From the revision and reflexive analysis of the course contents, in this written will be posed the approach made by the study group and it is about the violence of the armed conflict in Colombia, taking the image and narrative as a strategy. The analysis of the tale number 2 “Relato No. 2 Angelica” was selected by the study group in which some different paragraphs are studied and are identified experiences lived by Angelica during her displacement from her home site, her traumas, sadness, fears and desolation caused by different ways of violence which she and her daughters had to face. Based in the question posed, it made deeper from the psychosocial perspective features relative with her experiences through the narrative as an intervention strategy according to (White, 2016b, p. 29) When a psychosocial job is made with people who has suffered any psychological modification because of the violence, is imperative to be attentive and listen to them when they want to express their experience and become a therapy as a purpose for construction of their lives. Also in the story it can detect facts associated with the difficulties and fear, painful, rage experiences, the way that they understand and face the reality through the coping resources. The psychosocial effects are analyzed, the situation such as victim and survivor she assumes, the naturalized images of violence, the discursive emancipation, the alternates meaning of the dominant images of violence and the emergent psychosocial. Taking the role of psychologist in accordance with all the experiences posed in the selected story it is formulated 3 strategic questions, 3 circular questions and 3 reflexive questions. Understanding the questions as a kind of intervention in which people can examine their situation and reflex in a positive way for recover their lives. Regarding to the interrogation, the group analyze the “Cacarica” case and create 3 strategies of psychosocial accompaniment based in the psychosocial focus, narrative, expressive and performative technics the report of the step 2, the conclusions and the link of the Wix page. Doxycycline, a semi-synthetic tetracycline, is a widely used antibiotic for mild-to-moderate infections. However, its pleiotropic effects, such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, combined with its ability to interfere with α-synuclein inhibiting its aggregation, make it an attractive candidate for repositioning in Parkinson's disease treatment. Nevertheless, the antibiotic activity of doxycycline restricts its potential for long-term treatment of Parkinsonian patients. Eighteen novel doxycycline derivatives were designed with substitution at C9. Specifically, the dimethyl-amino group at C4 was reduced to significantly diminish the antibiotic activity, and several coupling reactions were performed at position C9 of the D ring. Using biophysical models, we found that seven compounds were more effective than the parent compound in inhibiting α-synuclein aggregation. Furthermore, two of these derivatives exhibited better anti-inflammatory effects at non-cytotoxic concentrations on microglial cell culture. Thus, we identified two design-based tetracyclines as the most promising candidates for further preclinical investigations. In addition, our study provides new insights into the structure-activity relationship of tetracyclines as neuroprotective molecules

Vineyard-derived pomace is a byproduct of the wine industry that can have a negative impact on the environment if it is only disposed of or used as a fertilizer. Owing to its polyphenol content, grape pomace is an alternative to biocontrol undesirable microorganisms. In the present study, we characterized the phenolic composition of red and white grape pomace from Valles Calchaquíes, Argentina, and explored its activity against Leishmania (Leishmania) amazonensis, an etiological agent of American tegumentary leishmaniasis, a neglected endemic disease in northern Argentina. Red and white pomace extracts similarly reduced Leishmania viability after a 48-h treatment, with the fractions containing a higher proportion of phenolic compounds being more active. Both extracts stimulated ATPase activity on the parasite plasma membranes, with white grape pomace having a stronger effect than red grape pomace. In addition, the extracts displayed fairly good anticholinesterase activity, which may have contributed to their anti-Leishmania activity. These results reinforce the potential applicability of grape pomace as an antimicrobial agent for the development of biopesticides.Fil: Salazar, Paula Belén. Protective Efficacy of the Epitope-Conjugated Antigen N-Tc52/TSkb20 in Mitigating Trypanosoma cruzi Infection through CD8+ T-Cells and IFNγ Responses

Chagas disease, caused by the protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi, remains a major public health challenge affecting millions in Latin America and worldwide. Although significant progress has been made in vector control, no vaccine exists to prevent infection or mitigate disease pathogenesis. We developed a rationally designed chimeric protein vaccine, N-Tc52/TSkb20, incorporating immunodominant epitopes from two T. cruzi antigens, the amino-terminal portion of Tc52 and the TSkb20 epitope derived from trans-sialidase. The objectives of this study were to construct and characterize the antigen and evaluate its protective potential in an immunoprophylactic murine model of T. cruzi infection. The N-Tc52/TSkb20 protein was recombinantly expressed in E. coli and its identity was confirmed using mass spectrometry and Western blotting. Immunization with the chimeric protein significantly controlled parasitemia and reduced the heart, colon, and skeletal muscle parasite burdens compared to non-vaccinated mice. Protection was superior to vaccination with the individual parental antigen components. Mechanistically, the vaccine induced potent CD8+ T-cell and IFNγ responses against the incorporated epitopes and a protective IgG antibody profile. A relatively low IL-10 response favored early parasite control. These results validate the promising multi-epitope approach and support the continued development of this type of rational vaccine design strategy against Chagas disease
