Pengaruh Penganggaran Partisipatif dan Tekanan Anggaran terhadap Senjangan Anggaran dengan Locus Of Control sebagai Variabel Moderasi (Studi pada Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah Kota Palu)

The aim of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of partial independent variables are a participatory budgeting and a budgetary emphasis to the dependent variable budgetary slack with locus of control as a moderating variable throughout SKPD city of Palu. This research is a quantitative research using a census sampling method by distributing questionnaires to entire SKPD city of Palu. Simple regression analysis and residual test, which supported by SPSS version 21,00 are used. The result of this research suggests that participatory budgeting has a negative significant effect towards the budgetary slack, while budget emphasis has a positive significant effect. Locus of control is not moderating variables that influence the effect of participatory budgeting and budget emphasis to budgetary slack in SKPD city of Palu

TRADISI POHAMBA-HAMBA DALAM MEMBUKA LAHAN PERTANIAN PADA MASYARAKAT KALEDUPA KABUPATEN WAKATOBI.

Tradisi pohamba-hamba merupakan kegiatan pembersihan kebun biasanya dilakukan oleh dua sampai lima orang, bahkan lebih. Kegiatan ini juga dilakukan oleh perempuan. Kegiatan pohamba-hamba biasanya dilaksanakan selama dua sampai tiga jam seharian berganti-gantian. Tradisi ini masih terus dilakukan hingga kini dengan tujuan menjalin kekerabatan dan rasa kebersamaan. Sementara itu, proses tradisi pohamba-hamba dilakukan dari musyawarah para sesama petani yang didalamnya membahas mengenai penentuan orang yang akan ikut dan penetuan waktu. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan dan fungsi tradisi pohamba-hamba dalam membuka lahan pertaian pada masyarakat di Desa Sandi Kecamatan Kaledupa Selatan Kabupaten Wakatobi. Penelitian Ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Struktural fungsionalisme dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Etnografi dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik pengamatan (observation) dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pada umumnya sebuah pekerjaan terasa ringan bila dikerjakan secara bersama-sama. Hal tersebut juga menggambarkan tradisi pohamba-hamba yang memiliki fungsi untuk mempermudah pekerjaan saat pengolahan lahan. Tradisi pohamba-hamba juga dapat diartikan sebagai hubungan resiprositas, maka secara otomatis akan terjalin sistem kekerabatan antar sesama petani. Lanjut daripada itu, dalam melakukan aktivitas pengolahan lahan, para petani menggunakan peralatan yang sederhana seperti parang, cangkul dan celurit yang dugunakan sesaui kebutuhan. Sementara itu, cara manual dengan menggunakan tangan dilakukan hanya pada saat mencabut rumput alang-alang hingga akar-akarnya, sehingga akan membutuhkan waktu lama untuk kembali tumbuh

PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA TENTANG PERUBAHAN KENAMPAKAN BUMI DI KELAS IV SDN No 1 SALUMBONE

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasilbelajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA tentang perubahan kenampakan alam melalui penerapan metode demonstrasi di kelas IV SDN No. 1 Salumbone.Siswa yang terlibat sejak penelitian adalah kelas IV yang berjumlah 25 orang pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan  kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi hasil belajar siswa, hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa diambil dari lembar observasi kegiatan guru dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukan bahwa pada aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus 1 masuk kategori cukup, sedangkan pada siklus II aktivitas guru dan siswa berada dalam kategori baik dan pada siklus III aktivitas guru dan siswa berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Adapun hasil belajar siswapada siklus 1, diperoleh presentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 52% dan nilai rata-rata 62,4%, meningkat pada siklus II persentase ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 76% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar 72,4%, kemudian pada siklus III persentase ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 92% dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar mencapai 79,6.Kesimpulan  bahwa perbaikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN No. 1 Salumbone. Kata kunci: Metode Demonstrasi, Hasil Belajar, IPA

