) in a series of patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Tumor samples from biopsy and interval debulking surgery were analyzed for mutational landscape and immune profiling, together with detailed immunohistochemistry using different immune cell markers, and correlated with clinicopathological characteristics and potential response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. No major differences in the mutational landscape were observed in paired biopsy and surgery samples. Genomic loss of heterozygosity was found to be higher in patients with total/near-total tumor response. The immune gene expression profile after neoadjuvant chemotherapy revealed activation of several immune regulation-related pathways in patients with no/minimal or partial response. In parallel, neoadjuvant therapy caused a significant increase of tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte population abundance, primarily due to an augmentation of the CD8+ T cell population. Remarkably, these changes occurred irrespective of potential homologous recombination defects, such as those associated with BRCA1/2 mutations. Our study strengthens the use of loss of heterozygosity as a biomarker of homologous repair deficiency. The changes of immune states during neoadjuvant chemotherapy reveal the dynamic nature of tumor-host immune interactions and suggest the potential use of immune checkpoint inhibitors or their combination with poly-ADP polymerase inhibitors in high stage and grade epithelial ovarian cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant therapy.This study was funded by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). α-Galactosidase-A Loaded-Nanoliposomes with Enhanced Enzymatic Activity and Intracellular Penetration

Lysosomal storage disorders (LSD) are caused by lysosomal dysfunction usually as a consequence of deficiency of a single enzyme required for the metabolism of macromolecules, such as lipids, glycoproteins, and mucopolysaccharides. For instance, the lack of α-galactosidase A (GLA) activity in Fabry disease patients causes the accumulation of glycosphingolipids in the vasculature leading to multiple organ pathology. Enzyme replacement therapy, which is the most common treatment of LSD, exhibits several drawbacks mainly related to the instability and low efficacy of the exogenously administered therapeutic enzyme. In this work, the unprecedented increased enzymatic activity and intracellular penetration achieved by the association of a human recombinant GLA to nanoliposomes functionalized with Arginine-Glycine-Aspartic acid (RGD) peptides is reported. Moreover, these new GLA loaded nanoliposomes lead to a higher efficacy in the reduction of the GLA substrate named globotriasylceramide in a cellular model of Fabry disease, than that achieved by the same concentration of the free enzyme. The preparation of these new liposomal formulations by DELOS-SUSP, based on the depressurization of a CO-expanded liquid organic solution, shows the great potential of this CO-based methodology for the one-step production of protein-nanoliposome conjugates as bioactive nanomaterials with therapeutic interest. α-galactosidase-A-(GLA)-loaded nano-liposomes functionalized with Arginine-Glycine-Aspartic acid (RGD) peptides are successfully prepared by using compressed CO. This nanoformulation shows an unprecedented increase of the GLA enzymatic activity and intracellular penetration, in comparison to the free enzyme. Generalidades de la farmacovigilancia y el regente en Colombia

Resumen Decimos que el curso de diplomado de profundización en farmacovigilancia es un fragmento en nuestro campo de formación disciplinar, por lo cual se realiza como opción de grado, con el fin de obtener el título de Tecnología en Regencia de Farmacia. Por este motivo se lleva a cabo la ejecución de este resumen, teniendo en cuenta que se miramos y trabajamos en los temas de mayor relevancia que se soportaron en la plataforma de los contenidos de material bibliográfico. Los cuales nos ayudaron a conocer y afianzar los temas vistos a través del conocimiento y la importancia de estos para nuestra carrera. Razón por la cual nos recalca el significado de la Farmacovigilancia, siendo esta una herramienta necesaria para prevenir y disminuir los diferentes problemas relacionados con el uso de medicamentos, por lo cual nos ayuda a reducir los riesgos que se producen por el uso inadecuado de estos. Por consiguiente, nombraremos los temas más relevantes así; las generalidades de la farmacovigilancia, eventos adversos debidos al uso de medicamentos haciendo un reconocimiento de estos, para de esta manera tratar de prevenirlos. Por ende, es que surge la importancia del quehacer del farmacéutico de la profundización en la descripción de los procesos del servicio farmacéutico y la relación que tiene con la farmacovigilancia. Finalmente, se hace un reconocimiento de la evaluación y efectividad de los tratamientos farmacológicos en las enfermedades de mayor de mayor prevalencia e incidencia en la comunidad como la infección por VIH/SIDA, hipertensión arterial, diabetes mellitus, dislipidemia como factor de riesgo para enfermedad cerebrovascular y enfermedad respiratoria crónica. Enfermedad renal en empleados que laboran en la fábrica industrial AGAVE S.A. de C.V. Hacienda El Platanar, municipio de Moncagua, departamento de San Miguel

