Impact Measurement of Programs Provided By Charity Civil Society Organizations for Community Development in Bahrain
The objective of this research is to elaborate an analytical analysis of the contribution of charity civil society organizations working in the Kingdom of Bahrain for community development purposes. A thorough literature survey of the field of public policy analysis and program evaluation reveals that many evaluation models exist for this purpose. The framework of programs evaluation proposed by the authors Marceau et al. (1992) and Marceau (2012) is a useful tool to reach the general objective of this research project. The methodology of this research is a case study of the Social Charity Organization of Sadad. A questionnaire was elaborated for this purpose that investigates the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the program. The results of this research project provide a good understanding of the effectiveness and efficiency of charity civil society organizations working in the Kingdom of Bahrain regarding the principle of community development and citizen-life improvement proposed by the National Economic Vision of Bahrain 2030.

ูุนุงุช.This study was conducted in the technical college of Mussaib / department of Animal Production Techniques to investigate the effect of season on some follicular fluid biochemical parameters in the ovaries of the-. Fifty ovaries were collected from Karbala and Najaf butcheries for two seasons: the first season (August 2021) and the second season (January 2022). Moreover, collected follicles were divided according to their sizes into three groups (first group < 3 mm), (second group 3-5 mm), and (third group > 5mm) The results showed a significant increase (P โค 0.01) for protein, glucose, cholesterol, and sodium, and a significant increase (P โค 0.05) for calcium in the first season compared to the second season, and the significant increase was (P โค 0.05) for potassium in the second season compared to the first season. As for the follicles sizes the result exhibited, there were highly significant differences in the size of the follicles for the first group (< 3 mm) Pโค0.01, as it reached in the first season 8 (32.00%) and in the second season 13 (52.00%) and also found highly significant differences in the size of the follicles for the second group (3-5 mm) 11 (44.00%) in the first season and 6 (24.00%) in the second season (Pโค0.01). for the follicles of the third group (> 5mm), there were no significant differences, as it reached 6 (24.00%) in the first season and 6 (24.00%) in the second season. The groups also differed significantly within the same season. The highly significant increase for the second group was (Pโค0.01) compared to the rest of the groups within the first season, while in the second season, the high significant increase was for the first group (Pโค0.01) compared to the rest of the group

A modified cohesive zone model for fatigue delamination in adhesive joints:Numerical and experimental investigations
A modified cohesive zone model (CZM) has been developed to simulate damage initiation and evolution in Fibre-Metal Laminates (FMLs) manufactured in-house but based on the Glareยฎ material specifications. Specimens containing both splice and doubler features were analysed under high cycle fatigue loading. The model uses a novel trapezoidal traction-separation law to describe the elastic-plastic behaviour of this material under monotonic and high-cycle fatigue loading. The model is implemented in the software Abaqus/Explicit via an user-defined cohesive material subroutine. Several models of increasing complexity were investigated to validate the proposed approach. A two-stage experimental testing programme was then conducted to validate the numerical analyses. Firstly, quasi-static tests were used to determine the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of a series of specimens with and without internal features. Secondly, high-cycle fatigue tests were conducted on both laminate types with variable load amplitude so that S-N curves could be built. Tests were monitored using digital image correlation (DIC) for full-field strain mapping and acoustic emission (AE) sensing to detect the initiation and propagation of damage during quasi-static and fatigue tests. Good correlation was observed between predicted onset and growth of delaminations and the history of cumulative AE energy during the tests, which supports the validity of the cohesive modelling approach for FMLs
Evaluation of the Level and Polymorphism of the Osteocalcin Gene in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis
The hormone is known as the bone protein ฮณ-carboxyglutamic acid. The hormone belongs to the family of proteins that depend on vitamin K, as this vitamin is a catalyst in the formation of (ฮณ-carboxylation) that determines its attraction to the bone matrix and calcium, and this contributes to the formation of bones. Moreover, the non-carboxylated form of the hormone that exerts hormonal properties and is also involved in glucose and energy metabolism, stimulates osteoblasts to secrete insulin directly and indirectly from the pancreas through the synthesis of glucagon-like-peptide 1 GLP-1 From the small intestine this enhances insulin sensitivity in fat cells and muscle cells. This property may have an effect on bone mineralization and may lead to a change in bone quality and an increased risk of fractures.
The aim of the study is to evaluate the level of osteocalcin in patients with rheumatoid arthritis in comparison with the healthy ones and its relationship with the enzymes (GSH, CP, SOD), and to detect the gene encoding the hormone osteocalcin in the disease and to find the relationship between the hormone osteocalcin and vital variables.
Blood samples were collected from (30) healthy people (15) males and (15) females, their ages ranged from (25-60) years and (30) patients from (19) males and (11) females in a hospital Salah Al-Din General and Al-Sharqat General Hospital, and the analyzes were measured in the central laboratory of the hospital, which were examined by the specialist doctor.
This study showed that the levels of OC in the blood serum of people with rheumatoid arthritis is statistically higher compared to the healthy ones, and a significant decrease in the level of GSH for patients compared with the healthy ones, and a significant increase in the level of CP and the level of SOD for patients compared with the healthy ones, and there is a positive correlation between the level of OC and the level of CP And a negative relationship between OC level, GSH level and SOD level. It was revealed that there were significant differences at the level of probability (P<0.01) of repeating the allele for the OC gene between the group of patients and the healthy ones, where the value of the repeating of the mutated C allele increased and the level of the normal T allele decreased within the group of patients compared to the healthy ones
Multiple epitopes of the human ovarian cancer antigen 14C1 recognised by human IgG antibodies: their potential in immunotherapy.
We have defined a novel ovarian cancer-associated membrane antigen, 14C1, using human monoclonal antibodies derived by EBV-transformation of in situ sensitised patients' B-cells. The pattern of recognition of this antigen by these antibodies suggests that at least three epitopes are discernable. These antibodies can be used to promote the in vitro killing of ovarian cancer cells by activated macrophages and cytokines, implying a role for this antigen in the immunotherapy of ovarian malignancies. Evidence is presented that the 14C1 antigen may have some transmembrane signalling function
