Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is fast becoming the gold standard diagnostic tool for lameness in equines. This case report describes the MRI features of multiple phalangeal disorders in a 9-year-old horse with chronic unilateral forelimb lameness due to severe trauma. A complete case history was taken, and a thorough clinical examination, radiography, ultrasonography and MRI were performed. Radiography and ultrasonography showed limited value. MRI revealed edema of the navicular bursa (NB), distal sesamoidean impar desmitis, DDFT injury at navicular and post-navicular levels, cartilage erosion of the pastern and coffin joints, medial collateral desmitis of the fetlock joint, medial collateral sesamoidean desmitis, and lateral collateral desmitis of the coffin joint. In conclusion, severe trauma may induce multiple phalangeal disorders with severe pain in draft horses, and MRI is superior to other diagnostic imaging modalities, such as radiography and ultrasonography, for diagnosing such cases.Magnetska rezonancija (MR) ubrzano postaje zlatni standard u dijagnostici hromosti u konja. U ovom se radu opisuju značajke MR-a u dijagnostici višestrukih falangealnih ozljeda u devetogodišnjeg konja s kroničnom unilateralnom hromošću prednjih ekstremiteta uzrokovanom teškom traumom.

This paper evaluates the impact of multi-5G small cell systems on the energy efficiency (EE) in a Fifth Generation (5G) of cellular networks. Both the proposed model and the analysis of the EE in this study take into account (i) the path losses, fading, and shadowing that affect the received signal at the user equipment (UE) within the same cell, and (ii) the interference effects of adjacent cells. In addition, the concepts of new technologies such as large MIMO in millimeter range communication have also been considered. The simulation results show that the interference from adjacent cells can degrade the EE of a multi-cell cellular network. With the high interference the number of bits that will be transferred per joule of energy is 1.29 Mb/J with a 0.25 GHz bandwidth and 16 transmit antennas. While, with a 1 GHz bandwidth the transfer rate increases to 5.17 Mb/J. Whereas, with 64 transmit antennas the EE improved to 5.17 Mb/J with a 0.25 GHz BW and 20.70 Mb/J with a 1 GHz BW. These results provide insight into the impact of the number of antennas in millimeter range communication and the interference from adjacent cells on achieving real gains in the EE of multi-5G small cells cellular network

Pseudomonas aeruginosa USM-AR2 culture was proven to produce a glycolipid type biosurfactant, rhamnolipid. Fed-batch cultivation of P. aeruginosa USM-AR2 with different feeding strategies was carried out in bioreactor to increase the rhamnolipid production and productivity. The quantification of cell biomass, rhamnolipid produced and rhamnolipid activity were determined using absorbance measurement, orcinol assay and surface tension measurement. Batch cultivation in bioreactor gave a biomass of 9.4 g L-1 and rhamnolipid of 2.35 g L-1 in 72 hours. Fed-batch cultivation with pulse feeding strategy using diesel as carbon substrate was carried out at different feeding time interval. The best feeding mode was recorded to be 12 h-feeding interval which resulted in 12.6 g L-1 of biomass and 3.13 g L-1 of rhamnolipid achieved in shorter time, 48 hours cultivation. Higher productivity was achieved by gradually feeding the carbon source while maintaining the optimal culture conditions, which was 0.065 g L-1 h-1 compared to batch culture, 0.033 g L-1 h-1.The highest biomass and rhamnolipid production, 24.1 g L-1 and 13.4 g L-1, respectively was obtained when multiple substrates were fed (diesel and yeast extract). However the productivity was lower, 0.054 g L-1 h-1 due to the extension of working time

Background: Limited data are available about the prevalence of helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection among primary NS children. Objectives: To assess the frequency and risk factors of H.pylori infection among children with primary NS. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out in Mansoura University Children\u2019s Hospital, Egypt during the period from 2017 to 2019 including 100 NS children (NS group) and 100 healthy controls. NS group included 88 steroid sensitive (SSNS) and 12 steroid resistant (SRNS) cases. All patients were assessed for H.pylori infection using H.pylori stool antigen (HpSA) test. Statistical analysis was done using chi-square, fisher exact and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: With regard to HpSA test results, no significant differences were detected between control and NS groups (p = 0.193) and between SSNS and SRNS groups (p = 0.286). Concerning total biopsied cases and MCD (proven plus presumed) cases, no significant differences were found between those with positive and negative HpSA test (p = 0.648 and 0.126, respectively). The high dose of steroid therapy was associated with a higher risk of H.pylori infection among NS group (Odds ratio = 3.8; 95% confidence interval = 1.3-11.3). Conclusion: The current study negates the increased risk of H.pylori infection in children with primary NS

The role of intelligence techniques is becoming more significant in detecting and diagnosis of medical data. However, the performance of such methods is based on the algorithms or technique. In this paper, we develop an intelligent technique using multiobjective evolutionary method hybrid with a local search approach to enhance the backpropagation neural network. First, we enhance the famous multiobjective evolutionary algorithms, which is a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II). Then, we hybrid the enhanced algorithm with the local search strategy to ensures the acceleration of the convergence speed to the non-dominated front. In addition, such hybridization get the solutions achieved are well spread over it. As a result of using a local search method the quality of the Pareto optimal solutions are increased and all individuals in the population are enhanced. The key notion of the proposed algorithm was to  show a new technique to settle automaticly artificial neural network design problem. The empirical results generated by the proposed intelligent technique evaluated by applying to the breast cancer dataset and emphasize the capability of the proposed algorithm to improve the results. The network size and accuracy results of the proposed method are better than the previous methods. Therefore, the method is then capable of finding a proper number of hidden neurons and error rates of the BP algorithm
