Prarancangan Pabrik Asam Oksalat Dihydrate dari Molasses dan Asam Nitrat Kapasitas 60.000 ton/tahun

Perancangan pabrik Asam Oksalat dengan luas area sebesar 22.000 m2 direncanakan dibangun pada tahun 2011 dan berlokasi di Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Pabrik ini beroprasi dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton /tahun, dengan pertimbangan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri dan mengurangi ketergantungan import. Bahan baku yang dipakai adalah molases dan asam nitrat dengan bantuan katalis H2SO4. Reaksi ini berlangsung pada fase cair-cair, irreversible, eksotermis, dan bersifat isotermal pada reaktor CSTR (Continuous Stirred Tank Reaktor ) dengan kondisi operasi pada tekanan 1 atm dan suhu 710C. Untuk menunjang proses produksi, maka didirikan unit pendukung yaitu unit penyediaan air sebesar 45.000 kg/jam, listrik yang diperlukan sebesar 391,529 KW. Udara tekan yang dibutuhkan sebesar 36,288 m3/jam serta kebutuhan bahan bakar sebesar 7.511,0064 liter/hari dan laboratorium. Pabrik asam oksalat ini berbentuk perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line dan staff. Dengan jumlah karyawan 124 orang dimana sistem kerja karyawan bedasarkan pembagian menurut jam kerja yang terdiri dari karyawan shift dan non-shift. Dari analisa ekonomi yang dilakukan terhadap pabrik ini dengan modal tetap Rp 54.742.639.409,91 dan modal kerja Rp 69.004.153.275,47 diperoleh Return Of Investment (ROI) sebelum pajak 93,97 % dan setelah pajak 46,99 % sedangka Break Even Point (BEP) dan Shut down (SDP) yang dihasilkan masing – masing sebesar 59,82 % dan 48,59 %. Pay Out Time (POT) sebelum pajak adalah 0,96 tahun dan setelah pajak 1,75 tahun. Dan Discount Cash Flow (DCF) terhitung sebesar 20,11 % .Berdasarkan perhitungan ekonomi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik ini layak didirikan

This study aims to determine strategies and policies to accelerate the development of the West Coast District which is one of the underdeveloped areas in Indonesia. The SWOT analysis tool is one of the tools that can be used to develop a strategy through three stages: input, incorporation, decision. The analytical tools used in this study are the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) matrix, the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix, and the Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threats (SWOT) matrix. The research was carried out with the aim of producing a Geometry Smart Book for triangular and quadrilateral material for junior high school students based on constructivism that was valid, effective and practical. This media development process uses a 4D development model. This model was developed by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel. The 4d development model consists of 4 main stages, namely: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The validity of this product can be seen from the results of the validation of material experts and media experts, the effectiveness of the product can be seen from the average test results of students at least reaching good criteria, while the practicality of the product can be seen from the results of limited trials obtained an average percentage of 3.58 with very good criteria. good

Adoption of Soil Conservation Practices in Olive Groves: The Case of Spanish Mountainous Areas

This paper presents some results from a survey carried out in 2004 among 223 olive tree farmers from mountainous areas in the Spanish Southern provinces of Granada and Jaen regarding the adoption of soil conservation and management practices. Olive tree groves in mountainous areas are subject to a high risk of soil erosion and have to incur in higher costs of soil conservation. This results in greater difficulties to comply with cross-compliance and to benefit from agri-environmental schemes. Our main objectives are to analyse the current level of adoption of soil conservation practices and to analyse which socio-economic and institutional factors determine such adoption. Three Probit models are estimated. Hubungan Kemandirian Istri Dengan Keharmonisan Perkawinan Pada Tahap Awal Perkawinan Di Kelurahan Pagentan Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang

This research is to find out if anything to do with the harmonious marriage of the wife of independence in the early stages of marriage. The population used in this study were those who married at an early stage at the village Pagentan Singosari Malang. Sampling was purposive technique. Methods of data collection using the likert method to scale marital harmony and independence wife. Validity of the results on a scale of marital harmony with significance level 0.05 moving from 0.310 to 0.594 with a valid aitem number by 52, while the results of the validity of the scale independence wife with a significance level of 0.05 moves from 0.304 to 0.551 with aitem valid number by 52. Calculation of variable reliability marital harmony obtained value α = 0.908 and Reliability wife independence obtained value α = 0.902. Where two numbers are according to the rules stated reliability is very reliable. The results of data analysis showed no association with the harmonious marriage of the wife of independence in the early stages of marriage with f table f count = 0.525 = 0.176, which f count (0.525) > ftable (0.176). The hypothesis states there is a relationship between self and wife with marital harmony in the early stages of marriage (ha) was accepted with a correlation coefficient of 0.525

Flood Early Warning System with Informational Technology for Reducing Risk of Loss in Sustainability of City

Palembang is divided by Musi-river consisting of two parts of city called Hulu and Hilir. it has a height of Musi tide surface about 0.7 m to 2.2 m and average high rainfall 101.48 mm/hrs in a year so that it always happen flood every year. In tackling flood, Palembang goverment has did rehabilition of canals, river dredging, creation of retention ponds, demolition of illegal building on the banks of river and the extension services provided to the public about the cleanliness of the river. In addition in this study, it has been also applied infomational technology to tackle the flood in Palembang as early warning system. The flood early warning system that was built for measuring rainfall and water level, predicting flood condition using fuzzy logic and conveying data containing rainfall, water level and flood condition via short message service to people. In test, it was succesfull measuring water level up to 5 metres and rainfall  up to 380 ml/minutes and more, forecasting the flood conditions namely standby 2, standby 1 and flood. Hence, it was also successfull sending short message service containing rainfall, water level and flood conditions automatically. In addition, the increase of rainfall caused the increase of water level and change of flood condition. Meanwhile, it was based on study that the flood early warning system was the key element of disaster risk reduction. From the results, it can be concluded that flood early warning system resulted on flood for 5.0 m, 320.31-418.33 ml/minutes, S1 for 4.0-5.0 m, 243.33-647.5 ml/minutes, S2 for less than 3.6 m, 414.17 ml/minutes. It succeeded in sending data of rainfall, water level and flood as much as 15 times to community's cellulerphone automatically so that it is reducing risk of loss againts flood and maintaining sustainability of city

The group of Melati songket weavers has financial problems, especially capital. Craftsmen have been receiving material from investors so that craftsmen do not know what the raw material price is, the cost of goods manufactured and the cost of goods sold. Therefore craftsmen cannot determine the selling price of the finished product. Fabrics that have been finished weaving will be sold or returned to the buyer or investor at a price determined by the buyer or investor. Craftsmen are only as wage-takers so they cannot increase income and welfare. The solutions and output targets that will be achieved are offered by the team that will help provide raw materials in the form of threads, calculate raw material prices, calculate the cost of production and the selling price of each songket motif or product.
