The morphological changes in the egg, larval and juvenile stages of Liza carinata with growth were investigated in reared and wild specimens. L. carinata could be distinguished from L. haematocheila which is likely to spawn concurrently in time and space in the egg, larva, and juvenile stages. The eggs hatch within 45-102 h after fertilization in water of15-21 °C, corresponding to the temperature in the spawning ground. A newly-hatched larva averages 2.1 mm in total length. The anlage of the caudal fin appears in the larva of around 3.4 mm and the juvenile stage is attained at a length of 8.9 mm. L. haematocheila is distinguished fly its larger size in the egg and larval stages. The melanophores located on the top of the head and the rear end of the tail in L. carinata may also serve as distinguishing marks in the larval stages. The longer extension of the mid-lateral melanophore row in L. carinata distinguishes them in the juvenile stage. The characteristic dorsal ridge in L. carinata (which does not occur in L. haematocheila) appears after a total length of 30mm is reached

The indigenous people are rich with unique customs and culture that have been passed down through ages. These people are deeply influenced by the beliefs of animism and nature. They uphold the custom practised in all aspects of life. The presence of Islam at the centre of their lives brought significant changes in the framework of religious life to the belief in the Oneness of God and at the same time clashes occurred with local custom. To oppose the tradition means to create disagreement with the locals and erode their identity which will lead to conflict if it is not managed in harmony. Nevertheless, Islam is a universal religion which is able to play a role in interacting with local customs through various instruments, including the `urf. In this regard, this study aims to discuss the role of `urf in managing the culture of the indigenous people. To achieve the objective, the researchers have utilized the library research by referring to the literatures related to the discussion of Islamic scholars in various disciplines of fiqh and usūl al-fiqh. The research found that the tradition of the indigenous people can be maintained, either to be fully accepted when it is not contradicted to the Islamic law, or to be modified so it will be parallel with the standard of the `urf. Whereas, tradition which violates the law especially the practice of animism is intransigently rejected.

Rice husk charcoal converter machine is very important to our country because almost all citizens in Malaysia eat rice, then we need one machine to help the paddy industry grow easily and faster with high quality. This project is to design and fabricate a machine to convert the rice husk into char stage for the nursery growing process The first phase of the project is to identify the strategy in producing char so as to fulfill the requirements of paddy plantation. The solution here is to design and fabricate a prototype of converting rice husk based on problems and user requirements in the agriculture sector. From the information gathered and studied, problems had been identified and the user requirement had been listed. The user requirement will then be analyzed in order to get the important features and produce engineering specification of converting the rice husk. The analysis of the requirement and the design specification has been used to create the system and the design concept of the converting rice husk. Finally, the furnace of the rice husk converter machine has been fabricated successfully
