Una experiencia de evaluación formadora por compañeros

En el seminario permanente de innovación educativa en el que participamos nos hemos formado en el uso de la autoevaluación y la evaluación por compañeros para llevar a cabo la evaluación continua que ha venido de la mano de los nuevos grados. Este trabajo presenta la puesta en marcha de estas estrategias en una asignatura de Informática del Grado en Traducción e Interpretación de nuestra universidad, junto a unos primeros resultados.In the Permanent Educational Innovation Seminar which we are involved in, we have trained ourselves in the use of self-assessment and peer-based evaluation in order to carry out the continuous assessment that has come hand-in-hand with the new degree courses. This study presents the implementation of these strategies in a subject on computing in the Degree in Translation and Interpreting at our university, together with a summary of some of the early findings

Turistas y veraneantes ante el paisaje. La conquista del hábitat residencial turístico

Interpretar el concepto de ‘turismo’ como la colonización de un espacio nos ayuda a entender el fenómeno del hábitat turístico, así como la relación que guardan los turistas y veraneantes con el nuevo territorio conquistado. Desde esa óptica resulta oportuno estudiar estas transformaciones del paisaje a partir de las tipologías residenciales más habituales que las produjeron, especialmente en la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Para ello se analizarán dos modelos de arquitectura turística: los bloques aislados de apartamentos, vinculados directamente con la reinterpretación del movimiento moderno (1945-1975), y los conjuntos de viviendas unifamiliares adosadas, más relacionados con las derivas de la condición posmoderna (1975-2005). Y proponemos ilustrar ambos casos en la costa sur valenciana (desde Alicante hasta Torrevieja) atendiendo a la producción de un arquitecto que dedicó tiempo y esfuerzos a mejorar soluciones y alternativas: se trata de Antonio Serrano Brú. En este estudio podremos encontrar algunas claves que nos permitan, en el futuro, un turismo que haga compatibles las preferencias vacacionales del hombre contemporáneo con la conservación de la esencia de nuestro hábitat natural y antropizado.The definition of ‘tourism’ as the colonization of a territory might be helpful in understanding the phenomenon of tourist habitat and the relations between tourists and holidaymakers and their new conquered territory. From this perspective, it is appropriate that a study is carried out into these changes of the landscape by the research of the most common residential typologies that emerged in the skyline, particularly in the second half of the twentieth century. Consequently, two models of tourist architecture will be analized: the blocks of flats, a direct reinterpretation of the modern movement (1945-1975), and the sets of terraced houses, mainly related to the drift of the postmodern condition (1975-2005). The proposal of this study is to illustrate both cases in the south coast of Valencia (from Alicante to Torrevieja) based on the production of an architect who devoted time and effort to improve solutions and alternatives: this is Antonio Serrano Brú. In this study we‘ll find some clues that will make possible in the future a tourism able to reconcile the contemporary man´s holiday preferences with the conservation of the essence of our natural and antropic habitat

Diseño y Desarrollo de una unidad didáctica sobre desarrollo sostenible en maestros de educación primaria

One appears the design and development of a didactic unit on sustainable development for teachers of primary education, in the subjet of third course Sciences of the Nature and their Didactics, in which contents, strategies and activities in relation with the present scientific formation are gotten up that it wants to give answer to the necessities of the society of century XXI. Adecuación a las directrices europeas en Ciencias de la Naturaleza

The paper on the adaptation to European Directives of an essential subject is presented here: Natural Sciences and its Didactics of 3rd course for Future Teachers on Primary Education, realized during the academic year 2002-03. This research has been done following a Constructivist Methodology by organising learning in theoretical and practical classes, equivalences on the schedule, tutorial, and personal and group works of the students.Se presenta el trabajo de adecuación a las Directrices Europeas en la asignatura troncal: Ciencias de la Naturaleza y su Didactica de tercer curso de la Titulación de Maestros, especialidad de Educación Primaria, realizado en el curso académico 2002-03. Genetic diversity in fishery-exploited populations of the banded murex ("Hexaplex trunculus") from the southern Iberian Peninsula

