Ăvaluation de l'impact d'une plateforme interactive pour le dĂ©veloppement des compĂ©tences pratiques dans l'examen psychologique de l'enfant
Cette recherche vise Ă Ă©valuer lâimpact de lâutilisation dâune plateforme informatisĂ©e pour la formation des Ă©tudiants en psychologie. Ce dispositif permet dâentraĂźner les Ă©tudiants Ă lâadministration de tests avec des enfants, en sâappuyant sur des vidĂ©os de passation et des exercices pratiques. Les rĂ©sultats mesurĂ©s par des questionnaires (N = 100) ont montrĂ© une augmentation du sentiment de compĂ©tence et des performances aprĂšs la formation en ligne, avec des tailles dâeffet fortes. Ces rĂ©sultats, ainsi que la satisfaction Ă©voquĂ©e par les Ă©tudiants concernant lâutilisation de la plateforme, ont pu montrer un apport positif de lâutilisation dâoutils pĂ©dagogiques novateurs dans la formation universitaire en psychologie

Epitaxial lithium niobate thin films grown by chemical beam epitaxy on sapphire
Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) is a versatile material with a number of remarkable qualities. It finds application in optical modulators because of its electro-optic properties. Nonlinearity opens its use in bio-physical applications where particles or wires of LiNbO3 can be used as highly localized optical probes. Optical frequency conversion is another possible use, as well. One of the current commercial applications of the material is in optical modulators in telecomunication devices. Nowadays bulk crystals of the material are used. However, in order to make devices more compact and affordable it is necessary to be able to produce LiNbO3 films on suitable substrates with sufficient crystalline and optical quality
Characteristics and properties of nano-LiCoO2 synthesized by pre-organized single source precursors: Li-ion diffusivity, electrochemistry and biological assessment
Background: LiCoO2 is one of the most used cathode materials in Li-ion batteries. Its conventional synthesis requires high temperature (>800 degrees C) and long heating time (>24 h) to obtain the micronscale rhombohedral layered high-temperature phase of LiCoO2 ( HT-LCO). Nanoscale HT-LCO is of interest to improve the battery performance as the lithium (Li+) ion pathway is expected to be shorter in nanoparticles as compared to micron sized ones. Since batteries typically get recycled, the exposure to nanoparticles during this process needs to be evaluated. Results: Several new single source precursors containing lithium (Li+) and cobalt (Co2+) ions, based on alkoxides and aryloxides have been structurally characterized and were thermally transformed into nanoscale HT-LCO at 450 degrees C within few hours. The size of the nanoparticles depends on the precursor, determining the electrochemical performance. The Li-ion diffusion coefficients of our - LiCoO2 nanoparticles improved at least by a factor of 10 compared to commercial one, while showing good reversibility upon charging and discharging. The hazard of occupational exposure to nanoparticles during battery recycling was investigated with an in vitro multicellular lung model. Conclusions: Our heterobimetallic single source precursors allow to dramatically reduce the production temperature and time for HT-LCO. The obtained nanoparticles of LiCoO2 have faster kinetics for Li+ insertion/extraction compared to microparticles. Overall, nano-sized - LiCoO2 particles indicate a lower cytotoxic and (pro-)inflammogenic potential in vitro compared to their micron-sized counterparts. Antiretroviral-naive and -treated HIV-1 patients can harbour more resistant viruses in CSF than in plasma
Objectives The neurological disorders in HIV-1-infected patients remain prevalent. The HIV-1 resistance in plasma and CSF was compared in patients with neurological disorders in a multicentre study. Methods Blood and CSF samples were collected at time of neurological disorders for 244 patients. The viral loads were >50 copies/mL in both compartments and bulk genotypic tests were realized. Results On 244 patients, 89 and 155 were antiretroviral (ARV) naive and ARV treated, respectively. In ARV-naive patients, detection of mutations in CSF and not in plasma were reported for the reverse transcriptase (RT) gene in 2/89 patients (2.2%) and for the protease gene in 1/89 patients (1.1%). In ARV-treated patients, 19/152 (12.5%) patients had HIV-1 mutations only in the CSF for the RT gene and 30/151 (19.8%) for the protease gene. Two mutations appeared statistically more prevalent in the CSF than in plasma: M41L (Pâ=â0.0455) and T215Y (Pâ=â0.0455). Conclusions In most cases, resistance mutations were present and similar in both studied compartments. However, in 3.4% of ARV-naive and 8.8% of ARV-treated patients, the virus was more resistant in CSF than in plasma. Sex differences in cerebral venous sinus thrombosis after adenoviral vaccination against COVID-19
Introduction: Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis associated with vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (CVST-VITT) is a severe disease with high mortality. There are few data on sex differences in CVST-VITT. The aim of our study was to investigate the differences in presentation, treatment, clinical course, complications, and outcome of CVST-VITT between women and men. Patients and methods: We used data from an ongoing international registry on CVST-VITT. VITT was diagnosed according to the Pavord criteria. We compared the characteristics of CVST-VITT in women and men. Results: Of 133 patients with possible, probable, or definite CVST-VITT, 102 (77%) were women. Women were slightly younger [median age 42 (IQR 28â54) vs 45 (28â56)], presented more often with coma (26% vs 10%) and had a lower platelet count at presentation [median (IQR) 50x109/L (28â79) vs 68 (30â125)] than men. The nadir platelet count was lower in women [median (IQR) 34 (19â62) vs 53 (20â92)]. More women received endovascular treatment than men (15% vs 6%). Rates of treatment with intravenous immunoglobulins were similar (63% vs 66%), as were new venous thromboembolic events (14% vs 14%) and major bleeding complications (30% vs 20%). Rates of good functional outcome (modified Rankin Scale 0-2, 42% vs 45%) and in-hospital death (39% vs 41%) did not differ. Discussion and conclusions: Three quarters of CVST-VITT patients in this study were women. Women were more severely affected at presentation, but clinical course and outcome did not differ between women and men. VITT-specific treatments were overall similar, but more women received endovascular treatment.</p
