Actividades sobre Inteligencias Múltiples enfocadas al alumnado y aplicación práctica en el aula de Inglés en Educación Primaria

Este trabajo es un estudio basado en una propuesta didáctica. Lleva a cabo una experiencia en un aula de inglés de 2º de educación primaria con la finalidad de mostrar y abordar la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples desde una perspectiva diferente. Nuestra finalidad en este estudio no es mostrar esta teoría como un recurso para el profesorado sino que se pretende mostrársela al alumnado como un medio para que se conozcan mejor a sí mismos y comprendan que existen diferentes maneras de aprender. No obstante, también existen objetivos en este proyecto relacionados con los resultados de las actividades que se realizan durante las sesiones llevadas a la práctica. Estos objetivos entran en el orden de secundarios ya que el número de sesiones es muy reducido y su evaluación necesita un trabajo más exhaustivo para ser precisa.Grado en Educación Primari

El poder desde abajo: los comités de enlace y la unidad sindical durante la Guerra Civil española (1936-1939)

This paper is aimed at studying the different joint committees between the UGT (General Union of Workers) and the CNT (National Confederation of Labour) organized during the Spanish Civil War in Republican territory, especially after 1939, the less-studied period so far. By the beginning of 1938, UGT and CNT encouraged syndical unions through the establishment of intelligence bases which, one month later (on the 18th of March), configured the formation of the UGT-CNT National Joint Committee. This implied a reinforcement of popular power in a moment of maximum difficulty for the government of the Socialist leader Juan Negrín. The President expected to lift the morale of the population both in the front and in the rearguard with an action from below in order to be able to continue his policy of staunch resistance against the Republican parties and wide sectors of his own party and labour union who considered that, given the negative evolution of the war, it was time to propose surrender. The committee tried to spread throughout all the territories and productive sectors, but in many cases these committees finished in the hands of Izquierda Socialista (Socialist Left) or cabal eristas, the most important critical sector within the PSOE, led by the labour unionist of the UGT and ex-President Francisco Largo Caballero. This forced Negrin to distance from this 'power from bellow'. The communists, his main allies, had no interest in creating a working- class power where the PCE was not represented at all. The FAI did not make things easier to their anarchist colleagues in the CNT.Este artículo tiene como objetivo el estudio de los distintos comités de enlace entre la Unión General de Trabajadores (UGT) y la Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT) que se organizaron durante la Guerra Civil Española en el territorio republicano, especialmente a partir de 1938, el período hasta ahora menos estudiado. Los sindicatos UGT y CNT impulsaron la unidad sindical a principios de 1938 con el establecimiento de unas "Bases de inteligencia" que un mes después, concretamente el 18 de marzo, fueron las que configuraron la formación del Comité Nacional de Enlace UGT-CNT. Supusieron un relanzamiento del poder popular en un momento de máximas dificultades para el gobierno del líder socialista Juan Ne- grín. El presidente pretendía una acción desde abajo para intentar relanzar la moral tanto en el frente como en la retaguardia, necesaria para seguir su política de resistencia a ultranza frente a los partidos republicanos y amplios sectores de su partido y sindicato que pensaban que por la negativa evolución de la guerra había llegado el momento de plantearse la rendición. El comité intentó extenderse por todos los territorios y sectores productivos, pero en muchos casos estos comités acabaron en manos de Izquierda Socialista o los caballeristas, el sector crítico del PSOE más importante, encabezado por el líder sindical de la UGT y ex presidente Francisco Largo Caballero. Ello motivó que Negrín fuera desmarcándose de este "poder desde abajo". Los comunistas, sus más fieles aliados, tampoco tenían ningún interés por un poder obrero donde el PCE no tenía ningún tipo de representación. La FAI tampoco facilitó las cosas a sus compañeros anarquistas de la CNT

Weaning from mechanical ventilation

Practice guidelines on weaning should be based on the results of several well-designed randomized studies performed over the last decade. One of those studies demonstrated that immediate extubation after successful trials of spontaneous breathing expedites weaning and reduces the duration of mechanical ventilation as compared with a more gradual discontinuation of ventilatory support. Two other studies showed that the ability to breathe spontaneously can be adequately tested by performing a trial with either T-tube or pressure support of 7 cmH(2)O lasting either 30 or 120 min. In patients with unsuccessful weaning trials, a gradual withdrawal for mechanical ventilation can be attempted while factors responsible for the ventilatory dependence are corrected. Carbon and nitrogen accumulation in forest floor and surface soil under different geographic origins of Maritime pine (Pinus pinaster Aiton.) plantations

Aim of study : To determine if plantations consisting of different geographic origins of the Maritime pine (Pinus pinaster Aiton.) could have altered C and N stocks in the forest floor and surface soils.Area of study : Forest floor and mineral soil C and N stocks were measured in four adjacent plantations of different geographic origins of Maritime pine (Gironde, Toulon, Corsica and Spain) and adjacent primary native Sessile oak (Quercus petraea L.) at Burunsuz region in Belgrad Forest where is located in the Istanbul province in the Marmara geographical region between 41°09' -41°12' N latitude and 28°54' - 29°00' E longitude in Turkey.Material and Methods : Plots were compared as common garden experiments without replications. 15 surface soil (0-10 cm) and 15 forest floor samples were taken from each Maritime pine origins and adjacent native Sessile oak forest. C and N contents were determined on LECO Truspec 2000 CN analyzer. The statistical significance of the results was evaluated by one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).Research highlights : Forest floor carbon mass, nitrogen concentration and nitrogen mass of forest floor showed a significant difference among origins. Soil carbon mass and nitrogen mass did not significantly differ among investigated plots.Keywords: carbon sequestration; C/N ratio; decomposition; exotic; tree provenance.</p
