    IT Solution for Disease Management at PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia

    One of company's occupational health programs is disease management which is a part of preventive health care. In its realization, it was discovered that there some challenges in data collection, monitoring of catering and sport activity, employee health reports, and medical costs. The purpose of this study is to design an IT solution for the disease management program at PT. Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia (PMI). The diseases in focus are diabetes, hypertension, and tuberculosis. Methodology starts with survey on PT. PMI requirements, research parameters, problem analysis, literature study, and system design. Solution is focused on designing a registry system that includes Alert Management System, Food Tracking, EHR, Sport Tracking, Guidelines, and Report System. The results of this study is a web-based information system that can assist health care workers in seeking data, monitoring food intake and sport activity, and reporting systems for upper-level management

    An inclusion of a dissenting opinion in a verdict would be a new thing in Indonesian Law System which inclines into Continental European System. Problematic raised on the implementation. Article 19 point (5) obviously regulate that a dissenting opinion obliged to be embodied on the verdict. The word obliged would be meant to be implemented when dissenting opinon raised between judges. In fact, dissenting opinion only being noted by the head of the court on a separate note. People would not be able to know how each judge consideration towards the case if people could not access the verdict and the dissenting opinion were not being inclusion on the verdict. Refer to the problem. This research were intended to find out why not all of the dissenting opinion were being inclusion and how the inclusion of dissenting opinion on a verdict could effected the Indonesians criminal system. This research using the normative system, means by using books as the source of the information, and interviewing the Yogyakarta District Courts judges. Conclusion could be obtained as a result from this research would be compulsion of the dissenting opinion to be embodied with clear consequences of Law. The expectancy from the inclusion of the dissenting opinion is not only a correction to the verdict but also as a mechanism control for the judges in order to the Law Enforcement

    Re-examining the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT): Towards a Revised Theoretical Model

    YesBased on a critical review of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), this study first formalized an alternative theoretical model for explaining the acceptance and use of information system (IS) and information technology (IT) innovations. The revised theoretical model was then empirically examined using a combination of meta-analysis and structural equation modelling (MASEM) techniques. The meta-analysis was based on 1600 observations on 21 relationships coded from 162 prior studies on IS/IT acceptance and use. The SEM analysis showed that attitude: was central to behavioural intentions and usage behaviours, partially mediated the effects of exogenous constructs on behavioural intentions, and had a direct influence on usage behaviours. A number of implications for theory and practice are derived based on the findings

    A Genetic Locus within the FMN1/GREM1 Gene Region Interacts with Body Mass Index in Colorectal Cancer Risk

    Colorectal cancer risk can be impacted by genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors, including diet and obesity. Geneenvironment interactions (G x E) can provide biological insights into the effects of obesity on colorectal cancer risk. Here, we assessed potential genome-wide G x E interactions between body mass index (BMI) and common SNPs for colorectal cancer risk using data from 36,415 colorectal cancer cases and 48,451 controls from three international colorectal cancer consortia (CCFR, CORECT, and GECCO). The G x E tests included the conventional logistic regression using multiplicative terms (one degree of freedom, 1DF test), the two-step EDGE method, and the joint 3DF test, each of which is powerful for detecting G x E interactions under specific conditions. BMI was associated with higher colorectal cancer risk. The two-step approach revealed a statistically significant GxBMI interaction located within the Formin 1/Gremlin 1 (FMN1/GREM1) gene region (rs58349661). This SNP was also identified by the 3DF test, with a suggestive statistical significance in the 1DF test. Among participants with the CC genotype of rs58349661, overweight and obesity categories were associated with higher colorectal cancer risk, whereas null associations were observed across BMI categories in those with the TT genotype. Using data from three large international consortia, this study discovered a locus in the FMN1/GREM1 gene region that interacts with BMI on the association with colorectal cancer risk. Further studies should examine the potential mechanisms through which this locus modifies the etiologic link between obesity and colorectal cancer
