The electro production of d* dibaryon
dibaryon study is a critical test of hadron interaction models. The
electro production cross sections of have been calculated based on
the meson exchange current model and the cross section around 30 degree of 1
GeV electron in the laboratory frame is about 10 nb. The implication of this
result for the dibaryon search has been discussed.Comment: 12 pages, 12 figures, Late
Spin Information from Vector-Meson Decay in Photoproduction
For the photoproduction of vector mesons, all single and double spin
observables involving vector meson two-body decays are defined consistently in
the center of mass. These definitions yield a procedure for
extracting physically meaningful single and double spin observables that are
subject to known rules concerning their angle and energy evolution. As part of
this analysis, we show that measuring the two-meson decay of a photoproduced
or does not determine the vector meson's vector polarization, but
only its tensor polarization. The vector meson decay into lepton pairs is also
insensitive to the vector meson's vector polarization, unless one measures the
spin of one of the leptons. Similar results are found for all double spin
observables which involve observation of vector meson decay. To access the
vector meson's vector polarization, one therefore needs to either measure the
spin of the decay leptons, make an analysis of the background interference
effects or relate the vector meson's vector polarization to other accessible

Quantum Phase Transitions detected by a local probe using Time Correlations and Violations of Leggett-Garg Inequalities
In the present paper we introduce a way of identifying quantum phase
transitions of many-body systems by means of local time correlations and
Leggett-Garg inequalities. This procedure allows to experimentally determine
the quantum critical points not only of finite-order transitions but also those
of infinite order, as the Kosterlitz-Thouless transition that is not always
easy to detect with current methods. By means of simple analytical arguments
for a general spin- Hamiltonian, and matrix product simulations of
one-dimensional and anisotropic models, we argue that
finite-order quantum phase transitions can be determined by singularities of
the time correlations or their derivatives at criticality. The same features
are exhibited by corresponding Leggett-Garg functions, which noticeably
indicate violation of the Leggett-Garg inequalities for early times and all the
Hamiltonian parameters considered. In addition, we find that the infinite-order
transition of the model at the isotropic point can be revealed by the
maximal violation of the Leggett-Garg inequalities. We thus show that quantum
phase transitions can be identified by purely local measurements, and that
many-body systems constitute important candidates to observe experimentally the

Genetic identification and pedigree control on horses through microsatellite DNA sequences
Ponencia publicada en ITEA, vol.104El Laboratorio Central de Veterinaria de Algete (LCV) ha sido nombrado centro de referencia para la realización de análisis de marcadores genéticos y la homologación de las técnicas para la identificación y el control de filiación en équidos, con el fin de garantizar las genealogías de los animales inscritos en los libros genealógicos (Real Decreto 662/2007). A partir de ese momento, se ha desarrollado un protocolo de trabajo que cubre la totalidad de los pasos a seguir desde la recogida de muestras en el campo hasta la recepción final de los resultados por parte de la asociación de ganaderos. La metodología empleada utiliza los medios más avanzados y tiene establecidos una serie de puntos de control para poder detectar los errores que pudieran producirse tanto en la recogida de muestras como en la transmisión de la información que a éstas debe acompañar para su posterior análisis. La optimización de la metodología empleada posibilita procesar un número elevado de muestras en un corto espacio de tiempo con una gran fiabilidad en los resultados obtenidos. El análisis al que se someten las muestras incluye 18 marcadores microsatélite de ADN, amplificados en una reacción única de PCR, elegidos de la lista propuesta por la ISAG (Intenational Society for Animal Genetics). Se dispone, además, de dos paneles adicionales compuestos de 22 y 8 nuevos marcadores respectivamente, que son utilizados en los casos en que se necesita una mayor capacidad de exclusión o para llevar a cabo estudios de genealogías con datos de progenitores procedentes de otros laboratorios donde utilicen estos marcadores, algo bastante habitual en las razas equinas en las que existe gran movimiento de animales entre distintos países.Central Veterinary Laboratory of Algete (LCV) has been appointed as a referral center for the analysis of genetic markers and certification of techniques for the identification and genealogical control in horses, in order to guarantee the genealogies of the animals entered in studbooks (Royal Decree 662/2007). Since then, it has developed a working protocol covering all the steps to follow from the collection of samples in the field until receipt of the final results by the breeders’ association. The methodology uses the most advanced and has established a series of checkpoints in order to detect any errors that may occur in both the sample collection and transmission of information that must accompany them for later analysis. The optimization methodology enables to process a large number of samples in a short time with great reliability in the results. The analysis that the samples are submitted includes 18 microsatellite DNA markers, amplified in a single PCR reaction, chosen from the list proposed by the ISAG (International Society for Animal Genetics). It also provides two additional panels composed of 8 and 22 new markers, respectively, which are used in cases where there is a need for increased capacity of exclusion or to conduct studies pedigrees with data from parents from other laboratories where use these markers, which is quite common in horse races where there is great movement of animals between countries

R\'enyi Entropy Singularities as Signatures of Topological Criticality in Coupled Photon-Fermion Systems
We show that the topological phase transition for a Kitaev chain embedded in
a cavity can be identified by measuring experimentally accessible photon
observables such as the Fano factor and the cavity quadrature amplitudes.
Moreover, based on density matrix renormalization group numerical calculations,
endorsed by an analytical Gaussian approximation for the cavity state, we
propose a direct link between those observables and quantum entropy
singularities. We study two bipartite entanglement measures, the von Neumann
and R\'enyi entanglement entropies, between light and matter subsystems. Even
though both display singularities at the topological phase transition points,
remarkably only the R\'enyi entropy can be analytically connected to the
measurable Fano factor. Consequently, we show a method to recover the bipartite
entanglement of the system from a cavity observable. Thus, we put forward a
path to experimentally access the control and detection of a topological
quantum phase transition via the R\'enyi entropy, which can be measured by
standard low noise linear amplification techniques in superconducting circuits.
In this way, the main quantum information features of Majorana polaritons in

Roper Excitation in Alpha-Proton Scattering
We study the Roper excitation in the reaction. We consider
all processes which may be relevant in the Roper excitation region, namely,
Roper excitation in the target, Roper excitation in the projectile, and double
excitation processes. The theoretical investigation shows that the
Roper excitation in the proton target mediated by an isoscalar exchange is the
dominant mechanism in the process. We determine an effective isoscalar
interaction by means of which the experimental cross section is well
reproduced. This should be useful to make predictions in related reactions and
is a first step to construct eventually a microscopic
transition potential, for which the present reaction does not offer enough

Predictability of the large relaxations in a cellular automaton model
A simple one-dimensional cellular automaton model with threshold dynamics is
introduced. The cumulative distribution of the size of the relaxations is
analytically computed and behaves as a power law with an exponent equal to -1.
This coincides with the phenomenological Gutenberg-Richter behavior observed in
Seismology for the cumulative statistics of earthquakes at the regional or
global scale. The key point of the model is the zero-load state of the system
after the occurrence of any relaxation, no matter what its size. This leads to
an equipartition of probability between all possible load configurations in the
system during the successive loading cycles. Each cycle ends with the
occurrence of the greatest -or characteristic- relaxation in the system. The
duration of the cycles in the model is statistically distributed with a
coefficient of variation ranging from 0.5 to 1. The predictability of the
characteristic relaxations is evaluated by means of error diagrams. This model
illustrates the value of taking into account the refractory periods to obtain a
considerable gain in the quality of the predictions.Comment: A note has been added in which it is discussed the possible
