Caryophyllales is known as an order that has anomaly secondary growth. The anatomy of the carnation stem (Dianthus caryophyllus L.) was analyzed to obtain valid data on relationships with other family members. The primary structure of the stem, consists of epidermis composed of a layer of cells; cortex and pith are composed of parenchymal cells and have intercellular space; and the primary vascular tissue composed of the fingers consists of several tracheas of xylem, where the xylem is located on the inside and the phloem on the outside. Furthermore, in secondary growth, the stem has a normal structure with abnormal cambium activity. This is included in the characteristics of plants that have anomaly secondary growth. The results of this study can be used as a limiting character to strengthen the relationship between taxon, especially in the higher categoryOrdo Caryophyllales dikenal sebagai takson yang memiliki pertumbuhan sekunder anomaly.

Lima bean (Phaseolus lunatus L.) is a species of beans which originating from the regions of Central America and Andes Mountains. Lima bean in Timor Island is underutilized although these plant growth there and have many variations. This study aims to determine the diversity of lima beans on Timor Island based on morphological characters. Samples were collected by survey methods from three districts on the island of Timor. Morphological traits related to the vegetative and flowering stages and mature seeds morphology were scored using the International Plant Genetic Resources Institute lima bean descriptors with a soft modification. The similarity index is calculated using the General Similarity Coefficient Gower formula. The dendogram is generated from cluster analysis using the Unweighted Pair Group Methods using Arithmetic Average (UPGMA) method. Furthermore, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was used to determine the role of each morphological character used. The dendogram shows that 23 collected accessions are divided into two main clusters with a 57% similarity index. The two clusters are distinguished based on the presence or absence of secondary colors and secondary patterns in the seed organs. Then, each main cluster is divided into two subclasses based on the character of the pigmentation stem, the length of the terminal leaflets, flower color, and seed type

Marble is one of the industrial materials of high economic value and very beneficial to people's lives. Therefore, many explorations are done by mining companies. Exploitation of natural resources on a large scale without regard to the carrying capacity of the environment, can lead to drastic decline in the quality of the ecosystem. This is what happened in the post-mine forest area of Oenbit Village, North Central Timor District. This study aims to identify and calculate the abundance of plants and environmental factors that affect the plants in the post-marble area of Oenbit village. The method used is quadratic / plot method. The results showed that plant species with significant values above 80.00% were Anacardium occidentale L. (125.69%), Tamarindus indica L. (122.17%), Tectona grandis L.f (87.32%), and Schleichera oleosa (Lour .) Oken (82.67%). Abiotic environmental factors measured at the study sites are soil pH, soil moisture, air temperature, air humidity and light intensity. The results of these measurements showed no significant difference

Forest is one of the assets owned by the community around the forest. Forest destruction is a problem for communities around the forest who depend on available forest resources every day for their lives. The purpose of this research is to look at the dynamics of forest resource destruction and its control strategies. The model equation obtained is a system of non-linear differential equations, from the system then fixed point and Jacobi matrix are determined. From the analysis results, seven fixed points are obtained, then the Jacobi matrix is determined from each fixed point

The people of Dusun Banopo mostly work as farmers who produce a variety of agricultural products. One of the products produced is mung beans. The yield of bean sprouts is very good and plentiful, however the utilization of this product is still very low, especially in supporting family health and increasing family income. Most of the produce is sold immediately and a quarter of the harvested are usually left at home to be cooked with corn. Mung bean seeds can be germinated into bean sprouts which have a higher nutritional content and can be used as marketed products. This service activity was well received by the community, especially the women from the Women Farmers Group. This group gains knowledge and skills in making bean sprouts with media that can be taken from the surrounding environment. Besides being able to be used as a nutritious vegetable in improving family health, it can also marketed to increase family income
