Search for decay at Super factory
A Monte Carlo study of possible background processes in a search for decay has been performed for conditions of the Super
factory (CTF) (at a center-of-mass energy 3.686 GeV, 3.77 GeV and 4.17 GeV).
The background from events has been analysed. Selection
criteria for background suppression are suggested and necessary requirements on
the detector characteristics have been found. The CTF can successfully compete
with the Super B-factory in a search for decay.Comment: 3 pages, 1 figures; contribution to the Proceedings of the PHIPSI11

Novosibirsk hadronic currents for tau -> 4pi channels of tau decay library TAUOLA
The new parameterization of form factors developed for 4pi channels of the
tau lepton decay and based on Novosibirsk data on e^+e^- -> 4pi has been coded
in a form suitable for the TAUOLA Monte Carlo package. Comparison with results
from TAUOLA using another parameterization, i.e. the CLEO version of 1998 is
also included.Comment: 19 pages, 21 figures, LaTe
High Precision Mass Measurements in and Families Revisited
High precision mass measurements in and families performed
in 1980-1984 at the VEPP-4 collider with OLYA and MD-1 detectors are revisited.
The corrections for the new value of the electron mass are presented. The
effect of the updated radiative corrections has been calculated for the
and mass measurements.Comment: 5 pages, 1 table, submitted to Phys. Lett.
Measurement of omega meson parameters in pi^+pi^-pi^0 decay mode with CMD-2
About 11 200 e^+e^- -> omega -> pi^+pi^-pi^0 events selected in the center of
mass energy range from 760 to 810 MeV were used for the measurement of the
\omega meson parameters. The following results have been obtained: sigma
_{0}=(1457 \pm 23 \pm 19)nb, m_{\omega}=(782.71 \pm 0.07 \pm 0.04) MeV/c^{2},
\Gamma_{\omega}=(8.68 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.10) MeV,
\Gamma_{e^+e^-}\cdot Br (\omega -> pi^+pi^-pi^0)=
(0.528 \pm 0.012 \pm 0.007) \cdot 10^{-3} MeV.Comment: 8 pages, 4 figure
Cross section of the reaction below 1 GeV at CMD-2
Using 3.07 of data collected in the energy range 0.60-0.97 GeV by
CMD-2, about 150 events of the process \epm \to \pch have been selected. The
energy dependence of the cross section agrees with the assumption of the
intermediate state which is dominant above 1 GeV. For the first
time \fourpi events are observed at the meson energy. Under the
assumption that all these events come from the meson decay, the value of
the cross section at the meson peak corresponds to the following decay
width:
\Gamma(\rho^0 \to \fourpi) = (2.8 \pm 1.4 \pm 0.5) {keV} or to the branching
ratio
B(\rho^0 \to \fourpi) = (1.8 \pm 0.9 \pm 0.3) \cdot 10 ^{-5}.Comment: 15 pages, 5 figure
Semileptonic decays and Charmonium distribution amplitude
In this paper we study the semileptonic decays of the meson in the
Light-Cone Sum Rule (LCSR) approach. The result for each channel depends on the
corresponding distribution amplitude of the final meson. For the case of
decaying into a pseudoscalar meson, to twist-3 accuracy only the leading twist
distribution amplitude (DA) is involved if we start from a chiral current. If
we choose a suitable chiral current in the vector meson case, the main twist-3
contributions are also eliminated and we can consider the leading twist
contribution only. The leading twist distribution amplitudes of the charmonium
and other heavy mesons are given by a model approach in the reasonable way.
Employing this charmonium distribution amplitude we find the cross section
which is consistent with Belle
and BaBar's data. Based on this model, we calculate the form factors for
various decay modes in the corresponding regions. Extrapolating the form
factors to the whole kinetic regions, we get the decay widths and branching
ratios for various decay modes including their modes when they are
kinematically accessible.Comment: Changed content partially, Added references, 16 pages,2 figure
Measurement of (1020) meson leptonic width with CMD-2 detector at VEPP-2M Collider
The (1020) meson leptonic width has been determined from the combined
analysis of 4 major decay modes of the resonance () studied with the CMD-2 detector at
the VEPP-2M collider. The following value has been obtained:
keV.
The meson parameters in four main decay channels have been also
recalculated: , , , .Comment: 14 pages, 3 figure
Study of Bc --> J/psi pi, etac pi decays with perturbative QCD approach
The Bc --> J/psi pi, etac pi decays are studied with the perturbative QCD
approach. It is found that form factors and branching ratios are sensitive to
the parameters w, v, f_J/psi and f_etac, where w and v are the parameters of
the charmonium wave functions for Coulomb potential and harmonic oscillator
potential, respectively, f_J/psi and f_etac are the decay constants of the
J/psi and etac mesons, respectively. The large branching ratios and the clear
signals of the final states make the Bc --> J/psi pi, etac pi decays to be the
prospective channels for measurements at the hadron collidersComment: 21 pages, revtex
Study of the Process e+ e- --> omega pi0 --> pi0 pi0 gamma in c.m. Energy Range 920--1380 MeV at CMD-2
The cross section of the process e+ e- --> omega pi0 --> pi0 pi0 gamma has
been measured in the c.m. energy range 920-1380 MeV with the CMD-2 detector.
Its energy dependence is well described by the interference of the rho(770) and
rho'(1450) mesons decaying to omega pi0. Upper limits for the cross sections of
the direct processes e+ e- --> pi0 pi0 gamma, eta pi0 gamma have been set.Comment: Accepted for publication in PL
Study of KS KL Coupled Decays and KL -Be Interactions with the CMD-2 Detector at VEPP-2M Collider
The integrated luminosity about 4000 inverse nanobarn of around phi meson
mass ( 5 millions of phi mesons) has been collected with the CMD-2 detector at
the VEPP-2M collider. A latest analysis of the KS KL coupled decays based on 30
% of available data is presented in this paper.
The KS KL pairs from phi meson decays were reconstructed in the drift chamber
when both kaons decayed into two charged particles. From a sample of 1423
coupled decays a selection of candidates to the CP violating KL into pi+ pi-
decay was performed. CP violating decays were not identified because of the
domination of events with a KL regenerating at the Be beam pipe into KS and a
background from KL semileptonic decays.
The regeneration cross section of 110 MeV/c KL mesons was found to be 53 +-
17 mb in agreement with theoretical expectations. The angular distribution of
KS mesons after regeneration and the total cross section of KL for Be have been
measured.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figure
