    Are there any differences of learning orientation between level 1 and level 4 of nursing students?

    Purpose: The aim of this research is to identify the differences of learning orientation between level 1 and level 4 nursing students. Method: Data were collected using ILS questioners which involved two students as respondents, level 1 and level 4 nursing students. The data were calculated based on scoring key in each sub component, and were compared with standard of psychology students. Result: The result showed that there were differences of learning orientation between level 1 and level 4 nursing students particularly in components personally interested, certificate directed, vocation directed, and ambivalent. One of reasons behind of this is level 1 nursing students get transition from senior high school into college while level 4 nursing students are settler, and can adapt with learning process in college. Conclusion: It will be better if every student has change to screen their learning orientation by completing ILS questioners, so it will help students to focus on their learning process on the other hand, students’ learning orientation will help teacher to facilitate students achieving the competencies.     A NEW APPROACH IN EMPIRICAL MODELLING OF CO2 CORROSION WITH THE PRESENCE OF HAc AND H2S

    CO2 corrosion is the main threat in upstream oil and gas operations. The requirement to predict the corrosion in design and operational stage is critical. However, the presence of other corrosion species and operational parameters complicate the mechanism of the corrosion. The interaction between those factors affect the accuracy of the corrosion prediction. Although many publications on CO2 corrosion prediction had been published, most of the prediction models rely on specific algorithms to combine individual effect of the interacting species to represent the total corrosion rate. This effort is inefficient and needs a large number of experiments to process all possible corrosion data simultaneously. In order to study CO2 corrosion of carbon steel involving interactive effects of several key parameters, a proven systematic statistical method that can represent the multitude interactive effects is needed. In this research, a combination of response surface methodology (RSM) and mechanistic corrosion theories were used to construct an empirical model that relates the effects of acetic acid (HAc), temperature, and rotation speed on CO2 and CO2/H2S corrosion rate simultaneously. The corrosion experiments are based on both linear polarization resistance (LPR) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) methods. Flow condition is simulated using rotating cylinder electrode (RCE). The RSM regression models for the carbon steel corrosion in CO2 environments involving HAc, temperature and rotation speed as parameters have been successful developed and validated with experimental data and commercial predictive models. In the form of mathematical equations, the effects of independent variables will be easily identified and developed. The combination RSM and mechanistic theory applied in this research is efficient to determine the empirical relationship of the variables tested simultaneously.     The Effectivity of Multi Source Feedback (MSF) to Assess Professional Behaviour (Pb) of Nursing Students: an Evaluation Study

    Background: Nurses are requested to give an excellent services to patients not only excellent in skills but also excellent in behaviour which serve comfort to patients. The behaviour is called professional behaviour or soft skill. Purpose: The aim of this research is investigating the effectiveness of MSF in assessing nursing students\u27 professional behaviour (PB).Methods: The design of the research is an evaluation study which compares the result of PB between before and after joining practice in clinical setting. The participants were thirty three participants consisting of 33 nursing students and 3 mentors. Data were collected using a quantitative approach. The participants are requested to do self and peer assessment using SPRAT modification form while mentors are asked to assess nursing students using the same form. The assessment was conducted twice, before and after joining internship. The data were analysed to compare the score of PB before and after joining the internship among group of participant using Paired sample T-test or dependent sample T test. Result: The results showed that there were differences of score between before and after joining internship with α = 0.000; 0.001; and 0.000 for self, peer, and mentor assessment respectively. There was no difference of score before joining internship among assessors with α = 0.509, and there was a difference of score after joining internship among assessors with α = 0.005. It means that MSF is an effective method to assess PB of nursing students. Conclusion: Applying MSF method to assess PB of nursing student is suggested for better assessment