[Abstract] This study presents an analysis of the genetic diversity in Hexaplex trunculus from three localities of the southern Iberian Peninsula (Ria Formosa and Ria de Alvor in Portugal, and Río Piedras in Spain) using three mitochondrial (12S rRNA, 16S rRNA and cytochrome c oxidase subunit I, COI) and one nuclear (5S rRNA and its non-transcribed spacer, NTS) genes. Restriction digestions of 12S and 16S rRNA genes using four endonucleases were also performed. Low genetic diversity was observed for the four genes studied. Genetic distances ranged from 0 to 0.004 for the mitochondrial genes and these values were slightly higher for the 5S and the NTS. The level of polymorphism within populations, π, was from 0 to 0.0039 (for mitochondrial genes), 0.0111–0.0333 (for 5S rRNA), and from 0.2220 to 0.5079 (for NTS). Furthermore, RFLPs analyses from 12S and 16S rRNA genes showed these localities to be monomorphic. The low genetic variability within populations suggests small population size, and a possible bottleneck due to multiple causes, such as overexploitation, the type of larval development (intracapsular embryos) and/or the peripheral location of the sampled localities considering the geographical distribution of the species. Because these populations show such high genetic similarity, Ria de Alvor and Río Piedras could be potentially used for stock enhancement of the Ria Formosa.Portugal. Study of graphene dispersions in sodium dodecylsulfate by steady-state fluorescence of pyrene

Hypothesis: Aqueous solutions of ionic surfactants allow the exfoliation of graphene, that can be explained considering the adsorption model of ionic surfactants to hydrophobic surfaces. For many years, pyrene has been used as a fluorescent probe because its sensitivity to the micro-environment. The study of pyrene fluorescence in the presence of different graphene dispersions in an ionic surfactant, would improve the knowledge of the graphene-surfactant interactions.Experiments: Different dispersions of graphene in sodium dodecylsulfate were prepared at different weight ratios 0.5, 1 and 2%. The dispersions have been studied by Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The influence of the dispersions on the pyrene fluorescence has been investigated.Findings: The graphene sheets modified by the surfactant quench the fluorescence of pyrene, which depends on the amount of graphene, the concentration of surfactant and the weight ratio. For surfactant concentrations below the critical micelle concentration, the quenching effect is higher as the weight ratio increases. Once this concentration is reached, the fluorescence increases slightly and then levels off. This behavior has been explained by the adsorption model. For a constant surfactant concentration, twostraight lines can be observed in the Stern-Volmer plots whose cut-off point is approximately 20 mg L-1 of graphene.Ministerio de Economía y CompetitividadUniversidad de Alcal

Escala de Miedo al Covid-19 en Estudiantes Universitarios Chilenos: Propiedades psicométricas e invarianza de medida

Los últimos acontecimientos relacionados con el Covid-19 han sido muy estresantes en la vida de los universitarios chilenos. A partir de lo anterior, es imperativo contar con un instrumento sólido para medir el miedo al Covid. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo estimar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Miedo al Covid-19 (FCV-19S) en una muestra de 562 estudiantes universitarios chilenos y confirmar su estructura factorial. Se realizó un análisis factorial confirmatorio y se estimaron los parámetros del modelo utilizando el método de mínimos cuadrados ponderados diagonalmente (DWLS). La evaluación de FCV-19S tuvo valores satisfactorios (ω = .94; α = .93). Los resultados mostraron que el modelo de dos factores correlacionados se ajusta mejor a los datos CFI = .993, TLI = .989, RMSEA = .053, SRMR = .049. Estos hallazgos sugieren que la FCV-19S tiene las propiedades psicométricas adecuadas para su aplicación en estudiantes universitarios chilenos.The latest events in the lives of university students in Chile have been very stressful quarantines, online classes, and fear of contagion. It is imperative to have a solid instrument to measure the fear of Covid. This research aims to estimate the psychometric properties of the ‘Fear of Covid-19 Scale (FCV-19S)’ in a sample of 562 Chilean university students and to confirm its factorial structure. Confirmatory factorial analyses were performed and model parameters were estimated using the diagonally weighted least squares (DWLS) method. The assessment of FCV-19S had satisfactory values (ω = .94; α = .93). The results showed that the two-correlated factor model best fit the data CFI = .993, TLI = .989, RMSEA = .053, SRMR = .049.
