La atención que se ofrece en el servicio de guardia del Hospital Enfermeros Argentinos; está establecida según el nivel de prioridad, ya que contempla signos y síntomas, priorizando urgencias y emergencias. El presente estudio pretende identificar el nivel de satisfacción que poseen los pacientes adultos mayores de 15 años que asistieron a este servicio durante los meses de Marzo a Junio del año 2013, donde se realizaron entrevistas semi estructuradas al azar. Por otra parte, la satisfacción del personal de enfermería es una variable que influye en forma directa hacia el paciente y la calidad del servicio prestado, para su medición se efectuó encuestas al personal de enfermería. El resultado obtenido es un 86% de satisfacción del paciente y un 78% de satisfacción laboral del personal de enfermería. Este estudio permitió identificar aspectos que deberán ser mejorados, disminuyendo factores que afecten la calidad percibida por parte de los pacientes.Fil: Galdame. José. On the Existence and Information of Orthogonal Moments

Locally Robust (LR)/Orthogonal/Debiased moments have proven useful with machine learning first steps, but their existence has not been investigated for general parameters. In this paper, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition, referred to as Restricted Local Non-surjectivity (RLN), for the existence of such orthogonal moments to conduct robust inference on general parameters of interest in regular semiparametric models. Importantly, RLN does not require either identification of the parameters of interest or the nuisance parameters. However, for orthogonal moments to be informative, the efficient Fisher Information matrix for the parameter must be non-zero (though possibly singular). Thus, orthogonal moments exist and are informative under more general conditions than previously recognized. We demonstrate the utility of our general results by characterizing orthogonal moments in a class of models with Unobserved Heterogeneity (UH). For this class of models our method delivers functional differencing as a special case. Orthogonality for general smooth functionals of the distribution of UH is also characterized. As a second major application, we investigate the existence of orthogonal moments and their relevance for models defined by moment restrictions with possibly different conditioning variables. We find orthogonal moments for the fully saturated two stage least squares, for heterogeneous parameters in treatment effects, for sample selection models, and for popular models of demand for differentiated products. We apply our results to the Oregon Health Experiment to study heterogeneous treatment effects of Medicaid on different health outcomes

Global conformal diagram of a black hole with angular momentum

We present the first explicit global conformal diagram of Kerr spacetime and discuss some implications on the causal structure. For this construction we use a new double null coordinate system for Kerr spacetime, which we have recently presented. These null coordinates are smooth everywhere and are naturally adapted to the horizons and to the null infinities. In this setting there naturally appears a family of spheres that are parameterized by r s , which are the intersections of both null coordinates, and r s can be thought of as the extension of the tortoise coordinate for the Kerr spacetime.Fil: Argañaraz, Marcos Ariel. The spider Micrathena shealsi Chickering, 1960 (Araneae, Araneidae): description of the male, with new data on its geographic distribution

The male of Micrathena shealsi Chickering, 1960 is described and illustrated for the first time. New geographic records of this species are provided, revealing that M. shealsi inhabits the higher altitudinal belts (1000–3000 m) of the Yungas ecoregion (mountain forests and rainforests from Argentina). Lactic acid bacteria isolated from poultry protect the intestinal epithelial cells of chickens from in vitro wheat germ agglutinin-induced cytotoxicity

Poultry fed on wheat-based diets regularly ingest wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) that has toxic effects in vitro on intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) obtained from 14-d-old broilers. Cytotoxicity and the potential role of 14 intestinal bacterial strains in the removal of bound lectins in epithelial cell cultures were investigated. Cytotoxicity was dependent on time and lectin concentration; the lethal dose (LD50) was 8.36 µg/ml for IEC exposed for 2 h to WGA. Complementary sugars to WGA were detected on the surface of one Enterococcus and 9 Lactobacillus strains isolated from poultry. These strains were evaluated as a lectin removal tool for cytotoxicity prevention. Incubation of lactic acid bacteria with WGA before IEC–lectin interaction caused a substantial reduction in the percentage of cell deaths. The protection was attributed to the amount of lectin bound to the bacterial surfaces and was strain-dependent. L. salivarius LET 201 and L. reuteri LET 210 were more efficient than the other lactic acid bacteria assayed. These results provide a basis for the development of probiotic supplements or cell-wall preparations of selected lactic acid bacteria intended to avoid harmful effects of a natural constituent of the grain in wheat-based diets.Fil: Babot, Jaime Daniel. Aguas y ciudad en San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, siglos XVII-XVIII

