Some properties of NaBaPO[4]:Eu luminophore surface

There is an increased interest to the compounds of the ABPO[4] type, activated by europium, where A and B are mono- and divalent cations, because of their luminescent properties. In this paper NaBaPO[4]:Eu{2+}phosphors with different europium content were synthesized by SHS method. It is shown that phosphor surface becomes less alkaline (pHiis changes in the interval 10,7-9,5) with an increase in the concentration of an introduced activator (5-12%). Two bands with maxima wavelength of approximately 425 and 490 nm are observed in the luminescent spectra (the positions of maxima differ somewhat in different spectra). Preliminary investigation of the associations between psychological flexibility, symptoms, and daily functioning in people with chronic abdominal pain

Objective: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, based in the psychological flexibility model, may benefit people with chronic abdominal pain. The current study preliminarily investigates associations between psychological flexibility processes and daily general, social, and emotional functioning in chronic abdominal pain. Methods: An online survey comprising measures of psychological flexibility processes and daily functioning was distributed through social media. Subjects: 89 participants with chronic abdominal pain were included in the analyses. Results: All investigated psychological flexibility processes significantly correlated with pain interference, work and social adjustment, and depression, in the expected directions (|r|=.35-.68). Only pain acceptance significantly correlated with gastrointestinal symptoms, r=-.25. After adjusting for pain in the analyses, pain acceptance remained significantly associated with all outcomes, |β|=.28 to .56, but depression. After adjusting for pain and pain acceptance, only cognitive fusion remained significantly associated with anxiety, β=-.27, and depression, β=.43. When contrasting GI-specific anxiety with psychological flexibility processes, pain acceptance was uniquely associated with pain-related interference and work and social adjustment, and cognitive fusion and committed action were uniquely associated with depression. Conclusions: Psychological flexibility processes were positively associated with daily functioning in people with chronic abdominal pain. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy may provide benefit for these people. Further studies with experimental designs are needed to examine the utility of ACT for people with abdominal pain

A cross validation of Consumer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) with Private Labels in Spain

Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics, pp. 113-125In recent years a number of Consumer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) models and measurement scales have been introduced in the branding literature. However, examinations of brand equity in Private Labels (PL) are rather limited. This study aims to compare the validity of the two prominent CBBE models those introduced by Yoo and Donthu (2001) and Nam et al. (2011). In order to test the models and make this comparison, the study collected data from 236 respondents who rated private labels in Spain. A list of 30 different fashion and sportswear PL was introduced to respondents. These brands do not make any reference to the retail store in which they are sold. Research findings suggest that the extended CBBE model introduced by Nam et al. (2011) and Ciftci et al. (2014) is more reliable and valid than Yoo and Donthu’s model for assessing PL. Metal detector by the principle phasemeter

Рассмотрен новый способ обработки сигнала металлоискателя, основанный на измерениях фазы разностного сигнала. Определены преимущества над разработанными металлоискателями имеющих фазометрическую схему. Изучена зависимость фазы разностного сигнала от амплитуды входных сигналов и разности их фаз. Проведен анализ чувствительностей к разности амплитуд входных сигналов и разности фаз. Установлено, что данный металлоискатель обладает большей чувствительности по сравнению с известными разработками и способен детектировать металл при малейшем изменении выходного сигнала первичного преобразователя. Разработана структурная схема для предлагаемого металлоискателя и приведено описание принципа работы

Объект исследования в данной работе рынок автострахования России. Целью работы было: изучить рынок автострахования России на примере компании "Коместра страхование".Основными задачами было:изучить сущность и структуру страхового рынка,дать характеристику участников страхового рынка,проанализировать состояние российского страхового рынка в части его динамики, масштабов, уровня оказываемых страховых услуг. Данная тема актуальна, так как множество различных компаний открываются и стараются конкурировать с уже устоявшимися компаниями. В данной работе предложен ряд решений которые могут увеличить уровень конкурентоспособности компании в целом.The object of research in this work is the car insurance market of Russia. Measurement of the pn→ppπ0π−pn \to pp\pi^0\pi^- Reaction in Search for the Recently Observed Resonance Structure in dπ0π0d\pi^0\pi^0 and dπ+π−d\pi^+\pi^- systems

Exclusive measurements of the quasi-free $pn \to pp\pi^0\pi^-$ reaction have been performed by means of $pd$ collisions at $T_p$ = 1.2 GeV using the WASA detector setup at COSY. Total and differential cross sections have been obtained covering the energy region $\sqrt s$ = (2.35 - 2.46) GeV, which includes the region of the ABC effect and its associated resonance structure. No ABC effect, {\it i.e.} low-mass enhancement is found in the $\pi^0\pi^-$-invariant mass spectrum -- in agreement with the constraint from Bose statistics that the isovector pion pair can not be in relative s-wave. At the upper end of the covered energy region $t$-channel processes for Roper, $\Delta(1600)$ and $\Delta\Delta$ excitations provide a reasonable description of the data, but at low energies the measured cross sections are much larger than predicted by such processes. Adding a resonance amplitude for the resonance at $m$=~2.37 GeV with $\Gamma$ =~70 MeV and $I(J^P)=~0(3^+)$ observed recently in $pn \to d\pi^0\pi^0$ and $pn \to d\pi^+\pi^-$ reactions leads to an agreement with the data also at low energies

Search for a dark photon in the π0→e+e−γ\pi^0 \to e^+e^-\gamma decay

The presently world largest data sample of pi0 --> gamma e+e- decays containing nearly 5E5 events was collected using the WASA detector at COSY. A search for a dark photon U produced in the pi0 --> gamma U --> gamma e+e- decay from the pp-->pp\pi^0 reaction was carried out. An upper limit on the square of the U-gamma mixing strength parameter epsilon^2 of 5e-6 at 90% CL was obtained for the mass range 20 MeV <M_U< 100 MeV. This result together with other recent experimental limits significantly reduces the M_U vs. \epsilon^2 parameter space preferred by the measured value of the muon anomalous magnetic moment.Comment: 16 pages, 8 figures; improved analysis extending the exclusion region to 20 MeV<M_U< 100 MeV; implemented changes requested by referee
