The objectives of this study are: 1) to discover specific teaching strategies used by the English teacher in teaching speaking at the International Class Program; 2) to describe the implementation of teaching strategies that are used by the English teacher; 3) to identify the impact of the teaching strategies toward students’ speaking fluency. This research was conducted at the sixth grade of Madrasah Ibtida’iyah International Class Program of Nurul Ulum Bojonegoro in the first semester of academic year 2015/2016 with 24 students categorized as an active students come from different social and economic background. The method used in this study was a qualitative research in the form of case study. In collecting the data, the writer conducted interview, class observation, and document analysis. The result of this study shows that 1) there are three teaching strategies to teach speaking: a) pair work b) story telling c) group work; 2) the teacher implemented the strategies in the elaboration step in which the students are assigned to do the worksheet; 3) Implementing the teaching strategies in the speaking class drives the students to have speech rate around 110 – 130 wpm, silent pauses in 1 – 3 seconds and some fillers. It can be concluded that pair work, story telling, and group work are very useful to be implemented in the speaking class in which the students can be categorized as active learners. These teaching strategies are believed to provide more opportunities for the students in producing oral language that influences their speaking fluency. Thus, in teaching English to young learners, teachers need to know how to facilitate the students to be successful in the learning process. Hopefully this study will also inspire other researchers who are interested in conducting research on other aspects of strategies in teaching speaking to young learners.     ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang semakin meningkat merupakan peranan yang sangat penting bagi perusahaan dengan dibutuhkannya pendanaan untuk melakukan aktivitas investasi maupun operasional perusahaan. Sumber pendanaan bagi perusahaan, dapat diperoleh dari investasi masyarakat, maupun institusi. Perusahaan publik di Indonesia diwajibkan untuk menerbitkan laporan keuangan secara periodik sebagai pengambilan keputusan bagi para pengguna laporan keuangan. Laporan keuangan dianggap data yang berguna secara langsung jika informasi tersebut diperoleh pada waktu yang tepat serta berguna dalam pengambilan keputusan ekonomi. Ketepatan waktu dalam laporan keuangan menjadi hal yang penting karena penyajian suatu informasi dapat bermanfaat apabila disajikan secara tepat waktu dan akurat. Tertundanya penyampaian pelaporan dalam laporan keuangan dapat memengaruhi oleh jangka waktu pelaporan audit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji pengaruh dari kompleksitas operasi perusahaan, leverage, umur perusahaan dan kontinjensi terhadap audit delay pada perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan besar yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2015-2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor perdagangan besar yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2015-2018. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan diperoleh 64 unit sampel. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan software EVIEWS untuk memperoleh gambaran yang menyeluruh mengenai hubungan antara variabel satu dengan variabel yang lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompleksitas operasi perusahaan, leverage, umur perusahaan dan kontinjensi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit delay. Secara parsial umur perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit delay. Sedangkan kompleksitas operasi perusahaan, leverage dan kontinjensi secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap audit delay. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa variabel kompleksitas operasi perusahaan, leverage, umur perusahaan dan kontinjensi dapat dijadikan pedoman, baik oleh pihak perusahaan dalam pengelolaan perusahaan, maupun oleh para auditor dalam menjalankan audit laporan keuangan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, Return On Asset, Net Profit Margin, and Earning Per Share toward stock price in mining companies listed of Indonesia Stock Exchange in the periode of 2010-2014. The data used in this study is financial statement data of 14 mining companies listed of Indonesia Stock Exchange in the periode of 2010-2014. The regression model using panel data approach with Fixed Effect Model. Research shows that Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, Return On Asset, Earning Per Share has significant positive effect to Stock Prices, while Net Profit Margin has positiv effect and does not signifacantly effect to Stock Prices in mining companies listed of Indonesia Stock Exchange.     Flipped Classroom Using Screencast-O-Matic Apps in Teaching Reading Skill in Indonesian Language

    This article aims to describe the implementation of the flipped classroom method using Screencast-O-Matic apps in the teaching of Indonesian language reading skills and the impact this method has on the learning process. This qualitative research was conducted at one of the private institutes in Bojonegoro, Indonesia, and the researcher acted as the observer. The data were obtained through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analysed using Creswell’s thematic analysis, which involves six stages of analysing and intrepreting. Then, the data were validated using triangulations of theory and source. The results of this research show that Screencast-O-Matic apps contribute to the successful implementation of the flipped classroom method. The combination of the teaching method and the media creates innovation in teaching reading skills in the Indonesian language. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher acts as the facilitator, resulting in some good impacts for the students: 1) the students are motivated by the video study materials, 2) the students are able to enjoy their leisure time, 3) the students are pleased with the teaching and learning process and are able to answer questions quickly, 4) the students appreciate each other’s opinions, and 5) the students have more comprehensive knowledge of the Indonesian language reading skills materials

    Descriptive Text Writing Skills Through Picture Media in Elementary School Students

    This study aimed to describe the skills of writing descriptive text through image media in the form of identification structures or general statements and section description structures in class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Genteng. The research data is in the form of essays/the results of learning the skills of writing descriptive text through the media of images in class VII B students at SMP Negeri 2 Genteng. Data collection techniques used documentation techniques which were carried out through five stages, namely (1) research questions, (2) determining category definitions and levels of abstraction, (3) category formulation, (4) category revision, and (5) final work. The research instrument is the researcher himself as the main instrument and is assisted by supporting instruments in the form of assessment instrument tables. The data in the study were analyzed through four stages, namely: (1) reading and studying, (2) identifying, (3) presenting the results of the categorization, and (4) concluding the results of the analysis found. The technique for testing the validity of the data in this study uses the observation persistence technique. The results of the data analysis show that there are assessment indicators in the form of (1) identification structures or general statements which include object recognition. (2) the structure of the description of the part, which includes words that refer to the names of objects, material or action verbs, and adjectives. Based on the data results, this study concludes that students are categorized as good because students can write descriptive text through media images based on assessment indicators

