    PENERAPAN PEMBERIAN TUGAS AWAL BERBASIS KOMPETENSI PADA MATA KULIAH TERMODINAMIKA DALAM PENCAPAIAN NILAI MAHASISWA JURUSAN FISIKA FMIPA UNM

    It has been conducted pre-experimental research on the giving of initial competency-based assignment in the thermodynamics course to describe the learning outcomes of students who attended the course after application of this strategy and whether the target of 60% of the students who received grades of A and /or B was achieved. This pre-experimental study was carried out for 6 months. The subjects of this study were the Physics Education Students of 2012 class who attended this course in academic year 2013/2014 as many as 45 people. The results of this study showed that the average learning outcome of student on the subject of thermodynamics after the application of the strategy was 71.09 from the ideal value of 100. Percentage of students who received grades of A and B was 68.88%, thus the criteria for successful implementation strategy has been fulfilled. Furthermore, leadership style with the ability to make decisions, able to motivate, be communicative, able to control subordinates, responsible and able to control emotions. The independent variable with its indicators can encourage the achievement of employee performance effectiveness which is useful for the development of work productivity at the Sulawesi - Maluku Region Employment BPJS.     Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengisi gap pada penelitian terdahulu yang masih menunjukkan inkonsistensi hasil penelitian dan adanya gap research dengan hasil yang menyatakan pengaruh yang positif dan negatif pada Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) dan Aktiva Produktif (AP) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA). Rasio Return on Assets (ROA) sebagai salah satu rasio profitabilitas yang digunakan untuk melihat kemampuan perusahaan dalam menghasilkan laba sebesar-besarnya dalam periode 2011-2022. Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) dan Aktiva Produktif (AP) dianggap mampu berdampak terhadap nilai Return on Assets (ROA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran atau deskripsi dari Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), Aktiva Produktif (AP) dan Return on Assets (ROA). Mengetahui secara parsial seberapa besar Pengaruh Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA). Mengetahui secara parsial seberapa besar Pengaruh Aktiva Produktif (AP) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA). Mengetahui secara simultan seberapa besar Pengaruh Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) dan Aktiva Produktif (AP) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada PT. Bank Permata Syariah periode 2011-2022. Kerangka teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merujuk kepada teori yang menyatakan bahwa semakin tinggi Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) dan Aktiva Produktif (AP) maka akan semakin tinggi pula tingkat return on Assets (ROA) yang diperoleh. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder runtun waktu (time series) yang berasal dari website resmi laporan keuangan PT. Bank Permata Syariah Periode 2011-2022. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier sederhana dan berganda, korelasi pearson product moment, analisis koefisien determinasi, uji hipotesis parsial (uji t) dan uji signifikan simultan (uji f). Pengelolaan data pada penelitian ini dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS for Windows Version 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 2,7%. Secara parsial Aktiva Produktif tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) dengan dibuktikan oleh nilai koefisien sebesar 1,1%. Selanjutnya, secara simultan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) dan Aktiva Produktif (AP) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 24,1%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi penggunaan bahan ajar fisika berbasis simulasi interaktif dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada pembelajaran fisika. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan meode kajian literatur dari berbagai sumber untuk mengetahui penggunaan simulasi dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran inkuiri serta metode survey untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dikalangan pelajar sehingga diperoleh data untuk bisa mengaplikasikan bahan ajar berbasis simulasi interaktif. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil survey kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur dapat disimpulkan bahwa simulasi komputer telah banyak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan tahapan penyelidikan dan memberikan dampak yang positif, beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan sebelum menggunakan simulasi komputer adalah kebenaran simulasi itu dalam menunjukkan fenomena fisis, kemudahan dalam menggunakan dan juga menyesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa. Berdasarkan survey, secara umum 85% responden setuju dengan penggunaan simulasi komputer dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, data yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan laboratorium masih sangat kurang. Sehingga diharapkan simulasi komputer dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk melakukan pengamatan fenomena fisis

