O SAEB a partir do olhar de uma Professora de Ciências Naturais de uma escola municipal de Codó-MA

O presente artigo trata sobre a percepção de uma professora de Ciências Naturais dos anos finais do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública do município de Codó-MA sobre o Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica-Saeb. A pesquisa foi realizada entre o período de agosto e setembro de 2022 e contou com a participação da única professora de Ciências Naturais da referida escola. Esse trabalho foi realizado em colaboração com o Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Políticas Educacionais (GEPESPO) da Universidade Federal do Maranhão do Curso Interdisciplinar de Ciências Naturais/ Biologia. A metodologia do artigo fundamenta-se em uma pesquisa qualitativa com a utilização de entrevista e questionário semiestruturado desenvolvido na referida escola, tendo como foco de análise o materialismo histórico dialético, compreendendo o contexto escolar e suas contradições a partir da exigência das avaliações externas. Os resultados apontam que a escola desenvolve atividades preparatórias técnicas com foco apenas em Língua Portuguesa e Matemática, objetivando uma melhor colocação estatística e a competição entre instituições de ensino reverberando na ausência de uma formação pedagógica avaliativa que dialogue com outros componentes curriculares, e subsidie a melhoria da qualidade educacional do município. Essa pesquisa contribui para a necessidade pontual de uma concepção de avaliação formativa, lugares de diálogo entre a escola e a Universidade, quer por meio dos grupos de estudos, quer pela inclusão de componentes curriculares como Gestão educacional nos projetos políticos de cursos de licenciatura como uma política de formação inicial e continuada de professores/as para a educação básica pública

Fritz Müller, o naturalista darwinista do Museu Nacional do Rio de Janeiro

Fritz Müller (1822-1897), naturalista alemão residente no Brasil do século XIX, contribuiu com as ciências biológicas com mais de 264 artigos científicos. Foi naturalista viajante do Museu Nacional do Rio de Janeiro por quinze anos (1876-1891), período em que publicou treze artigos no periódico da Instituição. Este trabalho analisa o período em que Müller foi naturalista do Museu, e em particular, sua amizade com Charles Darwin (1809-1882); visto que, de um simples correspondente e coadjuvante defensor das ideias darwinianas, Müller pode ser compreendido como um pesquisador que, em parceria com Darwin e em diálogo frequente com o estudioso inglês, contribuiu para estabelecer o conjunto das teorias de evolução no século XIX

Performance Assessment of Brazilian Power Transmission and Distribution Segments using Data Envelopment Analysis

In this study, we conducted efficiency analyzes of both power transmission and distribution segments in Brazilian electricity sector. In order to accomplish these analyzes, DEA-VRS models, cost analysis and Window Analysis (WA) approaches were carried out. The results showed that overall efficiency and stability in the distribution sector are higher than in transmission sector, which suggest that distribution companies are better managed regarding their operational costs compared to those within transmission segment. Moreover, it was accounted that approximately R$ 21 billion could have been saved if DMUs (within distribution and transmission systems) analyzed had operated with maximum level of efficiency from 2008 to 2014. Consequently, energy tariff prices paid by each consumer could have also been lower. Projeto Ótimo de Pilares Esbeltos de Concreto Armado

O dimensionamento de pilares de concreto armado necessita atender às normalizações vigentes. Estruturas com pé-direito muito alto, ou duplo, podem conter pilares esbeltos. A utilização de pilares com índices de esbeltez entre 90 e 140 exige a consideração dos efeitos de segunda ordem pelo método do pilar-padrão ou pilar-padrão melhorado, com a curvatura da seção crítica obtida pelos diagramas de interação momento-força normal-curvatura (M, N, 1/r). Nesses casos, é obrigatória também a consideração da fluência. Este artigo se justifica pela pequena quantidade de estudos de pilares com este índice de esbeltez e será baseado na norma de procedimento para o projeto de estruturas de concreto (ABNT NBR 6118:2014). Definidas as verificações necessárias, o objetivo deste artigo passa a ser calcular a geometria otimizada (em função do custo de formas, aço e concreto) pelo método dos pontos interiores existente no software Matlab. Viscosupplementation in the treatment of articular temporomandibular disorders - Systematic review / Viscossuplementação no tratamento das desordens temporomandibulares articulares – Revisão sistemática

Vissupplementation is a minimally invasive and simple technique that replaces synovial fluid with intra-articular injection of hyaluronic acid (HA). This is a kind of treatment suitable for treating temporomandibular joint (TMD) diseases, such as osteoarthritis and disc displacement, with or without reduction.Aim: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the use of viscossuplementation in the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunctions. Material and Methods: The literature, for this, was searched in PubMed and Scielo databases, from 2009 to 2019, using "Viscosuplementation", "Hyaluronic Acid", "Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunctions" and "Osteoarthritis". Exclusion criteria were those that tested on animals and were not related to the subject. Seven selected layouts.Results: From the reading of the studies, it is believed that hyaluronic acid is beneficial in reducing pain levels, improving the patient's quality of life and mandibular function, even being superior to placebo. However, there are still studies that point out the differences in relation to this technique, due to the question of the molecular weight of HA, the number of sessions performed. Conclusion: Therefore, the patients with temporomandibular joint disorders may improve their clinical setting with a viscossupplementation function, however, greater product standardization and new research studies are needed

Eulerian Video Magnification for Cleaning and Inspection of Air Conditioning Ducts With Rover Robot

This paper presents a diversied artifice of a Rover robot prototype in order to inspect abnormalities in air conditioning ducts and ventilation through an integrated rotating high-resolution camera system Eulerian Video Magnification is a  method capable of revealing temporal  variations of a body in videos that are impossible to see with the naked eye. Using this method, it is possible to visualize the flow of microorganisms present in the ducts, in which the images are R.W. transmitted in real time to the operator, allowing the cleaning with rotating brushes that adapt themselves  according to the  pipeline geometry, linked to the rover making the removal of impurities which are found on the walls, as well as the application of fungicides and bactericides, and finally the mechanism structure allows the manipulation of small objects held by a claw, which ensures greater operating flexibility compared to existing systems on the market. Due to weather problems being the main responsible for the considerable rise in temperature around the world, this has led man to seek ways by which people have comfort in both residential and industrial context. The most widely used alternative to soften or even solve this problem indoors has been the use of air conditioning systems. Despite the many advantages that these systems provide, there is great concern with the quality of air being supplied to the user according to the procedures and requirements of NBR 15848: 2010

Uma análise crítica sobre as políticas públicas para Educação a Distância / A critical analysis of public policies for Distance Education

No cenário atual da educação a distância no Brasil existem muitas políticas públicas que procuram regular, avaliar, supervisionar, enfim, reger toda as complexidades desta modalidade educacional. Estas políticas públicas são representadas por leis, decretos, portarias, instruções normativas, referenciais e até mesmo por notas técnicas sem numeração específica. O objetivo deste artigo é fazer uma análise crítica destas normatizações. Sabemos que as políticas públicas são fundamentais e necessárias, mas muitas vezes as veremos contraditórias e confusas, o que permitem múltiplas percepções, interpretações e expectativas dos atores envolvidos.