    Salah satu keunggulan Oracle sebagai DBMS ( Database Management System ) adalah mampu menangani banyak sekali data yang masuk dan keluar dari database. Dengan adanya keunggulan tersebut, database Oracle digunakan oleh banyak perusahaan yang mempunyai kapasitas data yang sangat besar. Tapi, jika pada Server yang menghubungkan antara client dan database Oracle mengalami traffic yang sangat tinggi, maka akan terjadi kemacetan pada Server tersebut yang bisa membuat database menjadi down ( mati ). Hal tersebut bisa membuat perusahaan tersebut mengalami kerugian besar. Oracle mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan mengimplementasikan sebuah teknologi Clustering Database yang disebut Real Application Cluster (RAC) dimana pengaksesan database Oracle dibagi menjadi beberapa server dengan tujuan server - server tersebut mampu mengatasi masalah traffic yang sering terjadi apabila banyak sekali client yang mengakses ke database.     ABSTRAKNama : Sisilia AsmaraProgram Studi : Kedokteran GigiJudul Skripsi : Peranan Komunikasi Interpersonal terhadap Pelayanan diPoliklinik Gigi dan Mulut RSUDZA Banda AcehKomunikasi interpersonal antara dokter gigi dengan pasien merupakan faktor penting untuk proses maupun hasil pelayanan medik gigi dan mulut menjadi optimal. Terdapat lima syarat untuk menciptakan komunikasi interpersonal yaitu sikap positif, merasakan perasaan orang lain, sikap mendukung, keseimbangan antara pelaku komunikasi serta sikap dan keinginan untuk terbuka. RSUDZA merupakan rumah sakit rujukan di Provinsi Aceh yang mempunyai tugas dan fungsi memberikan pelayanan kesehatan bagi seluruh masyarakat termasuk pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut tersebut adalah poliklinik gigi dan mulut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peranan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut di Poliklinik Gigi dan Mulut RSUDZA. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional . Jumlah subjek penelitian adalah 222 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sesuai harapan pasien dengan peranan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap pelayanan di Poliklinik Gigi dan Mulut yaitu, sikap positif77,9%, merasakan perasaan orang lain 79,7%, sikap mendukung 79,7%, keseimbangan antara pelaku komunikasi 79,3%, sikap dan keinginan untuk terbuka 79,7% namun secara keseluruhan pelayanan poliklinik mencapai 88,3%. Hasil Uji chi-square terhadap teknik komunikasi interpersonal menunjukkan sikap positif dengan nilai p = 0,021, merasakan perasaan orang lain dengan nilai p = 0,000, sikap mendukung dengan nilai p = 0,000, keseimbangan antara pelaku komunikasi dengan nilai p = 0,000, sikap dan keinginan untuk terbuka dengan nilai p = 0,001 memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap pelayanan Poliklinik Gigi dan Mulut RSUDZA.Kata kunci: komunikasi interpersonal, Pelayanan Poliklinik Gigi dan MulutRSUDZA ABSTRACTName : Sisilia AsmaraStudy Program : DentistryTitle : Ther Role of Interpersonal Communication Integrated with Dental Health Service at Dental Clinic of RSUDZA Banda AcehInterpersonal communication between the patient's and dentist is an important factor to processed and results of dentalcare to be optimal. There are five conditions to creates interpersonal communication that is a positive attitude, feel the feelings of others, being supportive, the balance between communicators and the attitude and the desire to open. RSUDZA is a referral hospital in Aceh which has duties and functions of providing health care for all people one of whom dental health care. Dental health care is a dental clinic. The purpose of this study to determine the role of interpersonal communication to dental health care in Dental care RSUDZA Polyclinic Services. The research method was descriptive cross-sectional approach.Total sampel of this study 222 subject. The results showed as expected the patient to the role of interpersonal communication with the service at the dental care is 77.9% positiveness, 79,7% emphaty, 79,7% supportiveness, 79,3% equality, 79,7% openess, balance and a desire to open but the overall clinic services reached is 88,3%. Results of the Chi-Square of the techniques of interpersonal communication showed a positiveness to the value of p = 0.021, emphaty with the value p = 0.000, supportiveness to the value of p =0.000, equality with a value of p = 0.000, openess with a value of p = 0.001 has a significant relationship with the Dental care of RSUDZA Polyclinic services.Keywords: interpersonal communication, Dental care RSUDZA PolyclinicService