RESUMEN: La Enfermedad Renal es un proceso o trastorno, infeccioso, inflamatorio, obstructivo, vascular o neoplásico del riñón. La prevalencia en nuestro medio representa un porcentaje de mucha importancia por ser una enfermedad silenciosa que en la última década constituye la primera causa de muerte. Este estudio tiene como objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de Enfermedad Renal en los empleados que laboran en la Fábrica Industrial Agave S.A. de C.V. Hacienda El Platanar, municipio de Moncagua, departamento de San Miguel. Metodología: El estudio fue de tipo prospectivo, transversal, descriptivo, y de laboratorio; la población estuvo constituida por 200 empleados de la fábrica Agave, a quienes se solicitó firmar un consentimiento informado y se realizó una entrevista previa con preguntas abiertas y cerradas, referentes a la variable de interés para recopilar información necesaria. Se tomó el peso de cada empleado y se recolectó muestra de sangre y de orina para realizar pruebas de laboratorio: Determinación de creatinina sérica y glicemia, examen general de orina, proteínas en orina con ácido sulfosalicílico y microalbuminuria. Estos fueron procesados en el Laboratorio Clínico de la Unidad Comunitaria de Salud Familiar de Moncagua, se calculó teóricamente el índice de filtración glomerular aplicando la fórmula de Cockcroft- Gault. Resultados: Se encontraron casos para los cinco estadios en donde el 33.7% se encontró con estadio 1 y 2, el 17.2% en estadio 3, 4 y 5. Se observó disminución del índice de filtración glomerular para los siguientes factores: Diabetes mellitus (63.6%), sin embargo el 28.6% no saben si son diabéticos; la población que consume mucha sal el 51.9% presenta disminución; el consumo de agua independientemente de la cantidad, alrededor de 40% a 50% presentan disminución. El 55.3% que trabajan bajo el sol y el 75% que trabaja a altas temperaturas presenta disminución del IFG. Conclusión: La prevalencia de Enfermedad Renal fue de 51.5% para esta población. Y se encontró el 39.4% con Enfermedad Renal oculta. ABSTRACT: The renal illness is a process or disorder, infectious, inflammatory, obstructive, vascular or neoplastic of the kidneys. The prevalence in our environment represent a very important percentage because it is a silence disease that in the last decade constitute the first cause of death. This study has as objective: determine the prevalence of renal illness in employed that work in the industrial factory AGAVE S.A. de C.V. Hacienda El Platanar, municipality of Moncagua, department of San Miguel. Methodology: The study was of prospective, cross-sectional, descriptive and of laboratory type; the population was formed by 200 workers of the AGAVE factory, who was requested to sign an informed consent form and it was gathered sample blood and of urine for make laboratory tests: serum creatinine and glycemia determination, general urine test, urine proteins with sulfosalicylic acid and microalbuminuria. These were processed in the clinical laboratory of community unit of family health Moncagua, it was calculated theoretically the glomerular filtration rate making use of Cockcroft-Gault formule. Results: cases were found for the five stage where 33.7% it was found with the stage 1 and 2, el 17.2% in the stage 3, 4 and 5. It is saw a glomerular filtration rate reduction for the following factors mellitus diabetes (63.6%), however 28.6% don’t know if they are diabetics; the population that consume to much salt 51.9% present reduction; water consumption (independently of the quantity) around 40% to 50% presented reduction. The 55.3% that worked under the sun and the 75% that work in high temperatures they present IFG reduction. Conclusion: the prevalence of renal illness was of 51.55% for this population.
