    Derivative spectrophotometric determination of trace lead in alloys and biological samples after separation and preconcentration with the ion pair of 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol and ammonium tetraphenylborate on microcrystalline

    Lead is quantitatively retained on 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol-ammonium tetraphenylborate with microcrystalline naphthalene or by a column method in the pH range 4.0–6.0 from a large volume of aqueous solutions of various samples. After filtration, the solid mass consisting of the lead complex and naphthalene was dissolved with 5 mL of dimethylformamide and the metal was determined by third derivative spectrophotometry. Lead complex can alternatively be quantitatively adsorbed on ammonium tetraphenylborate-naphthalene adsorbent packed in a column and determined similarly. About 0.2 mg of lead can be concentrated in a column from 300 mL of aqueous sample, where its concentration is as low as 0.7 ng/mL.     The Space Transportation Nodes Assumptions and Requirements task was performed as part of the Advanced Space Transportation Support Contract, a NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) study intended to provide planning for a Lunar Base near the year 2000. The original task statement has been revised to satisfy the following queries: (1) What vehicles are to be processed at the transportation node; (2) What is the flow of activities involved in a vehicle passing through the node; and (3) What node support resources are necessary to support a lunar scenario traffic model composed of a mix of vehicles in an active flight schedule. The Lunar Base Systems Study is concentrating on the initial years of the Phase 2 Lunar Base Scenario. The study will develop the first five years of that phase in order to define the transportation and surface systems (including mass, volumes, power requirements, and designs)

    The Role of Social Networks Websites in Improvement of Customer Relationship and Brand Loyalty

    Brand has been considered as one of the most important intangible assets of organizations. Development of relationship between customer and brand has transformed to one of the most important strategies of the organizations which raise effective results for them. This research intends to examine role and effect of social websites on development of customer relationship and brand in firms listed in computer equipment and laptop sale across Tehran. There are 11 hypotheses in the present research which the required data were collected from sample size (127) using questionnaire. This research has been conducted using structural equations and analyzed using partial least squares regression. Findings of research indicate positive effect of websites on increasing trust and loyalty to brand by customer. Hence, creation of communities for brand is given the priority in marketing activities. Creation and development of close, strong and stable relationship with customer will be among the priorities of these programs that can assist for improvement and loyalty of brand quality

    Mediating role of quality of customer relationship concerning trust on brand satisfaction and loyalty (case study: Communities of the brand created for computer products in social networks)

    The present research intends to examine and evaluate dimensions of the outlook based on trust on quality of customers’ relationships and loyalty to brand. Quality of customer relationship together in brand communities created in social networks is of great importance in development of future brand activities, under which this variable has been considered as a mediator of this relationship. In this research, sample group consists of 75 customers of firms listed in computer equipment and laptop sale across Tehran. Partial least squares regression was used to evaluate and analyze data. Results and outputs of software indicate that trust will be the most important component in creation of the optimal conditions in competitive development of organizations. Trust affects quality of relationship, creation of trust on brand communities, customers’ satisfaction and loyalty which are the ultimate aim of marketing programs.  As a result, professional and ethical behaviors by companies and trusted applications stimulate and encourage the customers to acquire sense of belonging and attachment to brand. The outcome by these processes will lie on acquisition of customers loyal to brand

    Update on the use of deferasirox in the management of iron overload

    Regular blood transfusions as supportive care for patients with chronic anemia inevitably lead to iron overload as humans cannot actively remove excess iron. The cumulative effects of iron overload cause significant morbidity and mortality if not effectively treated with chelation therapy. Based on a comprehensive clinical development program, the once-daily, oral iron chelator deferasirox (Exjade®) is approved for the treatment of transfusional iron overload in adult and pediatric patients with various transfusion-dependent anemias, including β-thalassemia and the myelodysplastic syndromes. Deferasirox dose should be titrated for each individual patient based on transfusional iron intake, current iron burden and whether the goal is to decrease or maintain body iron levels. Doses of >30 mg/kg/day have been shown to be effective with a safety profile consistent with that observed at doses <30 mg/kg/day. Recent data have highlighted the ability of deferasirox to decrease cardiac iron levels and to prevent the accumulation of iron in the heart. The long-term efficacy and safety of deferasirox for up to 5 years of treatment have now been established. The availability of this effective and generally well tolerated oral therapy represents a significant advance in the management of transfusional iron overload

    Performance of Combination of PreOzonation and Membrane Biological Reactor on Greywater Characteristics

    an ozone-biological aerated filter process was operated for ten months to evaluate its feasibility in polishing Greywateras primary treatment. The reduction efficiency of BOD5, COD, and TSS were 44%,27%, and 41.1% respectively. The average ranged effluent of PH, NH3-N,T-N, Total Phosphorous were (6.5-8.5), (19-61)mg/l, (9.1-34.7)mg/l, and (2.8-18.2)mg/l respectively. Main operational parameters were: Ozone rate 2 gm/hr for 6 hr from April to July and 8 hr from October to march.All results showed excellent performance of the ozone-biological aerated filter process. Experiences proved that the operation parameters such as dosage of ozone should be changed with the influent quality to acquire the best quality of the effluent

    Detecting network attacks model based on a convolutional neural network

    Due to the increasing use of networks at present, Internet systems have raised many security problems, and statistics indicate that the rate of attacks or intrusions has increased excessively annually, and in the event of any malicious attack on network vulnerabilities or information systems, it may lead to serious disasters, violating policies on network security, i.e., “confidentiality, integrity, and availability” (CIA). Therefore, many detection systems, such as the intrusion detection system, appeared. In this paper, we built a system that detects network attacks using the latest machine learning algorithms and a convolutional neural network based on a dataset of the CSE-CIC-IDS2018. It is a recent dataset that contains a set of common and recent attacks. The detection rate is 99.7%, distinguishing between aggressive attacks and natural assertiveness
