Edad materna como factor de riesgo para gestación postérmino en pacientes del hospital Belén de Trujillo
Demostrar que la edad materna es factor de riesgo para gestación
postérmino en pacientes del Hospital Belén de Trujillo.
Material y Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo analítico, observacional,
retrospectivo, de casos y controles. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por
410 gestantes con adecuado control prenatal; quienes se dividieron en 2 grupos: con y
sin gestación postermino.
Resultados: La frecuencia de edad materna menor a 20 años en gestantes postermino
y a término fue 18% y 11% respecitvamente. La edad menor de 20 años es factor de
riesgo para gestación postermino con un odds ratio de 2.11 el cual fue significativo.
La frecuencia de edad materna mayor a 35 años en gestantes postermino y a término
fue 22% y 14% respecitvamente. La edad mayor a 35 años es factor de riesgo para
gestación postermino con un odds ratio de 2.02 el cual fue significativo.
Conclusiones: La edad materna menor a 20 años es factor de riesgo para gestación
postérmino en pacientes del Hospital Belén de Trujillo.Demonstrate that maternal age is a risk factor for post-term

Material and Methods: A study of analytical, observational, retrospective,
case-control type was carried out . The study population consisted of 410
pregnant women with adequate prenatal care; who they were divided into 2
groups: with and without post-term pregnancy.
Results: The frequency of maternal age less than 20 years post-term and term
pregnant women was 18 % and 11 % respectively. Age younger than 20 years
is a risk factor for post-term pregnancy with an odds ratio of 2.11 which was
significant. The frequency of maternal age greater than 35 years in post-term
and term pregnant women was 22 % and 14 % respectively. The older to 35
years is a risk factor for post-term pregnancy with an odds ratio of 2.02 which
was significant.
Conclusions: Maternal age is a risk factor for post-term pregnancy in patients

