The Capacitive Magnetic Field Sensor
The results of a study of sensitive element magnetic field sensor are represented in this paper. The sensor is based on the change of the capacitance with an active dielectric (ferrofluid) due to the magnitude of magnetic field. To prepare the ferrofluid magnetic particles are used, which have a followingdispersion equal to 50 < [the empty set] <= 56, 45 < [the empty set] <= 50, 40 < [the empty set] <=45 and [the empty set] <= 40 micron of nanocrystalline alloy of brand 5BDSR. The dependence of the sensitivity of the capacitive element from the ferrofluid with different dispersion of magnetic particles is considered. The threshold of sensitivity and sensitivity of a measuring cell with ferrofluid by a magnetic field was determined. A study of nuclei of astrophysical interest in the continuum shell model
We present here the first application of realistic shell model (SM) including
coupling between many-particle (quasi-)bound states and the continuum of
one-particle scattering states to the spectroscopy of 8B and to the calculation

Fabrication of YAG:RE (RE = Yb, Nd, Cr) Ceramics Using Divalent Sintering Aids
High-quality YAG:RE (Yb, Nd, Cr) ceramics with CaO and MgO as sintering aids were manufactured by solid state reactive sintering method in vacuum. Influence of annealing temperature on optical properties was studied. This combination of sintering aids requires annealing temperatures at least 1300∘C to fully eliminate oxygen vacancies and at least 1400∘C to convert Cr3+ to Cr4+. It was found that annealing in oxidizing atmosphere creates strong changes in short wavelength transmittance.

Problems of High-quality Doped Y2O3-ceramics Fabrication
Tm:Y2O3 , Ho:Y2O3 and Yb:Y2O3 ceramic samples were fabricated using different heat treatments modes. La2O3 (0.5 mol.%) and ZrO2 (1.5 mol.%) were used as sintering additives. Based on the investigation of structural properties of obtained samples, annealing mode was adjusted, and another set of samples with better optical quality was fabricated. In-line transmittance of the latter samples is 70% at 400nm and 75.6% at 600nm.

Parametrization of the angular correlation and degree of linear polarization in two-photon decays of hydrogen-like ions
The two-photon decay in hydrogen-like ions is investigated within the
framework of second order perturbation theory and Dirac's relativistic
equation. Special attention is paid to the angular correlation of the emitted
photons as well as to the degree of linear polarization of one of the two
photons, if the second is just observed under given angles. Expressions for the
angular correlation and the degree of linear polarization are expanded in terms
of -polynomials, whose coefficients depend on the atomic number and
the energy sharing of the emitted photons. The effects of including higher
(electric and magnetic) multipoles upon the emitted photon pairs beyond the
electric-dipole approximation are also discussed. Calculations of the
coefficients are performed for the transitions ,

Josephson tunnel junctions with nonlinear damping for RSFQ-qubit circuit applications
We demonstrate that shunting of Superconductor-Insulator-Superconductor
Josephson junctions by Superconductor-Insulator-Normal metal (S-I-N) structures
having pronounced non-linear I-V characteristics can remarkably modify the
Josephson dynamics. In the regime of Josephson generation the phase behaves as
an overdamped coordinate, while in the superconducting state the damping and
current noise are strikingly small, that is vitally important for application
of such junctions for readout and control of Josephson qubits. Superconducting
Nb/AlO/Nb junction shunted by Nb/AlO/AuPd junction of S-I-N type
was fabricated and, in agreement with our model, exhibited non-hysteretic I-V
characteristics at temperatures down to at least 1.4 K.Comment: 4 pages incl. 3 figure

Relativistic total cross section and angular distribution for Rayleigh scattering by atomic hydrogen
We study the total cross section and angular distribution in Rayleigh
scattering by hydrogen atom in the ground state, within the framework of Dirac
relativistic equation and second-order perturbation theory. The relativistic
states used for the calculations are obtained by making use of the finite basis
set method and expressed in terms of B-splines and B-polynomials. We pay
particular attention to the effects that arise from higher (non-dipole) terms
in the expansion of the electron-photon interaction. It is shown that the
angular distribution of scattered photons, while it is symmetric with respect
to the scattering angle =90 within the electric dipole
approximation, becomes asymmetric when higher multipoles are taken into
account. The analytical expression of the angular distribution is parametrized
in terms of Legendre polynomials. Detailed calculations are performed for
photons in the energy range 0.5 to 10 keV. When possible, results are compared
