Precision calculation of the pi^- deuteron scattering length and its impact on threshold pi-N scattering
We present a calculation of the pi^- d scattering length with an accuracy of
a few percent using chiral perturbation theory. For the first time
isospin-violating corrections are included consistently. Using data on pionic
deuterium and pionic hydrogen atoms, we extract the isoscalar and isovector
pion-nucleon scattering lengths and obtain a^+=(7.6 +/- 3.1) x 10^{-3} mpi^{-1}
and a^-=(86.1 +/- 0.9) x 10^{-3} mpi^{-1}. Via the Goldberger-Miyazawa-Oehme
sum rule, this leads to a charged-pion-nucleon coupling constant g_c^2/4 pi =
13.69 +/- 0.20.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figures. Discussion of several points expanded, references

Observation of double radiative capture on pionic hydrogen
We report the first observation of double radiative capture on pionic
hydrogen. The experiment was conducted at the TRIUMF cyclotron using the RMC
spectrometer, and detected --ray coincidences following stops
in liquid hydrogen. We found the branching ratio for double radiative capture
to be . The measured
branching ratio and angle-energy distributions support the theoretical
prediction of a dominant contribution from the
annihilation mechanism.Comment: 4 Pages, 4 Figures. accepted for publication in Phys. Rev. Let
Role of heavy-meson exchange in pion production near threshold
Recent calculations of -wave pion production have severely underestimated
the accurately known \ total cross section near
threshold. In these calculations, only the single-nucleon axial-charge operator
is considered. We have calculated, in addition to the one-body term, the
two-body contributions to this reaction that arise from the exchange of mesons.
We find that the inclusion of the scalar -meson exchange current (and
lesser contributions from other mesons) increases the cross section by about a
factor of five, and leads to excellent agreement with the data. The results are
neither very sensitive to changes in the distorting potential that generates
the wave function, nor to different choices for the meson-nucleon form
factors. We argue that \ data provide direct
experimental evidence for meson-exchange contributions to the axial current.Comment: 28 Pages, IU-NTC #93-0
\pi\pi, K\pi and \pi N potential scattering and a prediction of a narrow \sigma meson resonance
Low energy scattering and bound state properties of the \pi N, \pi\pi and
K\pi systems are studied as coupled channel problems using inversion potentials
of phase shift data. In a first step we apply the potential model to explain
recent measurements of pionic hydrogen shift and width. Secondly, predictions
of the model for pionium lifetime and shift confirm a well known and widely
used effective range expression. Thirdly, as extension of this confirmation, we
predict an unexpected medium effect of the pionium lifetime which shortens by
several orders of magnitude. The \sigma meson shows a narrow resonance
structure as a function of the medium modified mass with the implication of
being essentially energy independent. Similarly, we see this medium resonance
effect realized for the K\pi system. To support our findings we present also
results for the \rho meson and the \Delta(1232) resonance.Comment: 42 pages, 17 PS figures, REFTeX, epsfig.sty needed, submitted to

Precision calculation of threshold pi^- d scattering, pi N scattering lengths, and the GMO sum rule
We use chiral perturbation theory (ChPT) to calculate the
scattering length with an accuracy of a few percent, including
isospin-violating corrections both in the two- and three-body sector. In
particular, we provide the technical details of a recent letter, where we used
data on pionic deuterium and pionic hydrogen atoms to extract the isoscalar and
isovector pion-nucleon scattering lengths and . We study
isospin-breaking contributions to the three-body part of due to
mass differences, isospin violation in the scattering lengths, and
virtual photons. This last class of effects is ostensibly infrared enhanced due
to the smallness of the deuteron binding energy. However, we show that the
leading virtual-photon effects that might undergo such enhancement cancel, and
hence the standard ChPT counting provides a reliable estimate of isospin
violation in due to virtual photons. Finally, we discuss the
validity of the Goldberger-Miyazawa-Oehme sum rule in the presence of isospin
violation, and use it to determine the charged-pion-nucleon coupling constant.Comment: 46 pages, 7 figures. Discussion of several points expanded,

Analysis and Suggestions for Business Model of eBayEachnet
第二章针对EBAY易趣商务模式,按照商业模式创新理论的层次,从商务模式环境、商务模式要素、...eBayEachnet and Taobao are main competitors in China’s E-commerce. eBayEachnet just took the lead in as earlier as year 2002, however, it was overwhelmed by Taobao and Paipai gradually, the leading was lost and the share market diminished very soon, as a result, it incorporated with Tom Online, a filial of Tom group limited company.Bearing in mind the theory of <Business Models Innovatio...学位:工商管理硕士院系专业:管理学院工商管理教育中心(MBA中心)_工商管理硕士(MBA)学号:20041523
