Les deux textes recensés offrent un bon exemple de la façon dont l’anthropologie sociale américaine approche l’étude des minorités ethniques de l’espace sibérien post-soviétique. L’ouvrage de Andrei Golovnev et Gail Oshrenko, tout d’abord, est le fruit d’une collaboration entre un ethnologue russe et une juriste américaine. Il est consacré à l’étude d’une communauté Nénetse de la péninsule de Yamal au nord-ouest de la Sibérie, adoptant un mode de vie semi-nomade fondé sur l’élevage du renne. ..

Les mots/maux de l’etnografiâ

Ce texte, qui s’ouvre sur une brève présentation du cadre théorique, méthodologique et historique dans lequel s’est constituée, développée puis transformée l’ethnologie russe et soviétique, aborde le contenu implicite du lexique utilisé en Russie, et le sens qu’y prennent des termes tels qu’ethnologie, ethnographie, folklore, anthropologie et culturologie.Partant du bilan d’une décennie, qui a mené l’anthropologie soviétique de la glasnost’ aux sciences sociales en contexte néo‑libéral, l’auteur de ce texte s’interroge ensuite sur la portée des changements observables dans l’univers de la recherche, de l’enseignement et de l’édition scientifique russe post-soviétique, et sur l’ethnologie dont il est désormais question dans un tel contexte.This text, which begins with a brief presentation of the theoretical, methodological and historical framework within which Russian and Soviet ethnology was formed, developed and then transformed, examines the implicit content of the vocabulary used in Russia and the meaning which terms such as ethnology, ethnography, folklore, anthropology and culturology have there. On the basis of an assessment of a decade which has led the Soviet anthropology of glasnost to the social sciences in a neo-liberal context, the author then considers the impact of the changes which are observable in the world of research, teaching and academic publishing in post-Soviet Russia, and the future of ethnology in such a context

L’identité individuelle est marquée en Russie par plusieurs éléments de nomination qui varient tant par leur nature, que par les règles qui régissent leur attribution et leur usage. Cet article, qui s’appuie sur une enquête ethnographique menée dans la région de Jaroslavl’, s’intéresse plus spécifiquement aux enjeux qui marquent dans le contexte familial l’attribution du prénom (imja) et du prénom patronymique (otchestvo) en s’interrogeant sur les règles et les stratégies qui aboutissent à la mise en place de récurrences onomastiques. Il semble en effet que les manipulations des processus de nomination servent de support, en Russie centrale, à une construction de l’identité familiale à partir d’une mise en scène de la figure d’un ancêtre fondateur (rodonachal’nik). À travers la nomination, l’inscription dans une filiation garantit alors l’intégration des individus dans le jeu élargi des relations sociales.The stakes involved in name attribution at the family and social levels. – In Russia, a person’s identity is indicated by several elements which vary both in nature and according to the rules governing their attribution and use. The present article, which is based on an ethnographic survey conducted in the region of Iaroslavl’, focuses on the stakes involved in first-name (imia) and patronymic (otchestvo) attribution in the context of the family, and investigates the rules and strategies leading to onomastic recurrences. It seems indeed that in Central Russia, the name-giving process is part of a strategy which consists in providing a basis for the construction of a family’s identity by giving prominence to a founding ancestor (rodonachal’nik). Once belonging to a filiation is marked by name attribution, it then guarantees an individual’s integration in the larger social context

Trabajamos en las tensiones entre dos continentes en permanente disputa: "sangre" y "política", "realidad" y "dispositivo", "naturaleza" y "cultura". Son viejos asuntos, y viejas tensiones, pero que no dejan de actualizarse y que ahora se manifiestan por doquier en cuestiones como la biometría, los mapas genéticos, la identificación de desaparecidos, las políticas de la identidad indígena o de género o de menores o de drogas, la gestación subrogada o la gestión de la marginalidad. Los diez textos recogidos en este número especial discuten desde una mirada interdisciplinaria sobre la presencia de la sangre -en sus distintas declinaciones- en la definición contemporánea de lo que entendemos por identidad, derechos humanos o ciudadanía.We work on the tensions between two continents in permanent dispute: "blood" and "politics", "reality" and "device", "nature" and "culture". They are old issues, and old tensions, but they do not stop updating and now they are manifested everywhere in issues such as biometrics, genetic maps, identification of disappeared, policies of indigenous identity or gender or underage or drugs, surrogate pregnancy or the management of marginality. The ten texts collected in this special issue discuss from an interdisciplinary perspective the presence of blood - in its different declensions - in the contemporary definition of what we understand by identity, human rights or citizenship
