Two species of the genera Aetholaimus Williams, 1962 and Ironus Bastian, 1865 from the remote eastern Caprivi, show some remarkable morphological features, which are presenled here In photomicrographs, Aetholaimus trochus n.sp. can be distinguished from all other species within the genus by its long body, long prerectum, long mural tooth, short odontophore and presence of males.
