    Hydropower is a power plant (PLTA) that is very environmentally friendly because it is clean and does not pollute the environment compared to other plants. PLTA, one of which is located in Bengkulu Province, is a power plant that utilizes the potential energy of water. Where the source of the water propulsion produced for the process of generating electricity is from the Tes lake which is sourced from the Air Ketahun river and the Air Pauh river, Lebong Bengkulu. Where this PLTA uses a Francis type turbine with a horizontal position. PLTA has 7 turbine units, with units 1 and 2 being old units producing 2 x 600 KW of power, while units 3 โ€“ 7 producing 5 x 4400 KW of power, so the total installed power is 23,200 KW. One of the problems that often occurs in PLTA is the occurrence of disposition of the guide vane on the turbine, where this time we will find out the cause of the disposition and how to overcome it so that there is no disposition and find out the loss of disposition of the guide vane on the Francis unit 6 turbine at PLTA. With this research done, the disposition occurs, it is necessary to take corrective action so that the unit will stop operating and can affect the level of profitability of the company. So that the results of the unit's work if it operates 24 hours are approximately 82 million rupiah, repairs are carried out for 16 hours with a loss of approximately 55 million rupiah. The occurrence of disposition is caused by damage to the transrack so that large waste enters the turbine section.     Bengkulu Province from Kaur Regency to Moko-Moko Regency is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. So that many Bengkulu residents are fishermen and farmers. Of course, with abundant natural resources, there are some fish and agricultural products that have not been utilized optimally, for example, young fish on Bai Island which are still widely discarded and milled rice bran which is very cheap. On the other hand, there is a very big problem experienced by farmers or breeders in Bengkulu Province, namely the price of fish and poultry feed is very high, thus making fish and poultry farmers unable to survive because of the high cost of feed. To reduce the production cost of making pellets, a research was carried out on optimizing the operation of the pellet molding machine Type MKS-PLT 15 with dimensions of 340 x 150 x 325 mm, the power used was 450 watts and the voltage used was 220 v / 50 Hz. The research carried out looked at the machine operation at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, from the results of the research that had been carried out, it was found that the 25% machine operation cost of 6mm pellet printing was 0.00762 kwh/kg or Rp. 11.021/kg, machine operation 50% production cost 0.009901kwh/kg or Rp. 14.3039/kg machine operation 75% pellet production cost 0.01235kwh/kg or Rp. 17.842/kg while the machine operation is 100% pellet production cost of 0.01084 kwh/kg or Rp. 15.6605/kg. so that from the research carried out, it was found that the operation of the MKS-PLT15 pellet machine, the low production cost, was in machine operation 0-50% of the capacity of the pellet machine's ability to operate

Untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah pelayanan yang diterapkan dalam lingkungan fakultas dalam melayani pelanggan dimana dalam hal ini pelanggan tersebut adalah mahasiswa. Kepuasan terhadap layanan akademik merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan demi mencapai layanan yang berkulaitas yang menjamin kepuasan mahasiswa sebagai stakeholder utama dalam organisasi jasa pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk (1) mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap kualitas layanan akademik Fakultas Teknik Universitas Bengkulu dan (2) kualitas layanan akademik Fakultas Teknik Universitas Bengkulu.     The innovation CNC lathe is one of the machine tools with two axis. The X and Y axis are very influential in producing precision products the axis on the lathe because the axis on the lathe is as a tool for driving the chisel. To determine the precision or not of the motion of the axis, it is necessary to do a cutting test (Cutting Test) then the results of the cutting test are measured for precision using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). In the cutting test, the ISO 13041-6-M4 Series is used. In this cutting test, a radius of 50 mm is used, the test object can be reused, but the programmed radius should not be more than ยฑ 10% of the nominal radius. The circle deviation tolerance is 0.025 mm. From the measurements made, the largest error value is 1.825056 mm in the first measurement in the CW direction, while the smallest error value is 1.824025 mm in the three-way CCW measurement, the resulting deviation continues to increase along with the cutting direction. The magnitude of the deviation, and the motion between the X-axis and the Z-axis are not collaborating with each other and not constant. This is because from the starting point of the cut on the X axis to the Z axis the deviation is getting bigger. resulting in inaccurate results from the cutting test. From the cutting test and measurements made, it can be concluded that it is necessary to make improvements to the Z axis motion

    Low temperature hydrothermal synthesis of calcium phosphate ceramics: Effect of excess Ca precursor on phase behaviour

    1492-1500Low temperature hydrothermal exchange reaction has been used to synthesize calcium phosphate materials comprising hydroxyapatite and ฮฒ-tricalcium phosphate using CaO and NH4H2PO4 as calcium and phosphorus precursors respectively. The effect of excess of calcium precursor on phase behaviour of these materials has been investigated by varying CaO content (0, 10 and 20 mole% excess of 0.1 mole CaO) in the suspension. The as-synthesized paste has been dried followed by calcination at 700-1200 ยบC. Results show the formation of Ca-deficient apatite at the lower calcination temperature. Excess of CaO shifts the balance to hydroxyapatite formation at the higher calcination temperature such that ฮฒ-tricalcium phosphate, ฮฒ-tricalcium phosphate + hydroxyapatite and hydroxyapatite of higher purity are obtained with 0, 10 and 20 mole% excess CaO, respectively
