    Simulasi dinamika molekul bentuk apo protein macrophage infectivity potentiator dari Legionella pneumophila

    Penyakit legioner adalah penyakit menular yang menyebabkan pneumonia. Protein macrophage infectivity potentiator (Mip) adalah polipeptida 24 kDa dan diketahui berperan dalam patogenisitas Legionella. Dalam penelitian ini, simulasi dinamika molekuler dilakukan pada bentuk apo protein Mip Legionella pneumophila untuk mendapatkan gambaran sifat struktural dan konformasinya. Konformasi awal diambil dari Protein Data Base (PDB) 2VCD dan ligan rapamycin dihilangkan. Simulasi dinamika molekuler 200 ns menunjukkan nilai RMSD rata-rata untuk semua atom protein dan untuk atom tulang belakang masing-masing pada 0,28 dan 0,20 nm. Residu yang paling fleksibel berdasarkan perhitungan rata-rata RMSF dan dilihat dari perubahan dPCA adalah P117. Hasil analisis dPCA menunjukkan perubahan konformasi protein Mip

    The formulation of the problem and the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction, human relation and organizational climate on employee performance at CV. Continue Mengwi, Badung. The sample used was 74 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that: (1) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (2) human relation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (3) organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (4) job satisfaction, human relation and organizational climate have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Suggestions that can be given are CV. Mengwi continues, Badung is expected to always set specific employee performance targets, provide promotions to competent employees, provide opportunities for each employee to provide constructive input and improve communication and cooperation between employees and superiors

    Characterization of Traditional Market Solid Waste (TMSW) and Its Recycling Potential (Case Study : Traditional Markets in Bandar Lampung)

    Solid waste has always been a problem for developing countries. In Bandar Lampung, the traditional market is the second largest contributor of solid waste, after households. Data for Traditional Market Solid Waste (TMSW) composition and generation rate in Bandar Lampung is rarely found, even though, data is needed to write the policy for TMSW management and its recycling potential. This research aims to provide data on TMSW composition, generation rate and chararacteristic in Bandar Lampung, also its recycling potential. The sample from 10 of 31 traditional markets in Bandar Lampung is collected for 8 consecutive days in morning and afternoon. Then, the sample was processed to obtain its composition, generation and density. 48.06% of TMSW compositions is donated by vegetable. Meanwhile, metal is rarely found in traditional markets, with only 0.37%. The average density of TMSW is 180.11 kg/m3, while Kangkung Market has the highest density with 237.84 kg/m3 and Cimeng Market has the lowest TMSW density with 123.07 kg/m3. The generation rate of TMSW is 53,602.35 kg/day. Biodegradable wastes from traditional markets in Bandar Lampung, with 53% water contents, can be potentially recycled by composting and/or anaerobic digester because of its economic value and characteristic

    Soil as the affiliation of biotic and an abiotic components that support the living of soil microbe. Plants can grow well when it was supported by the available of soil microbes, one of them was arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). AMF is a symbiotic mutualism between fungi and plant roots. AMF found almost 80% of plants kingdom, one of them is jabon (Anthocephalus cadamba). The research purposed to identify the diversity of AMF under the jabon plantation (Durenan dry soil, Sudimoroharjo dry soil and Sudimoroharjo wet soil ex rice field). The soil samples was obtained from three different jabon plantation location. The result of this research showed that there were three genus of AMF e.g. Glomus, Acalauspora and Entrophospora, found in jabon plantation planted in Durenan dry soil and Sudimoroharjo wet soil meanwhile jabon planted in Sudimoroharjo wet soil could only be found 2 genus, such as Glomus and Acalauspora.Key word: arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, diversity, genus, jabo