    The role of si raca app in quantum learning to improve students' motivation and reading achievement

    Abstract: Quantum learning is very popular in educational field. It can be implemented easily in elementary school. It will be more interesting when it is collaborated with an application as a learning media. This study aims to investigate the design of quantum learning which is collaborated with Si Raca app and to investigate students’ motivation and reading achievements in it. This study is classroom action research that involves 24 students in the first grade of SD Islam Darussalam Kedungrejo, Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. This study utilizes research instruments in form of observation sheets which implement the aspect of ARCH and reading tests with indicators of fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, and intonation. Research procedures are started from analyzing problems, designing actions, implementing actions, and reflecting. The data is analyzed using likert scale and it is calculated using simple formula. Moreover, it is consulted with interval scores. Results of study show that the quantum learning collaborated with Si Raca app in early reading is designed using innovative and interactive approach which implements the syntax of TANDUR. There are 50% of students who improve their motivation and reading achievements very well. It can be concluded that Si Raca app has important role in quantum learning. This application is a learning media which is useful for students in improving their motivation and reading achievements

    Kolaborasi Flipped Classroom dengan Media Plotagon dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Persuasi

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis teks persuasi yang ditulis oleh siswa SMP IT Syakur Al-marzuqi Ngasem dengan menggunakan flipped classroom dan media plotagon. penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus dengan jumlah subjek 13 siswa. Dari 13 siswa kemudian peneliti mengambil 4 siswa untuk diwawancarai dengan alasan teks persuasi sesuai dengan indikator. Teknik pengumplan data menggunakan observasi, metode tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data divaliditaskan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data dimulai dari 1). reduksi data, 2). penyajian data, 3). penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks persuasi yang ditulis oleh siswa SMP IT Syakur Al-marzuqi Ngasem sesuai dengan pedoman buku siswa bahasa Indonesia SMP/Mts Kelas VIII revisi 2017 dengan baik. Simpulan pada penelitian ini adalah flipped classroom dan media plotagon sangat tepat digunakan karena dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam pembelajaran, dan memberi pemahaman siswa jika situs online bisa digunakan sebagai pembelajaran yang menarik. Kata Kunci: Flipped classroom, plotagon, teks persuas

    Predictive model for dysmenorrhea level in female Taekwondo athletes: Investigating the influence of BMI and micronutrient intake

    Disturbances during menstruation such as dysmenorrhea affect the performance of female athletes. However, research on the physiologic conditions of female Taekwondo athletes was still very limited. This study aimed to obtain a predictive model for the level of dysmenorrhea and to test which variable had the most influence on the rate of dysmenorrhea. The research design adopted cross-sectional methods. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to analyze the effect of BMI and micronutrient intake of nine elite regional and national female Taekwondo. The results showed that the average female athlete had a normal BMI, while for micronutrient intake per day, the average intake of vitamin E was low, the vitamin B6 intake was low, Magnesium intake was low and Calcium intake was fulfilled. The most influence on the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea in female Taekwondo athletes was calcium intake. This study was limited to measurements of BMI and dietary micronutrient intake, which might help provide data that coaches, athlete nutritionists, and athletes could be used to predict and assess the incidence of primary dysmenorrhea. More research could use the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), which could better explain how often athletes consumed certain food ingredients over a specific time period

    Mengelola Kelas Online dengan Aplikasi Schoology

    Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah 1) mengenalkan aplikasi-aplikasi dalam e-learning kepada guru SMP AT-TAJDID, 2) guru SMP AT-TAJDID dapat mengoperasikan aplikasi schoology. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini disusun secara sistematis mulai dari tahap awal, tahap inti, dan tahap akhir. Pelasanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat harus sesuai dengan target capaian dan mencapai luaran yang tepat waktu dan baik. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilakukan pada hari Kamis, 07 November 2019 mulai pukul 09.00 di SMP AT-TAJDID Cepu, Kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 13 guru yang mengampu mata pelajaran berbeda. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Guru SMP AT-TAJDID dapat mengetahui aplikasi-aplikasi dalam e-learning, 2) Guru SMP AT-TAJDID mampu mengoperasikan aplikasi schoology mulai dari mendaftar, mengisi materi, membuat quiz, dan membagikan kode kelas kepada siswa

    The effectiveness of mobile-based teaching materials for academic writing in hybrid learning on students’ academic writing ability

    Mobile-based teaching materials for academic writing are flexible to be implemented in various learning models. Therefore, this study aims to investigate which is more effective between mobile-based teaching materials in hybrid learning and teaching materials in form of handouts in direct instruction to produce students’ academic writing ability. This study is quasi experimental design in which the population is all of students in second semester at Indonesian language and literature department of IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. They are consisted of 72 students. Research samples are taken using simple random sampling. Test is utilized to obtain the data. Moreover, its hypothesis is tested using t-test. Result of study shows that in the significance level of 0,05, it equals 1,6992. While the value of t0,05;70 = 1,6669. Based on t table, the value of DK = . tobs  DK. In other words, H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that mobile-based teaching material of academic writing skill in hybrid learning is more effective to produce students’ academic writing ability than the teaching materials in form of handouts in direct instruction
