Genuine Multipartite Entanglement in Quantum Phase Transitions

    Get PDF
We demonstrate that the Global Entanglement (GE) measure defined by Meyer and Wallach, J. Math. Phys. 43, 4273 (2002), is maximal at the critical point for the Ising chain in a transverse magnetic field. Our analysis is based on the equivalence of GE to the averaged linear entropy, allowing the understanding of multipartite entanglement (ME) features through a generalization of GE for bipartite blocks of qubits. Moreover, in contrast to GE, the proposed ME measure can distinguish three paradigmatic entangled states: GHZNGHZ_{N}, WNW_{N}, and EPRN/2EPR^{\otimes N/2}. As such the generalized measure can detect genuine ME and is maximal at the critical point.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures. Replaced with final published versio

The mechanism for the electrooxidation of procarbazine pharmaceutical preparation in alkaline media and its mathematical description

The mechanism for the electrooxidation of procarbazine in alkaline media has been proposed. The process is realized completely on the electrode surface and is adsorption-controlled. The oscillatory behavior in this case is more probable, than for neutral media and may be caused by influences of electrochemical oxidation and salt dissolution from the electrode surface

The mathematical description of the electrosynthesis of composites of oxy-hydroxycompounds cobalt with polypyrrole overooxidazed

The electrosynthesis of the composite with of the overoxidized polypyrrole with cobalt oxy-hydroxide in strongly acidic media has been described mathematically, using linear stability theory and bifurcation analysis. The steadystates stability conditions and oscillatory and monotonic instability requirements have been described too. The system´s behavior was compared with behavior of other systems with overoxidation, electropolymerization of heterocyclic compounds and electrosynthesis of the cobalt oxy-hydroxides

Chaotic Interaction of Langmuir Solitons and Long Wavelength Radiation

In this work we analyze the interaction of isolated solitary structures and ion-acoustic radiation. If the radiation amplitude is small solitary structures persists, but when the amplitude grows energy transfer towards small spatial scales occurs. We show that transfer is particularly fast when a fixed point of a low dimensional model is destroyed.Comment: LaTex + 4 eps file

This work aims at generating georeferred maps of the main landscape elements from the geoenvironmental mapping of the Camará hydrographic basin. The map was generated from the interpretation and digital processing of CBERS images using the SPRING/INPE software with RGB composition of bands 2, 3 and 4, and data obtained from field sampling. The results indicate that the greatest part of the hydrographic basin is composed by Regosols (45%) and Acrisols (36%) associated with Leptosols, Fluvisols, Cambisols, and Luvisols. Capoeira brushwood ? which is mistaken for pasture by automatic classification due to the fact that it is an abandoned, recovering area historically used for agriculture and pasture ? covers an area of almost 38%, whereas 13% of the total area are explored for banana and citrus crops, especially in humid regions. Pangola grass (Digitaria decumbens Stent), guinea grass (Panicum maximum Jacq. var. gongyloides Doell), and napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum Schum.) dominate pasture areas, and take up 27% of the total area. The geoenvironmental unit that presented high environmental vulnerability was Encosta São Tomé, which comprises 3.5% of the basin, due to the fact that 90% of this area presents a strongly undulate to mountainous landscape, and 80% of its soil is shallow or very shallow, whereas low environmental vulnerability was detected in areas with associations of deeper soils, such as Regosols and Acrisols, which present plain to mildly undulate landscape, which occurred in 5% of the total area
