    Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan mata kuliah wajib yang harus ditempuh oleh setiap mahasiswa prodi kependidikan di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Tujuan diadakannya serangkaian kegiatan PPL di sekolah merupakan sebuah usaha pembaharuan dan peningkatan di bidang keguruan untuk mendukung kompetensi calon guru yang profesional. Di samping itu program PPL diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan wawasan mahasiswa calon guru sehingga lebih siap dan tangguh dalam penyeleseian berbagai permasalahan kependidikan, serta bentuk pelaksanaan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi, yakni pengabdian pada masyarakat sekolah. Sebelum melakukan kegiatan PPL, mahasiswa praktikan harus menempuh serangkaian prosedur yang berlaku terlebih dahulu, yaitu: harus lulus mata kuliah wajib Micro Teaching (Pengajaran Mikro), observasi kelas, observasi lingkungan sekolah, serta mengikuti pembekalan yang diadakan jurusan masing-masing mahasiswa. Sedangkan tahap akhir dari kegiatan PPL merupakan penyusunan Laporan Kegiatan PPL. Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta tahun 2015 yang berlokasi di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, mulai dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 Agustus 2015 sampai dengan tanggal 12 September 2015. Dalam Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan ini mahasiswa praktikan melakukan kegiatan mengajar baik yang bersifat terbimbing maupun yang bersifat mandiri. Program mengajar menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan juga praktik. Hasil dari kegiatan PPL, yaitu praktik mengajar sebanyak minimal 6 kali tatap muka. Dalam hal ini praktikan memperoleh kesempatan mengajar di kelas X TKJ dan X Akuntansi. Adapun beberapa hambatan pada waktu mengajar yaitu pengelolaan kelas karena sebagian siswa sulit dikondisikan. Akan tetapi praktikan selalu berusaha mengatasi agar kegiatan PPL tetap terlaksana dengan baik. Dengan adanya kegiatan PPL ini, praktikan mendapat bekal pangalaman dan gambaran yang nyata tentang kegiatan dalam dunia pendidikan. Adanya kerjasama, kerja keras, dan disiplin, akan sangat mendukung terlaksananya program-program PPL dengan baik. Dengan terselesaikanya kegiatan PPL UNY 2015 ini diharapkan dapat terciptanya tenaga pendidik yang profesional dan berkualitas. Kata Kunci: PPL, siswa, SMK, TKJ, Akuntans

    [The Concept of Practicing with Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah from Manhaj of Hadith Scholars]Konsep Berpegang Kepada Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah Menurut Manhaj Ahli Hadis

    Al-Quran (The holy book of Islam) and al-Sunnah (precepts and practice of the Prophet Muhammad) are two primary sources of information for Muslims that explain Akidah and Syariah point of view. The problem occurred when Muslims acclaimed and believed that these two sources are the guidance for them but they are still arguing and in dispute about certain things that lead to different belief of Akidah and Syariah. The questions rose, what is the correct way of practicing with al-Quran and al-Sunnah? This article discusses the real concept of practicing with al-Quran and al-Sunnah from Manhaj (tools, platform) of hadith scholars, those who have the authority and ultimate understanding about the sources. The document analysis method is used to gain the detailed information. The result indicates that the scholars possess clear method to understand al-Quran and al-Sunnah. The research also discovered three (3) main principles in practicing with al-Quran and al-sunnah which are; Al-Quran and al-Sunnah that Jawami’ al-Kalim, permanent and perfect and the last one is that lead to knowledge and practice.   Keyword: Al-Quran, Al-Sunnah, Manhaj, Hadith Scholar

