    Worship is not just liturgy. More than that, worship has a close relationship between God and humans and humans with each other. In worship, it has an impact on the Christian life. The Apostle Paul in his writings outlines the importance of worship from the viewpoint of the church and the servant of God. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of worship according to 1 Timothy and how the congregation applies the meaning of worship. This article is a qualitative study of the meaning of worship according to Chapter 1 Timothy. By approaching the descriptive analysis method so as to get a clear picture through data obtained from the church of GPdI Keerom Barat.AbstrakIbadah bukan hanya sekedar sebuah liturgi. Lebih dari pada itu, ibadah memiliki hubungan yang erat relasi antara Allah dengan manusia dan manusia dengan sesama. Di dalam beribadatan mengandung dampak bagi kehidupan kekristenan. Rasul Paulus di dalam tulisannya menguraikan pentingnya ibadah dari sudut pandang jemaat dan pelayan Tuhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan makna ibadah menurut 1 Timotius dan bagaiaman jemaat mengaplikasikan makna ibadah tersebut. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif tentang makna ibadah menurut Surat 1 Timotius.     All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) adalah sebuah kendaraan dengan penggerak mesin menggunakan motor bakar, mengunakan pula rangka khusus yang dirancang sedemikian rupa untuk dapat melintas di segala medan. ATV merupakan perpaduan antara motor roda dua dan mobil yang keduanya memiliki kelebihan masing-masing pada saat melintas di medan sulit. Pada mulanya ATV hanya digunakan oleh para pemilik perkebunan untuk alat transportasi mereka, tapi seiring dengan perkembangan jaman ATV dapat digunakan untuk banyak kegiatan di dunia otomotif seperti balap, motor penjelajah alam, kendaraan operasional tim SAR atau di Indonesia banyak disewakan untuk kegiatan lintas alam ditempat wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sudut belokan yang maksimalkan alat penggembur tanah saat di bebani. Dari analisa serta pengujian yang dilakukan maka grafik efektif belok (kanan dan kiri) terlihat sudut efektif akan semakin membesar dimana kecepatan (rpm) yang semakin rendah. Pembesaran sudut efektif yang lebih besar terjadi pada kecepatan 1000 rpm dengan sudut 380 dan sudut efektif yang lebih kecil terjadi pada kecepatan 5000 rpm dengan sudut 340

    Synthesis and Optical Properties of Highly Stabilized Peptide- Coated Silver Nanoparticles

    The interaction between the silver nanoparticle and peptide surfaces has been of increased interest for the applications of bionanotechnology and tissue engineering. In order to completely understand such interactions, we have examined the optical properties of peptide-coated silver nanoparticles. However, the effect of peptide binding motif upon the silver nanoparticles surface characteristics and physicochemical properties of these nanoparticles remains incompletely understood. Here, we have fabricated sodium citrate stabilized silver nanoparticles and coated with peptide IVD (ID3). The optical properties of these peptide-capped nanomaterials were characterized by UV-visible, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and z-potential measurement. The results indicate that the interface of silver nanoparticles (AgNP)-peptide is generated using ID3 peptide and suggested that the reactivity of peptide is governed by the conformation of the bound peptide on the silver nanoparticle surface. The interactions of peptide-nanoparticle would potentially be used to fabricate specific functionality into the various peptide-capped nanomaterials and antibacterial applications

    ANTIOXIDANT AND HEPATOPROTECTIVE ACTIVITY OF ABELMOSCHUS MANIHOT L. MEDIK LEAF FRACTION AGAINST CCL4-INDUCED LIVER DAMAGE IN RATS

    Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the antioxidant and hepatoprotective activity of Abelmoschus manihot L. Medik (AMLM) leaves in carbon tetrachloride-induced liver damage in rats (Rattus norvegicus). Methods: Samples of dried leaf were macerated using 96% ethanol solvent to obtain a viscous extract. Fractionation was then performed using ethyl acetate and n-butanol solvent. The antioxidant activity test of each fraction was done by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl assay. For the hepatoprotective activity test, the fractions were suspended in Tween 20 0.4% solution with concentrations of 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL. Rats were divided into 6 treatment groups consisting of five rats/group. Group I (positive control) was given an oral suspension of Curcuma® tablet, Group II (negative control) was given Tween 20 0.4% solution, and Groups III and IV (ethyl acetate fraction) and V and VI (n-butanol fraction) were given fraction suspension. On the 1st–7th days, all groups were given the solution treatment, and on the 8th day, all groups were injected with CCl4 intraperitoneally and the treatment was continued until the 11th day. On the 12th day, the blood of rats was taken and then measured the serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) and serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT). Results: The results of the antioxidant test showed that ethyl acetate and n-butanol fraction, respectively, had IC50 of 89.99 and 114.56 ppm.Measurement of SGOT showed the result for Groups I–VI, respectively, of 160±63.62, 260.53±18.98, 154.16±52.78, 177.43±13.70, 120.07±34.80, and 105.23±40.49 IU/L. Measurement of SGPT showed the result for Groups I–VI, respectively, of 101.87±29.24, 108.1±9.04, 57.73±49.05, 106.07±26.45, 66.9±20.05, and 146.63±84.89 UI/L. Conclusion: The results of this research indicated that the ethyl acetate and n-butanol fraction of AMLM leaves have the antioxidant andhepatoprotective activity

    Creativity in the entertainment industry especially animated film industry that uses stop motion technique is still low. This is evident from the few number of animated films with stop motion techniques that have been produced. This paper aims to improve the understanding of stop motion animation material. The subjects of the study were taken from case study in class XI Multimedia 2 SMKN 1 Dlanggu 2016/2017 academic year number of 30 students. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The pattern of research is to improve the understanding of how to create an animated scene using pieces of drawing paper arranged in such a way. By going through the editing process using 2-dimensional animation processing software and applications on android, stop motion camera. From the results of research that is obtained because the process of complexity and requires a high resilience in making animation with the technique, causing the tendency of students just do it so careless that the film images obtained can not be maximized. The conclusion of the research is to use the media of the drawing paper will improve the understanding of stop motion animation material on the students of class XI Multimedia 2 SMKN 1 Dlanggu 2016/2017 academic year number of 30 students

    Intervention strategies for the reduction of sexual risk practices among adolescents in Ethiopia

    BACKGROUND: Studies done in both developed and developing countries have reported the tendencies of adolescents to engage in risky behaviours. Such behaviours include indulging in early and unsafe sexual activities, having multiple sexual partners, alcohol and drug use and dropping out of school among others. PURPOSE: The main aim of the study was to develop intervention strategies for reducing sexual risk practices among adolescents in Ethiopia. METHODS: A mixed method approach using quantitative and qualitative approaches was employed in order to investigate the risks of sexual practices among urban and rural adolescents in the selected area. A cross-sectional survey was used to gather data quantitatively and focus group discussions were used for the qualitative part of data collection. A total of 449 students and 72 FGD participants were selected for quantitative and qualitative study respectively using systematic random sampling technique. Logistic regression was done to identify possible factors associated with knowledge on emergency contraceptive, condom utilisation, pre-marital sex practices and perception of risky sexual practices. RESULTS: One hundred and seventy (37.9%) respondents had experienced sexual intercourse at the time of the study. The higher proportion (42.6%) of those who had engaged in sexual relationships was from the rural school compared to 33.1% in the urban schools. The proportion of sexually active respondents was higher among males (44.8%) compared to (29%) females. Multiple partners were higher in rural adolescents (44.7%) compared to 31.8% among urban adolescents. Sexually Transmitted Diseases were reported by 28.6% of the sexually active adolescents and the prevalence was higher among males (73.5%) compared to 27% females. 87% of the sexually active adolescents rarely used a condom. CONCLUSION: The study identified a knowledge gap on ASRH which limited adolescents to access reproductive services. Social, cultural and economic factors contributed to adolescent engagement in risky sexual behaviours. Based on the major findings of this study, intervention strategies targeting behavioural, biomedical and structural interventions were proposed.Health StudiesD. Litt. et Phil. (Health Studies