Skeletal Muscle PGC-1β Signaling is Sufficient to Drive an Endurance Exercise Phenotype and to Counteract Components of Detraining in Mice
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ coactivator (PGC)-1α and -1β serve as master transcriptional regulators of muscle mitochondrial functional capacity and are capable of enhancing muscle endurance when overexpressed in mice. We sought to determine whether muscle-specific transgenic overexpression of PGC-1β affects the detraining response following endurance training. First, we established and validated a mouse exercise-training-detraining protocol. Second, using multiple physiological and gene expression end points, we found that PGC-1β overexpression in skeletal muscle of sedentary mice fully recapitulated the training response. Lastly, PGC-1β overexpression during the detraining period resulted in partial prevention of the detraining response. Specifically, an increase in the plateau at which O2 uptake (V̇o2) did not change from baseline with increasing treadmill speed [peak V̇o2 (ΔV̇o2max)] was maintained in trained mice with PGC-1β overexpression in muscle 6 wk after cessation of training. However, other detraining responses, including changes in running performance and in situ half relaxation time (a measure of contractility), were not affected by PGC-1β overexpression. We conclude that while activation of muscle PGC-1β is sufficient to drive the complete endurance phenotype in sedentary mice, it only partially prevents the detraining response following exercise training, suggesting that the process of endurance detraining involves mechanisms beyond the reversal of muscle autonomous mechanisms involved in endurance fitness. In addition, the protocol described here should be useful for assessing early-stage proof-of-concept interventions in preclinical models of muscle disuse atrophy
IS FRONTAL PLANE PROJECTION ANGLE RELATED TO STIFF LANDING PATTERNS? AN ANALYSIS OF DROP JUMP AND TUCK JUMP TASKS
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between frontal plane knee projection angle (FPPA) and sagittal (hip and knee flexion) plane landing kinematic measures during a drop jump (DVJ) and a tuck jump assessment (TJA) test in male youth football players. Eighty-one post-pubertal male footballers were recorded performing DVJ and TJA tasks, and FPPA as well as hip (HF) and knee (KF) flexion angles at peak flexion were retrospectively assessed. The main results show that players with greater knee FPPA (valgus) display lower HF values than players with no knee valgus alignment during DVJ landings, but not during TJA. A DVJ pattern which exhibits knee valgus and limited HF angles may increase the risk of knee injury and thus, strategies for hip strengthening and technique modification should be applied to players with this mechanical profile
Water Defluoridation: Nanofiltration vs Membrane Distillation
Nowadays, fluoride contamination of drinking water is a major problem for various countries, because high concentrations of fluoride pose a risk of dental and skeletal fluorosis. Over past years, membrane nanofiltration (NF) has been proposed as convenient defluoridation technology. However, NF cannot be applied to water systems with high fluoride concentration, and the disposal of the membrane concentrate remains an issue. In this work, we compared a commercial polyester NF membrane and a polypropylene hollow-fiber membrane distillation (MD) module for their ability to remove fluoride ions from water in the presence of hardness ions and organic fouling agents. The NF membrane can offer more than 10 times higher water productivity than MD, under realistic gradients of temperature and pressure, respectively. Despite that, after reaching a concentration factor of about 3, fouling and scaling caused the flux to drop to about 80% with respect to its initial value. Moreover, F- retention decreased from 90% to below 80%, thus providing a permeate of scarce quality. MD was operated in the direct-contact mode on a polypropylene hollow-fiber membrane, which was charged with a hot feed flow (average T = 58 °C) on one side and a cooled (20 °C) permeate flow of distilled water on the other side. The concentration of fluoride ions in the permeate was always below the detection limit of our electrode (0.2 ppm), regardless of the fluoride concentration in the feed. Moreover, the MD module showed higher resistance to fouling and scaling than NF, and CaF2 crystals were recovered from the MD concentrate after cooling. These results suggest that the synergic combination of the two techniques might be beneficial for the purification of fluoride-contaminated water systems: MD can be used to further concentrate the NF retentate, thus producing high-purity water and recovering CaF2 crystals.Fil: Moran Ayala, Lucia Isabel. A Cross-Sectional Analysis of Perceptions of Interprofessional Education in Medical Students
Background and Objectives: With the recent paradigm shift in medicine away from traditional hierarchies and patient-physician dyads, there is increased interest in training students to work interprofessionally. A primary focus for improving collaboration in health care is increasing exposure to formalized interprofessional education (IPE) across health professions during training. This study focuses on the effect of formal and informal curricula on medical student attitudes toward IPE.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey of all undergraduate medical students was conducted using the Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Scale (RIPLS).
Results: Throughout all years of medical school, students agreed with the importance of interprofessional education. Fourth-year medical students had higher total RIPLS scores (64.29 versus 61.0; p=0.007), as well as higher scores on multiple individual RIPLS questions than first-year students.
Conclusions: Medical students become more enthusiastic about IPE as their training progresses. Both formal and informal educational opportunities contribute to this effect
La planificación administrativa y su influencia en el desempeño laboral del área de teleinterconsulta de un establecimiento de salud, Lima, 2021
La actual investigación tiene como objetivo determinar de qué forma la planificación
administrativa contribuye en el desempeño laboral del área de teleinterconsulta del
establecimiento de salud – 2021.
El estudio es tipo aplicada, de nivel correlacional, con un diseño, no experimental,
transversal – correlacional con enfoque cuantitativo, consta de 60 colaboradores
para la muestra, se utilizó la encuesta como técnica y el cuestionario como
instrumento, sujetas a 2 variables, que es la planificación administrativa y el
desempeño laboral, ambas compuestas de 4 dimensiones con 15 ítems C/U, con
respuestas tipo Likert, para la confiabilidad del instrumento se usó Alfa de
Cronbach, donde se obtuvo una alta correlación con un 0,955 y 0,923
respectivamente. Para el análisis estadístico que es tipo descriptivo, se utilizó el
programa Excel, por lo cual se elaboró las tablas y gráficos pastel, que serían
contrastadas con las hipótesis aplicando la prueba de Rho de Spearman.
En conclusión, si hay una relación significativa entre las variables Planificación

El efecto de la información financiera en el apalancamiento en la empresa Contaplus EIRL, Chiclayo - 2022
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal demostrar
el efecto de la información financiera la cual va a permitir obtener apalancamiento
en la empresa Contaplus EIRL.
El análisis de la información financiera va a permitir a tomar decisiones en
los reportes financieros y contables, así como poder obtener apalancamiento
financiero para así la empresa pueda aumentar la rentabilidad de la inversión y
así invertir una mayor cantidad de dinero.
Durante la realización de la tesis se ha utilizado el instrumento de
investigación: el cuestionario hacia los trabajadores de la empresa con el fin de
tener una noción global de los lineamientos que tiene la empresa la gestión de la
información financiera y así analizar sistemáticamente y estructuradamente la
información necesaria concerniente a la empresa.
En la presente investigación se llegó a la conclusión que el gerente de la
empresa Contaplus EIRL debe desarrollar un plan de capacitación permanente al
personal involucrado con el área contable y administrativo en temas de manejo
adecuado del apalancamiento financiero a fin de cubrir el endeudamiento, es
decir, no conviene un apalancamiento financiero a través de terceros, si la
empresa no tiene la seguridad de un flujo de efectivo permanente, ya que, una
mala estructura financiera, sería causante de la quiebra de la empresa
