Assess the Levels of Dependence And Severity of Psychiatric Illness Among Adolescent Boys Addicted to Marijuna
Marijuana refers to the dry leaves, flowers, stems, and seeds from cannabis sativa or cannabis India plant; it is a psychoactive sedative drug. Adolescent age group is more likely to use cannabis in the form of Marijuana and experience many psychiatric illness problems from use. A recent survey from partnership at drug free shows that about 10% of teens smoke cannabis at least 20 times each month. The main objective of the study is to assess the dependency and associated psychiatric illness among adolescent people at selected area. The sampling sizes of 100 were recruited in purposive sampling technique; descriptive study was used along with structured MEEQ questionnaires. In study results shows that level of dependency were 46% adolescents are short term dependent to marijuana, 36% are moderate level of dependent to marijuana, and 23% adolescents are long term dependent to marijuana. There is a significant association between the level of dependency state of marijuana and the psychiatric illness such as visual hallucination, auditory hallucination, improved memory and learning ability at (p<0.05)
The impact of oil price crisis on financial performance of commercial banks in Bahrain
Oil export is the major source of revenue for the countries in the Middle East. Their economies are sensitive to fluctuations in oil prices. The present study examines the impact of oil crisis on the performance of selected banks of Kingdom of Bahrain using profitability, efficiency, capital adequacy and liquidity ratios in the pre-crisis and crisis periods. The study reveals that there is no significant difference in the performance of banks in the pre-crisis and crisis period. The results indicate that there is a significant difference in the performance of conventional banks and Islamic banks in the pre-crisis period. However, there is no significant difference in the performance of conventional banks and Islamic banks during the crisis period
Normal parameter reduction algorithm in soft set based on hybrid binary particle swarm and biogeography optimizer
© 2019, Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature. Existing classification techniques that are proposed previously for eliminating data inconsistency could not achieve an efficient parameter reduction in soft set theory, which effects on the obtained decisions. Meanwhile, the computational cost made during combination generation process of soft sets could cause machine infinite state, which is known as nondeterministic polynomial time. The contributions of this study are mainly focused on minimizing choices costs through adjusting the original classifications by decision partition order and enhancing the probability of searching domain space using a developed Markov chain model. Furthermore, this study introduces an efficient soft set reduction-based binary particle swarm optimized by biogeography-based optimizer (SSR-BPSO-BBO) algorithm that generates an accurate decision for optimal and sub-optimal choices. The results show that the decision partition order technique is performing better in parameter reduction up to 50%, while other algorithms could not obtain high reduction rates in some scenarios. In terms of accuracy, the proposed SSR-BPSO-BBO algorithm outperforms the other optimization algorithms in achieving high accuracy percentage of a given soft dataset. On the other hand, the proposed Markov chain model could significantly represent the robustness of our parameter reduction technique in obtaining the optimal decision and minimizing the search domain.Published versio

Karuthavattu Ointment - An Approach to Pharmaceutical Modification
Repositioned or reformulated products are those products which are reconstituted into a new form investigating their impact on market demands. It has great relevance on drug research and development. As a result of such market needs, pharmaceutical companies are looking for cost-effective products and making it more patent friendly. Developing a new formulation or indication for already known drugs can be considered as an appealing strategy for drug developers. Aim of form change is to increase patient friendly usage of a product without compromising its quality and potency. Lepa kalpana is one among the Bahirparimarjana Chikitsa used in Ayurveda. Karutha vatu is a traditional Gulika yoga explained in Sahasrayoga Gutika prakarana for the treatment of headache. The formulation is intended to apply externally over forehead or bregma with suitable medium for the cure of various types of head ache. The formulation contains Kundurushka (Oleo gum resin of Boswellia Serrata), Kanya rasa (Aloe vera), Kathini (silicate of magnesia), Karigoodha (Karndivenna) and Sahasravedhi (limonite). Making Lepa out of pill is a tedious task for the patients in present scenario due to their busy life schedules. It also creates problem of non-uniform mixing. Hence a form change of this tablet into ointment is necessary for greater patient’s acceptance. The formulation is tested for its analytical values and discussed in this article
Correlation between topographic color patterns, keratometric indices, and clinical features among young adults with keratoconus
Aim and Objectives: This study tries to estimate the relationship between corneal topographic patterns and topographic parameters with the clinical findings among keratoconus cases.
Design: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study.
Materials and Methods: Keratoconic patients between the age group of 10–30 years were included in this study. Biomicroscopic examination, retinoscopy, and corneal topography were done for the patients, and their correlation with topographic pattern was studied.
Results: The study group included 89 keratoconic eyes having defective vision. The mean age of patients with keratoconus was 20.13 years (standard deviation ± 4.56). This study showed a statistically significant positive correlation between a few topographic pattern and inferior–superior values.
Conclusion: Varied topographic patterns are seen among keratoconus cases diagnosed based on an elevated KISA index. Atypical patterns may be indicative of other causes of corneal ectasia. A comprehensive evaluation of clinical findings, topographic patterns, and keratometric values is essential in the diagnosis and follow-up of keratoconic eyes

Phacocele presenting as localized hematoma in a suspected case of traumatic occult scleral rupture
Trauma can result in subconjunctival dislocation of lens, which is a rare event. Here, we report a case of phacocele, which masqueraded as localized hematoma in a case of traumatic occult scleral rupture
Moving Vehicle Detection From Video Sequences for Traffic Surveillance System
In the current scenario, Intelligent Transportation Systems play a significant role in smart city platform. Automatic moving vehicle detection from video sequences is the core component of the automated traffic management system. Humans can easily detect and recognize objects from complex scenes in a flash. Translating that thought process to a machine, however, requires us to learn the art of object detection using computer vision algorithms. This paper solves the traffic issues of the urban areas with an intelligent automatic transportation system. This paper includes automatic vehicle counting with the help of blob analysis, background subtraction with the use of a dynamic autoregressive moving average model, identify the moving objects with the help of a Boundary block detection algorithm, and tracking the vehicle. This paper analyses the procedure of a video-based traffic congestion system and divides it into greying, binarisation, de-nosing, and moving target detection. The investigational results show that the planned system can provide useful information for traffic surveillance