Estimasi Dampak Fiskal Penggunaan NIK Sebagai NPWP: Sebuah Studi Empiris

One of the important points regulated in the Law on Harmonization of Tax Regulations is the use of the National Identity Number (NIN) as the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Logically, this policy will multiply the number of taxpayers and tax revenues. However, the uncertainty of macro-economic conditions as a result of global economic shocks and the recovery process from the COVID-19 pandemic makes the impact resulting from the integration of NIN and TIN difficult to predict. By employing the Okun's Law and the Phillips Curve approach, this study attempts to estimate the fiscal impact of this policy. This study found that the use of NIN as a TIN will increase the number of registered taxpayers by 1.3 million to 12.74 million taxpayers during the first to five year after the implementation of the policy. In addition, this study also found that this policy will enlarge the fiscal capacity especially from the Income Tax Article 21 by 52.35% to 123.06% annum. Salah satu poin penting yang diatur dalam Undang – undang Harmonisasi Peraturan Perpajakan adalah penggunaan Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) sebagai Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP). Secara logis, penggunaan NIK sebagai NPWP akan meningkatkan jumlah Wajib Pajak dan penerimaan pajak secara berkali lipat. Namun demikian, ketidakpastian kondisi makro-ekonomi sebagai akibat guncangan ekonomi global dan proses pemulihan dari pandemi covid-19 membuat dampak yang dihasilkan dari penggunaan NIK sebagai NPWP menjadi sulit untuk diprediksi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Hukum Okun dan Kurva Phillips, penelitian ini berusaha mengestimasikan dampak fiskal kebijakan tersebut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan NIK sebagai NPWP akan meningkatkan jumlah Wajib Pajak sebesar 1,3 juta sampai dengan 12,74 juta Wajib Pajak pada tahun pertama hingga tahun kelima setelah kebijakan tersebut diimplementasikan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa integrasi NIK dengan NPWP akan meningkatkan kapasitas fiskal dari sisi setoran PPh Pasal 21 sebesar 52,35% sampai dengan 123,06% per tahun. Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan data dan metode yang lebih komprehensif dalam mengevaluasi penggunaan NIK sebagai NPWP

Analysis of Mythology in Rick Riordan’s novel “The Red Pyramid”

This thesis studied about analysis of Mythology in Rick Riordan‟s novel “The Red pyramid”. The thesis aims of analyzingthe kinds of Mythological symbol and describe meaning of Mythological symbol in the novel. The writer used semiotic analysis approach to find the kinds of mythological symbols and describe the meaning of mythological symbol in the novel. Then the writer used note taking as the instrument. Along this instrument, the writer read the novel, and then taking note cards to analyze the mythological symbols kinds on the novel, after that the kinds of mythological symbols was written down on the card and the writer classified the kinds of mythological symbol and described the meaning of mythological symbol expression from the novel. In this thesis, the writer found five kinds of mythological symbol in the novel. Those are object, character, sense, setting, and action. Objects; usually the symbols we find in the literature are inanimate objects, such as glass, rose, ring, and chair, Characters; symbolic characters in some fiction or plays are not well rounded and fully known, but are seen fleeting and remain slightly mysterious, Sense; sometimes a symbol addressees a sense rather than sight, Setting; in fiction or play, feature of physical photograph can provide rich suggestion, Action; a symbolic act is a gesture with large significant meaning than usual.Then, the writer also described the meaning of mythological symbol expression that carried out by author in the novel. This thesis implicates to tell people how kinds of mythological symbol have become variation in the work. Besides, this thesis can stimulate the students of English Literature to learn more about mythology in culture and the society

Social Impacts of Industrial Revolution in Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist

Literature from across academic disciplines has demonstrated significant links between emotional valence and language. For example, Whissell’s Dictionary of Affect in Language defines three dimensions upon which the emotionality of words is describable, and Ekman’s Theories of Emotion include the perception and internalization of facial expressions. The present study seeks to expand upon these works by exploring whether holding facial expressions alters the fundamental speech properties of spoken language. Nineteen (19) participants were seated in a soundproof chamber and were asked to speak a series of pseudowords containing target phonemes.  The participants spoke the pseudowords either holding no facial expression, smiling, or frowning, and the utterances recorded using a high-definition microphone and phonologically analyzed using PRAAT analysis software. Analyses revealed a pervasive gender differences in frequency variables, where males showed lower fundamental but higher formant frequencies compared to females. Significant main effects were found within the fundamental and formant frequencies, but no effects were discerned for the intensity variable. While intricate, these results are indicative of an interaction between the activity of facial musculature when reflecting emotional valence and the sound properties of speech uttered simultaneously