    Data mining reduction methods and performances of rules

    In data mining the accuracy of models are associated with the strength of the rules.However, most machine learning techniques produce a large number of rules.The consequence is with large number of rules generated,processing time is much longer. This study examines rules of different lengths of attributes in terms of performance based on percentage of accuracy. The research adopts the Knowledge Discovery in Databases “KDD” methodology for analysis and applies various data mining techniques in the experiments.Data of 50 hardware dataset companies which, contains 31 attributes and 400 records have been used. In summary, results show that in terms of performance of rules, Genetic Algorithm has produced the highest number of rules followed by Johnson’s Algorithm and Holte’s 1R.The best classifier for extracting rules in this study is VOT (Voting of Object Tracking).In terms of performance of rules, best results comes from rules with 30 attributes, followed by rules with 1 intersection attribute and lastly rules with 3 intersection attributes. Among the three sets of attributes, the 3 intersection attributes are considered as the attributes that can be used as predictor attributes

    The Effect Of Organizational Culture On Turnover Intention In Private Universities In Afghanistan

    This study's primary goal is to investigate the link between organizational culture and the variables that affect an employee's decision to quit their present position at Private universities. Employee turnover still is a major problem for companies since it is highly expensive from the organization's perspective and has a substantial negative impact. The majority of the explanations that are mentioned in the literature are conservative views of traditional causes, including sociological and psychological organizational behavior. Organizational culture is one of the traditional factors of voluntary turnover that has been studied but still requires attention. This paper examined how organizational culture affects professional University staff’s intentions to leave private Universities. To determine the connection and impact between the independent and dependent variables, correlation and regression analyses were used. The results demonstrate that Type B adhocracy culture predominated in private Universities. The findings showed that there is just one sort of organizational culture that affects intention to leave: Type A Clan culture, it is also shown that this type of organizational culture has a significant and positive effect on voluntary turnover intention among University staff. This discovery may be used by decision-makers and other interested parties that need to find a means to stop professional University employees from quitting on their own and create an organizational culture or policy to keep them employed in private Universities

    Adaptive User Interfaces have a long history rooted in the emergence of such eminent technologies as Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Graphical User Interface, JAVA, Internet, and Mobile Services. More specifically, the advent and advancement of the Web and Mobile Learning Services has brought forward adaptivity as an immensely important issue for both efficacy and acceptability of such services. The success of such a learning process depends on the intelligent context-oriented presentation of the domain knowledge and its adaptivity in terms of complexity and granularity consistent to the learner’s cognitive level/progress. Researchers have always deemed adaptive user interfaces as a promising solution in this regard. However, the richness in the human behavior, technological opportunities, and contextual nature of information offers daunting challenges. These require creativity, cross-domain synergy, cross-cultural and cross-demographic understanding, and an adequate representation of mission and conception of the task.     Three dimensional craniofacial morphometrics: analysis of malay cleft lip and palate infants

    Three dimensional craniofacial morphometry was investigated in a sample of 29 cleft lip and palate (CLP) infants aged between 0-12 months. They were compared with 12 non-cleft (NC) infants in the same age group. Every one of them undeiWent CT scan procedure to obtain three dimensional data. This data was then measured in PERSONA software, developed by the Australian Craniofacial Unit, Adelaide. Significant differences in the craniofacial-cervical morphology of infants with CLP compared with NC infants were noted as well as the differences between affected males and females. However these differences need to be further recognized in the future since they can improve our understanding of developmental associations in CLP and also assist in the management of individuals with CLP

    Nowadays, home shopping has become one of the interactive ways to shop. There are various methods that customers may use to make purchases and one of the methods is through the Internet. This study adapted SERVQUAL dimensions into E-SERVQUAL which consisting of 5 most highlighted dimensions in the previous studies. The 5 dimensions of E-SERVQUAL are efficiency, fulfilment, security, aesthetic and responsiveness. The study will identify the relationship and how the dimensions will affect the online purchase intention of CJ Wow Shop customers. The responses was gathered from 101 customers of CJ Wow Shop, responding to the items based on their previous experiences. The result obtained from the survey was that they were positively agreed on most of the statements from each dimension. The result indicated that there are significant positive relationship between E-SERVQUAL dimensions with online purchase intentions. Among all dimensions, website efficiency and website security has the positive relationship with online purchase intentions and at the same time summarizing good response from the customers showing that they have experienced the efficiency and security through their purchasing journey on CJ Wow Shop website. Thus, only 37% of variance was determined for the independent variables to represent the online purchase intentions