Este trabajo presentará los resultados más relevantes de una investigación de carácter histórico, geográfico y antropológico llevada adelante en la ciudad de San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca (Catamarca, Argentina). La investigación pretendió analizar las relaciones entre personas y aguas, así como el modo en que esas relaciones construyen (o nos permiten comprender) a la ciudad como entidad compleja, cuyas condiciones de posibilidad involucran fuerzas geográficas, humanas y no-humanas variadas. El marco temporal del análisis se extiende entre los siglos XVII y XVIII, centrándose en los momentos cercanos a la fundación de la ciudad en el año 1683. Historizar las fuerzas que permiten la fundación y permanencia de la ciudad nos permite, asimismo, conceptualizarlas en un sentido que trasciende el caso y el tiempo trabajados. Las herramientas metodológicas que dieron lugar a esta investigación están basadas en la Teoría del Actor Red (Latour, 2008). El eje de problematización propuesto por esta teoría tiene que ver con indagar en las relaciones entre personas y materialidades, las cuales permitirían resignificar lo “social” (y lo urbano), y comprenderlos desde un lugar menos atado a las compartimentaciones disciplinares y los presupuestos de nuestra propia sociedad, lo cual hace de esta metodología una herramienta de gran interés para la historia urbana.This work aims to present the most relevant results of a historical, geographical and anthropological research, conducted in San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca city (Catamarca, Argentina). The research analyzed the relations between water and people, and the modes in which those relations built the city as a complex entity, whose conditions of possibility involve diverse geographical, human and no human forces. The temporal frame of the analysis takes the 17th and 18th centuries, focusing in the moments close to the foundation of the city in the year 1683. To study the historical forces that allowed the origin and maintenance of the city let us also to conceptualize them in a way that transcends the case and time analyzed. The methodological tools used in this research are based in the Actor-Network Theory (Latour, 2008). The problematization axis proposed for this theory is to investigate the relations between people and things, people and material world, as a way to understand the “social” and the “urban” from a place less attached to the disciplinary compartmentations, and the prejudices of our own society. This makes the ANT a methodology of great interest for urban history.Este trabalho apresentará os resultados mais relevantes de uma pesquisa histórica, geográfica e antropológica realizada na cidade de San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca (Catamarca, Argentina). Seu objetivo é analisar as relações entre pessoas e águas, assim como a maneira a través de qual estas relações são construídas (ou nos permitem entender) a cidade como uma entidade complexa, cujas condições de possibilidade envolvem variadas forças geográficas, humanas e não humanas. O enquadramento temporal da análise estende-se entre os séculos XVII e XVIII com foco nos momentos próximos à fundação da cidade no ano 1683. POLÍTICA CRÍTICA, CONDICIONES PARA LA EMANCIPACIÓN

This work aims to think of an articulation between the critical theories and political philosophies. Starting from considering critical theories as any theory that questions, in a global way, the existing social order (Keucheyan: 2013) and considering politics as an institution of freedom (Arendt, 2003; Abensour, 2005), I seek to make emerge, through the notion of emancipation, a relationship between the criticism of Michel Foucault and a political philosophy. The commitment to a critical political philosophy consists of trying to remember the importance, both at the level of discourse and actions, of the analysis of our present and future projections of political, social, economic, educational organization, because both and in conjunction they mark the strategies in the struggles against a neoliberal and patriarchal system.Este trabajo se propone pensar una articulación entre las teorías críticas y las filosofías políticas. A partir de considerar las teorías críticas como toda teoría que pone en tela de juicio, de manera global, el orden social existente (Keucheyan: 2013) y de considerar la política como institución de la libertad (Arendt, 2003; Abensour, 2005), busco hacer emerger, a través de la noción de emancipación, una relación entre la crítica de Michel Foucault y una filosofía política. La apuesta por una filosofía política crítica consiste en intentar recordar la importancia, tanto al nivel del discurso como de las acciones, que tiene el análisis de nuestro presente y las proyecciones futuras de organización política, social, económica, educativa, porque ambas y en conjunción marcan las estrategias en las luchas contra un sistema neoliberal y patriarcal
