Multilevel Clustering Fault Model for IC Manufacture
A hierarchical approach to the construction of compound distributions for
process-induced faults in IC manufacture is proposed. Within this framework,
the negative binomial distribution is treated as level-1 models. The
hierarchical approach to fault distribution offers an integrated picture of how
fault density varies from region to region within a wafer, from wafer to wafer
within a batch, and so on. A theory of compound-distribution hierarchies is
developed by means of generating functions. A study of correlations, which
naturally appears in microelectronics due to the batch character of IC
manufacture, is proposed. Taking these correlations into account is of
significant importance for developing procedures for statistical quality
control in IC manufacture. With respect to applications, hierarchies of yield
means and yield probability-density functions are considered.Comment: 10 pages, the International Conference "Micro- and Nanoelectronics-

The Main Approaches to the Concept and Types of Charges in the Russian Criminal Process
The subject of this study is the institute of prosecution in domestic criminal proceedings. In the first part of the article, the author explores the concept of accusation. Approaches are considered in which the accusation was identified both with a criminal suit and with criminal prosecution. The second part of the presented work is devoted to the types of charges and the criteria for their differentiation. A summary analysis of the positions of modern, Soviet and pre-revolutionary researchers of law on this issue is given. Various types of charges are considered depending on the subject entitled to its implementation. Particular attention is paid to the so-called public prosecution, which was supported by citizens who were not endowed with this right ex officio. Based on the study, the author comes to the conclusion that the adversarial model of the criminal process is characterized by the presence of various types of charges, as well as various subjects entitled to its implementation. At the moment, in the Russian criminal process there is a so-called “prosecutor’s monopoly” on the prosecution, which is somewhat limited by the presence of a private prosecution. However, a small number of offenses classified as private prosecution, as well as the number of criminal cases in this category considered by the courts, does not change the existing paradigm. Thus, the existing procedure does not fully correspond to the adversarial model of the criminal process
Search for the Radiative Capture d+d->^4He+\gamma Reaction from the dd\mu Muonic Molecule State
A search for the muon catalyzed fusion reaction dd --> ^4He +\gamma in the
dd\mu muonic molecule was performed using the experimental \mu CF installation
TRITON and NaI(Tl) detectors for \gamma-quanta. The high pressure target filled
with deuterium at temperatures from 85 K to 800 K was exposed to the negative
muon beam of the JINR phasotron to detect \gamma-quanta with energy 23.8 MeV.
The first experimental estimation for the yield of the radiative deuteron
capture from the dd\mu state J=1 was obtained at the level n_{\gamma}\leq
2\times 10^{-5} per one fusion.Comment: 9 pages, 3 Postscript figures, submitted to Phys. At. Nuc
Historical Memory And Cultural Immunity Of Society As Resources Of The Transformation Of The Culture Of Education
This paper problematizes the current state of historical memory and cultural immunity as a cross-development trend in the field of education, noting that sociocultural thought has focused on understanding of historical memory and cultural immunity as parallel processes, and the transformation of the culture of education is described in relation to a new information reality, which gives rise to the dehistorization of the field of education. The author of the paper believes that the adoption of social and resource methodological schemes brings hope to get the answers for the two important aspects: first, cultural space of the educational society in the analysis of the effects of the wearable information technologies, and, in this regard, the degree of influence of historical memory and cultural immunity, second, the aspect that can be described as “specific” in the educational culture of Russian society, in which the “language” of globalization is translated into the culture-historical context of national education
Cluster observations of the midaltitude cusp under strong northward interplanetary magnetic field
We report on a multispacecraft cusp observation lasting more than 100 min. We
determine the cusp boundary motion and reveal the effect on the cusp size of the
interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) changing from southward to northward. The cusp
shrinks at the beginning of the IMF rotation and it reexpands at the rate of 0.40°
invariant latitude per hour under stable northward IMF. On the basis of plasma signatures
inside the cusp, such as counterstreaming electrons with balanced fluxes, we propose
that pulsed dual lobe reconnection operates during the time of interest. SC1 and
SC4 observations suggest a long-term regular periodicity of the pulsed dual reconnection,
which we estimate to be ~1–5 min. Further, the distances from the spacecraft to
the reconnection site are estimated on the basis of observations from three satellites. The
distance determined using SC1 and SC4 observations is ~15 RE and that determined
from SC3 data is ~8 RE. The large-scale speed of the reconnection site sunward motion is
~16 km s-1. We observe also a fast motion of the reconnection site by SC1, which
provides new information about the transitional phase after the IMF rotation. Finally, a
statistical study of the dependency of plasma convection inside the cusp on the IMF clock
angle is performed. The relationship between the cusp stagnation, the dual lobe
reconnection process, and the IMF clock angle is discussed
