Terrain traficability is affected by many factors and terrain slope is one of them. Deceleration ratio that represents the influence of slope inclination is dependent on a technical attributes of vehicle. The results of field terrain tests suggest that deceleration ratio established via calculation does not have to correspond with practical experience

    Organoselenium Precursors for Atomic Layer Deposition

    Organoselenium compounds with perspective application as Se precursors for atomic layer deposition have been reviewed. The originally limited portfolio of available Se precursors such as H2Se and diethyl(di)selenide has recently been extended by bis trialkylsilyl)selenides, bis(trialkylstannyl)selenides, cyclic selenides, and tetrakis(N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamate)-selenium. Their structural aspects, property tuning, fundamental properties, and preparations are discussed. It turned out that symmetric four- and six-membered cyclic silyl selenides possess well-balanced reactivity/stability, facile and cost-effective synthesis starting from inexpensive and readily available chlorosilanes, improved resistance toward air and moisture, easy handling, sufficient volatility, thermal resistance, and complete gas-to-solid phase exchange reaction with MoCl5, affording MoSe2 nanostructures. These properties make them the most promising Se precursor developed for atomic layer deposition so far

    SAŽETAK U gotovo 50 godina od prve primjene, izvantjelesna potpora cirkulaciji postala je nezamjenjivim alatom u zbrinjavanju djece i odraslih s teškim zatajenjem srca i pluća refraktornim na konzervativno liječenje. Tijekom posljednjeg desetljeća prati se značajan porast primjene uređaja za izvantjelesnu membransku oksigenaciju u bolesnika svih dobnih skupina. Veća dostupnost uređaja i poboljšanje tehnologije doveli su do proširenja indikacija za njegovo korištenje. Bolesnik na izvantjelesnoj potpori cirkulaciji može biti podvrgnut hitnom kirurškom zahvatu ili dijagnostičko-terapijskim postupcima koji zahtijevaju prisutnost anesteziologa. Zbog protrombotskih svojstava uređaja, najveći klinički izazov jest pravilno titrirati lijekove za antikoagulaciju kako bi se komplikacije svele na najmanju razinu. Rizik od krvarenja i dalje je ograničavajući čimbenik za široku primjenu izvantjelesne potpore cirkulaciji. U ovom prikazu slučaja opisan je anesteziološki pristup mladiću priključenom na uređaj za izvantjelesnu membransku oksigenaciju, u kojega je bila indicirana žurna selektivna disekcija vrata. Cilj ovog rada jest uz primjer dati sažeti prikaz trenutnih spoznaja i preporuka za zbrinjavanje bolesnika anesteziolozima koji se u svojoj praksi rutinski ne susreću s uređajem za izvantjelesnu membransku oksigenaciju

    TUNING THE PHOTOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF PUSH-PULL AZAHETEROCYCLIC CHROMOPHORES BY PROTONATION: TOWARDS WHITE LIGHT EMISSION

    Conjugated push-pull molecules that incorporate nitrogen heterocycles as electronwithdrawing units are interesting materials because of their luminescence properties. These chromophores can be easily and reversibly protonated at the nitrogen atom of the heterocyclic ring and this can cause dramatic color changes. White and multi-color photoluminescence both in solution and in the solid state can be obtained by an accurate control of the amount of acid [1-6]. Thus, with a suitable design these compounds have potential applications in the development of colorimetric pH sensors and the fabrication of OLEDs based on only one material. We provide here a brief overview of our collaborative efforts made in this area with pyrimidine, pyridine and (iso)quinoline derivatives

    The centrifugal spinning of vitamin doped natural gum fibers for skin regeneration

    The study investigates the use of fiber carriers, based on biopolymeric gums as potential candidates for cosmetic and dermatological applications, in particular for skin regeneration. Gum arabic (GA), xanthan gum (XA), and gum karaya (GK) were used as the main gum materials for the fibers, which were prepared by centrifugal spinning from an aqueous solution. These solutions of different mass gum ratios were blended with poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) for better spinnability. Finally, vitamins E and C were added to selected solutions of gums. The resulting fibers were extensively investigated. The morphology and structure of all fibers were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy. Most importantly, they were characterized by the release of vitamin E loaded in the fibers using UV-VIS spectroscopy. The presentation will show that the newly prepared fibers from GA and PEO represent a very promising material for cosmetic and dermatologic applications

The tuning and structure–property relationships have been demonstrated on the particular A, π and D parts of the push–pull molecule. Special emphasis has been put on the tuning of the FMO levels and optical properties. Further prospective applications of the given chromophore have also been considered

    Small games - gobblet - draw strategy

    Diplomová práce se zabývá nalezením remizové strategie pro hru gobblet a provedením důkazu, že hra gobblet je remizová. Gobblet je desková hra pro dva hráče. V práci jsou popsány algoritmy, které byly pro důkaz remizovosti použity. Důkaz byl prováděn na zjednodušené variantě hry (omezené pouze na dva typy hracích kamenů). Pro tuto variantu hry byla nalezena remizová strategie; tato strategie byla ověřena pomocí uvedených algoritmů. Po provedení důkazu bylo přistoupeno ke složitejší variantě (omezení na tři druhy hracích kamenů). Pro tuto variantu se nepodařilo remizovost dokázat. Důvodem neúspěchu byl počet pozic, které hra obsahuje. Důkaz by se nedal v rozumném čase provést. Pro variantu hry se všemi typy hracích kamenů (4) důkaz prováděn nebyl. Práce pouze nastiňuje strategii, která měla být použita pro nalezení remizové strategie.This diploma thesis focuses on finding a draw strategy in the game "Gobblet" and on finding the proof that the game can be a guaranteed draw. "Gobblet" is a board game for two players. The thesis provides the description of algorithms used for finding the proof of the guaranteed draw. The proof was made on a simplified variety of the game (limited to two types of playing pieces only). For this variety of the game, a draw strategy was found; this strategy was confirmed by the means of the above mentioned algorithms. Then, a more complicated variety of the game was tested (limited to three types of playing pieces). For this variety, the proof of the guaranteed draw was not possible to find. The non-success was due to the number of positions the game provides. The proof would not have been possible to make in a reasonable time span. The comprehensive variety of the game (four playing pieces) was not tested for the proof.