    Use of E-Learning System in Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on Accredited PTS Students in BAN-PT Bandung

    E-learning is an application utilized to support the teaching and learning process at a private university in Bandung City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The users of E-learning comprise lecturers and students. However, no evaluation has been conducted regarding the user acceptance of the E-learning system employed. This study aims to determine the factors of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Intention to Use (ITU), and Attitude Towards Using (ATU), on the acceptance of the E-learning system. The research employs descriptive analysis and verification as the research methods. The research population consists of university students in the city of Bandung, whose universities have been accredited by BAN-PT and already utilize the E-Learning system. Convenient sampling is used, and 260 student respondents from 12 private universities in Bandung using E-Learning are included in the sample. Data analysis is conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The study's results demonstrate that Perceived Usefulness (PU) has a positive impact on intention. Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) significantly affects Intention to Use (ITU), and Attitude towards Using (ATU) positively influences the utilization of E-Learning applications among students in private universities in Bandung.     Sustainable development goals: Recognition of Pancasila education materials in shaping student ethics in the digital era

    Students' interest in learning and teaching Pancasila Education has not yet thoroughly imbued awareness and sincerity. Students prefer to discuss the actualization and practice of the Pancasila precepts. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis and observation methods. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and distributed google forms to find and dig the required information from students and several related lecturers. Looking at some of the responses and the obstacles felt by students in studying the philosophical and historical Pancasila, the researcher considers it essential to reconstruct the content of the Pancasila Education material in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The position and role of Pancasila ideology in the scope of Pancasila education must be strengthened and reconstructed more dynamically according to the times. The results obtained from this study show that Pancasila education materials need to be improved and adapted to the developments and guidelines of the digital era, not only centered on theories and concepts but materials are made more exciting and creative so that Pancasila ideology can survive and develop following the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals.     The Role of a Community Learning Centre in Fostering the Community's Social Entrepreneurship Character and Motivation in Facing New Normal Era

    This study explored the role of a Community Learning Center (CLC) in fostering the community’s social entrepreneurship character and motivation in facing the economic challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was an empirical examination of the phenomenon of social entrepreneurship. The descriptive method was used; the data were gathered through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 5 CLC managers and from secondary data. The results showed that the CLC designs programs, such as holding training to instil an entrepreneurial mindset and improve community skills. The CLC also provides personal assistance in starting a social entrepreneurship business through coaching and providing venture capital. Furthermore, the CLC provides free public classes on tackling the problems of modern social entrepreneurship. It carries out programs specifically designed to motivate people to face challenges and expand social entrepreneurship businesses. We identified the role of the CLC as a forum for socialization and for providing mentoring classes with successful speakers in the field of entrepreneurship as an effort to foster the character and motivation of the community to start social entrepreneurship.     THE CONTRIBUTION OF CARBON TAXES TO ECONOMIC PROGRESS IN INDONESIA

    The implementation of carbon taxation is considered a more straightforward approach to managing climate change in Indonesia compared to the Emissions Trading System (ETS), as it offers a simpler execution process. Carbon tax is a derivative of Pigouvian tax, involving levies on economic activities that have negative environmental impacts. This aligns with the government's efforts to achieve medium and long-term emission reduction targets, combating hazardous greenhouse gas emissions.This research aims to identify carbon tax's potential as a revenue source for national progress. It is a literature-based study utilizing secondary data from both national and international journals. The research findings emphasize that carbon tax is a suitable and necessary alternative for Indonesia in addressing global warming and climate deterioration, while promoting economic development.Furthermore, carbon taxation holds the potential to augment state revenue through an expanded tax base, indirectly curbing carbon emissions and greenhouse effects. Therefore, carbon tax emerges as a solution to safeguarding the environment and fostering economic growth, as outlined in Indonesia's Medium-Term Development Plan for 2020-2024
