Thesis deals with the process of liquidation of corporations in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to describe the procedure of liquidation and to point out some possible problems that could occur during liquidation. The legal and tax point view of the topic will also be included. Thesis is divided into 4 main chapters. Different legal forms of the corporations and the ways of dissolution of companies are defined in the first chapter. The second chapter pursues the process of liquidation. One part of this chapter is devoted to activities of the liquidator. The person of the liquidator, including his competences and required skills, is described in the third chapter. The last chapter is focused on practical problems concerning the process of liquidation.119 - Katedra právavelmi dobř

Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq)Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES)Hedyosmum brasiliense Miq. is an endemic aromatic arborescent shrub that is the only representative of the Chloranthaceae in Brazil. There have been few studies seeking to determine its chemical constituents and/or pharmacological effects. This work describes the isolation and identification of sesquiterpene lactones from the leaves, including guaianolides, elemanolides and a lindenanolide. These were tested against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, together with podoandin, onoseriolide and some other common phenolics. The structures of the isolated compounds were determined based on extensive analysis of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic and MS data, as well as comparison with published data. The compounds found were the guaianolides, 1,2-epoxy-10 alpha-hydroxy-podoandin and 1-hydroxy-10,15-methylenepodoandin, the elemenolide 15-acetoxy-isogermafurenolide and the lindenanolide 8 alpha/beta,9 alpha-hydroxy-onoseriolide, along with the previously isolated guaianolide podoandin, the lindenanolide onoseriolide and the elemenolide 15-hydroxy-isogermafurenolide. The phenolic compounds isolated were scopoletin, vanillin, vanillic acid, protocatechuic aldehyde and ethyl caffeate. The isolated sesquiterpene lactones did not show anti-mycobacterial activity against isoniazid-sensitive M. tuberculosis cultures at concentrations of 1-30 mu M. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. Preliminary studies of alternative feed additives for broilers: Alternanthera brasiliana extract, propolis extract and linseed oil

    No full text
The influence of alternative treatments using fluidextracts of Alternanthera brasiliana, propolis resin and linseed oil on the performance and blood biochemistry of broilers was evaluated. The study was done with five treatments: basal diet (negative control); basal diet + 40 ppm avylamicin and 120 ppm monensin (positive control); basal diet + A. brasiliana extract (180 mL/200 kg of feed); basal diet + propolis extract (200 mL/200 kg of feed) and basal diet + linseed oil (2.5% replacing soybean oil). Propolis and A. brasiliana extracts improved broiler performance from 14 to 21 days, whereas linseed oil had no effect. The findings of this experiment revealed that A. brasiliana and propolis extracts can be used as antimicrobials, but further studies are necessary to find the best concentration in broiler diets

The value of universally available raw NMR data for transparency, reproducibility, and integrity in natural product research

Covering: up to 2018 With contributions from the global natural product (NP) research community, and continuing the Raw Data Initiative, this review collects a comprehensive demonstration of the immense scientific value of disseminating raw nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data, independently of, and in parallel with, classical publishing outlets. A comprehensive compilation of historic to present-day cases as well as contemporary and future applications show that addressing the urgent need for a repository of publicly accessible raw NMR data has the potential to transform natural products (NPs) and associated fields of chemical and biomedical research. The call for advancing open sharing mechanisms for raw data is intended to enhance the transparency of experimental protocols, augment the reproducibility of reported outcomes, including biological studies, become a regular component of responsible research, and thereby enrich the integrity of NP research and related fields
