    Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa pada proses pembelajaran geometri khususnya materi bangun ruang sisi datar di sekolah menengah pertama cenderung menggunakan rumus secara langsung dan penyajian materi yang tidak berkaitan dengan pengalaman kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga belum mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir geometri serta belum menumbuhkan motivasi peserta didik terhadap matematika. Hal tersebut mendasari untuk mendesain alur belajar dalam bentuk aktivitas berdasarkan pengalaman peserta didik (experience-based activities). Penelitian ini dilakukan guna menghasilkan desain pembelajaran geometri materi bangun ruang sisi datar berbasis Teori van Hiele dan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif bagi peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Secara operasional, desain pembelajaran terwujud dalam Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) pada buku pegangan guru dan buku pegangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan design research yang mengkombinasikan model Plomp dengan model Graveimeijer & Cobb dengan 3 tahap. Pada tahap pertama dilakukan penelitian pendahuluan (preliminary research) yang terdiri dari dari analisis kebutuhan, analisis kurikulum, analisis konsep, analisis karakteristik dan literature review. Pada fase kedua dilakukan tahap pembuatan prototipe (prototyping phase) dengan serangkaian formative evaluation: self evaluation, validasi ahli, one-to-one evaluation dan small group. Selanjutnya fase ketiga dilakukan tahap penilaian (assessment phase) melalui field test dan melakukan refleksi terhadap alur belajar peserta didik. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Padang, SMP Negeri 7 Padang dan SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran geometri materi bangun ruang sisi datar berbasis Teori van Hiele dan RME sudah valid, praktis dan efektif. Valid dari segi isi, bahasa, penyajian dan tampilan. Praktis dari segi daya tarik, proses penggunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, alokasi waktu dan ekivalensi produk. Efektif dari segi dampak potensialnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir geometri peserta didik serta dapat meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran geometri. The previous studies showed that in geometric learning process especially on polyhedra material in junior high schools tended to use direct formulas and its contents were not related to students’ experiences in their daily lives, so it could not be able to improve students’ geometric thinking, and did not make them motivated on mathematics yet. It became the very basic reason why a learning cycle based on students’ experience activities was design. This study aimed to produce Local Instructional Theory (LIT) geometric learning on polyhedra material based on Van Hiele’s theory and Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) which met valid, practice, and effective criteria for junior high school students. Optionally, the LIT design will be used as a handbook by teachers and students. This research is a combination of Plomp and Graveimeijer & Cobb model which consist of three phases. On the first phase, a preliminary research was conducted that consisted of needs, curriculum, concepts, characteristic analysis and literature review. On the second phase, a prototype was design with several formative evaluations: self-evaluation, expert validity, one-to-one evaluation, and small group. The third phase was assessment through a field test by doing reflection toward students’ learning cycle. Subjects of this research were students in Junior High School 1 Padang on eight grade, Junior High School number 7 and 25 Padang. The data collection techniques used in this study was interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. After that, the data were analyzed by using descriptive and statistics test. From the research done by using LIT based on Van Hiele’s theory and RME, it showed valid criteria with characteristics: activities in LIT facilitated the students to do vertical and horizontal mathematics process, interactive, students-based, and reflected their art of knowledge from RME. The research product also met the practice criteria which LIT could be applied in all levels of students, helped them to find the concepts, develop their geometric thinking, and the time provided was fair enough to reach the learning goals. LIT based on Van Hiele’s theory and RME met the affective criteria which gave positive effect toward students’ geometric thinking to motivate them in learning geometry

    Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis Problem Based Learning Materi Sistem Pertidaksamaan Dua Variabel

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik sistem pertidaksamaan dua variabel berbasis Problem Based Learning siswa kelas X IIS 2 SMA dan mendeskripsikan kualitas lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kevalidan dan kepraktisan lembar kerja peserta didik Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang peneliti ambil empat langkah pengembangan antara lain a. analisis, b. perancangan, c. pengembangan, dan d. penerapan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sembilan orang siswa kelas X IIS 2 dengan kriteria 3 orang tinggi, 3 orang sedang, dan 3 orang rendah untuk penilaian lembar kerja peserta didik Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa,serta hasil belajar siswa pada lembar kerja peserta didik Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan mengalami revisi berdasarkan komentar dan saran perbaikan dari validator, guru, dan siswa. Kerja peserta yang dikembangkan dikategori baik, karena karyawan peserta peserta didik kualitas kriteria skor rata-rata yaitu 70 dengan kategori kevalidan “sangat valid”, dan kriteria kepraktisan diperoleh skor yaitu 56,22 dengan kategori kepraktisan “praktis” pada uji coba sembilan siswa

    Teacher’s competence is very influential on the mathemathics instructionin class. Therefore teacher’s competence should be improved and developedthrough a sustainable activity. One way to improve teacher competence is byholding Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education workshops (RME). Thisstudy uses qualitative research methods with descriptive approach. This researchwas conducted in SD Negeri Percobaan Padang. The results of data analysisshowed that: (1) the competence of teachers in planning and carrying out thelearning process with RME approach has also been increased by using the RMEworkshop. This increase is due to a continuous process of workshop, (2) theobstacles faced in the planning and carrying out the learning process with RMEapproach significantly is planning and using media of instruction mathematicsappropriate with mathematics subject matter. The obstacle was minimized bydiscussion and simulation at the workshop

    Pengembangan E-LKPD Berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education pada Materi Barisan dan Deret.

    The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and practical E-LKPD based on Realistic Mathematics Education at SMAN 2 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. This type of research is research development (Research & Development). The development model used is the Plomp development model. The stages used in this development model only reached the second stage, namely the preliminary research and prototyping phase. The instruments used in this study were validity questionnaires, practicality questionnaires and interview guidelines. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the RME-based E-LKPD developed obtained an E-LKPD validity of 80.486% with a very valid category. The final practicality score that obtained the E-LKPD practicality result was 82.832% with a very valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the RME-based E-LKPD on sequences and series material at SMAN 2 Koto Baru Dharmasraya is stated to be valid and practical for use by educators and students in learning activities

    Matematika merupakan ilmu yang sangat erat hubungannya dengan kehidupan sehari- hari dan merupakan konsep dasar bagi ilmu-ilmu lain. akan tetapi banyak guru yang mengeluh pada saat mempelajari matematika diantaranya guru kurang cekatan dan kurang terampil dalam menyelesaikan persoalan yang berhubungan dengan berhitung khususnya menyelesaikan persoalan dalam materi perkalian. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan kepada Guru-guru SDN 02 Lubuk Buaya dengan materi jarimatika perkalian, diharapkan dengan melatih Guru-Guru, nantinya akan berdampak kepada kemampuan guru dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar Matematika. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 4 kali pertemuan. Pesertanya adalah Guru- Guru SDN 02 Lubuk Buaya. Selama kegiatan berlangsung dapat dilihat semangat dan antusias yang tinggi dari peserta. Hasil evaluasi yang diadakan, menyatakan bahwa peserta sangat puas dengan hasil pelatihan ini dan menginginkan pelatihan ini dilanjutkan lagi

    Students' abilities can be developed through lectures,one of which is variable English for mathematics. In order for the maximum tuition required of a material that can support course lectures. In West Sumatra, Padang PGRI STKIP students only rely on one textbook only when the lectures, so the motivation and low student interest in learning. Therefore it takes a lecture materials that can help facilitate students in the lecture, which is a LKM. The purpose of this study is to develop a LKM valid, practical and effective in subjects STKIP PGRI English for mathematics in West Sumatra. This study is a research development. This LKM was developed by using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and desseminate). Phase desseminate not done. The data was collected with the validation and testing of the LKM. LKM is validated by the lecturer and expert English for mathematics, as well as Indonesian lecturers. Tests carried out on mathematics education students STKIP PGRI West Sumatra to know practicality and effectiveness of the LKM. The results showed that: LKM have been effective. This is evident from the activities of students and high motivation to learn after the lecture.Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika dapat dikembangkan melalui perkuliahan Bahasa Inggris untuk matematika. Agar kuliah maksimal diperlukan bahan ajar yang dapat mendukung proses perkuliahan. Mahasiswa hanya mengandalkan satu buku ketika kuliah, sehingga motivasi dan minat siswa dalam belajar menjadi rendah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan bahan kuliah berupa LKM yang dapat membantu memfasilitasi siswa dalam kuliah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKM yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk Matematika di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. LKM ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan validasi dan ujicoba LKM. LKM divalidasi oleh dosen dan pakar Bahasa Inggris untuk Matematika, serta Dosen Bahasa Indonesia. Ujicoba dilakukan pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Sumbar untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan efektivitas LKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: LKM telah efektif.     The background of this research by the limitations of teaching materials and learning that is still teacher-centered, especially on data presentation material. Problems related to the presentation of data are often encountered in the daily lives of students, but the material for presenting data in textbooks has not been linked to the daily lives of students. Linking learning materials with students' daily lives is able to help students understand data presentation material. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid and practical Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) based module on data presentation material. The type of research used is Research and Development with reference to the Plomp development model. The product developed is a module based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) on data presentation material. The instruments used are validation sheets, practical questionnaire sheets, and interview guidelines. The results of the validity show that the module based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) is already valid with a percentage of 78%. The results of the practicality test with mathematics teachers and students obtained a percentage of 89.756% with a very practical category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the module based on Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) is valid and practical to use in Data Presentation material at SMPN 1 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman Regency
