Determination of the home advantage in handball Olympic Games and European Championships

Home advantage (HA) has typically been focused in competitions in which the same number of home games and away games are played, but it should be noted that there are other competitions that take place at the home of only one organizer. In this study, 2,758 games of handball were analyzed. The variables registered were the number of games won, the number of games drawn, the number of games lost, the number of goals scored, the number of goals against and the gender of the competitors. The significance of the level of advantage in playing at home was calculated for the variable of points obtained, assuming the null hypothesis that playing at home has no advantage. The Wilcoxon signed rank was used to contrast home advantage signification. The advantage of playing at home and the advantage of playing away in male and female competitions were compared using the Mann–Whitney test. The significance of the difference between the goals (both scored by and scored against) when a team played at home or played away from home was determined using t tests. Pearson and Spearman bivariate correlations were used to establish the level of association between the classification of a team and the number of points obtained as a result of the advantage of playing at home. No significant advantage to playing at home in the Olympic Games or European Championships was found for either gender. However, a direct association exists between playing at home and the points obtained in a competition. There is also a significant inverse association between playing at home and the final classification of a team

La oferta turística andaluza y sus productos emergentes: el ecoturismo, portafolio y posibilidades

Entre los múltiples recursos de factible utilización turística con que cuenta Andalucía se encuentra el enoturismo, que, como oferta cultural, atrae a segmentos de población de poder adquisitivo medio y alto que son mercado objetivo, a su vez, de otros recursos de similar gama y de fácil interconexión (gastronomía, arquitectura, naturaleza, etc.) La comunicación que proponemos diagnostica la situación del enoturismo en Andalucía y plantea un catálogo de recursos del mismo identificando zonas, tipos y denominaciones que puedan servir de base para el desarrollo de rutas en las que se incorporen otros recursos y posibilidades.Among the resources that Andalucía can put in value for tourist use, we can stand up the wine tourism. It is a cultural product that attracts different segments of population with medium and high buying power. This target market is at the same time a market segment of other products which are in the same range and interconnected to the wine tourism, like gastronomy, architecture and nature. This paper wants to diagnose the situation for the wine tourism in Andalucía. In this sense it gives a portfolio of resources trying to identify zones, types and qualified denominations that would be capable to develop routes that can joint other resources and possibilities

Validation of the questionnaire "focus of attention for handball trainers in video analysis"

El uso del método Delphi es indicado para la elaboración de cuestionarios sobre un tema objeto de estudio en el que no hay mucho conocimiento anterior. Partiendo de una idea inicial, un grupo de 10 expertos en balonmano realizaron una serie de propuestas de modificación hasta llegar a un cuestionario final consensuado de 34 ítems, con preguntas relacionadas con las cuatro fases del juego existente en balonmano. Dicho estudio se pasó a una muestra de 134 entrenadores de cuatro países, verificando la validación del cuestionario. Los entrenadores de balonmano dan mayor importancia en los análisis con vídeo a las fases del juego de ataque y defensa organizada.The use of the Delphi method is indicated for the elaboration of questionnaires on a subject of study, which until now has little known information about it. Starting on an initial proposal, a group of 10 experts in handball made a series of modification proposals until a final questionnaire was agreed of 34 items, with questions related with the four phases of the game that exist in handball. The questionnaire was given to 134 trainers from four different countries, verifying the validation of the questionnaire. Influencia del año de nacimientode una jugadora en las posibilidades de ser captada como talento en el balonmano femenino internacional

Los Campeonatos del Mundo de balonmano los organiza la International Handball Federation (IHF). En las categorías júnior y juvenil establece los grupos de participantes basándose en la adscripción de los deportistas nacidos en dos años seguidos a una misma categoría, iniciando el corte en los nacidos en año par y debiendo permanecer durante dos años en la misma categoría. La muestra la componen 1.049 jugadoras de balonmano que disputaron el Campeonato del Mundo de su categoría, disputado en el 2009 en categoría sénior y en el 2010 en categoría júnior y juvenil. Las variables registradas fueron el año de nacimiento, el género y el nivel de la competición. El estudio tomó como referencia si el deportista nació en año par o impar. Las diferencias entre la proporción de deportistas nacidos en año par o en año impar se calculó mediante la prueba binomial contrastando la proporción del 50 %. No se encontraron diferencias significativas en las categorías sénior. En la categoría júnior y juvenil se encontraron más jugadoras nacidas en año par que en año impar, con diferencias muy significativas

Retablo mayor de la iglesia del Hospital de la Caridad. Investigación e intervención

A partir de las investigaciones y estudios preliminares recogidos en el proyecto inicial que se realizó en el Instituto Andaluz del Patrimonio Histórico, la restauración del retablo mayor de la iglesia del Hospital de la Santa Caridad de Sevilla corrió a cargo de la Dirección General de Bienes Culturales de la Junta de Andalucía, bajo la tutela del Proyecto de estudio, investigación y propuesta de intervención del retablo mayor de la iglesia de San Jorge del Hospital de la Caridad. La fase de intervención, iniciada en enero de 2006, ha supuesto para este retablo la oportunidad de profundizar en el estudio de su materialidad, mediante los análisis científicos de caracterización de materiales y la actualización de los datos histórico-artísticos y de historia material. Por otra parte, los tratamientos aplicados garantizarán la adecuada conservación de su arquitectura y esculturas en el futuro, contribuyendo de forma significativa a la recuperación de los valores históricos y artísticos de este magnífico retablo

El objetivo de esta investigación fue el de resumir, analizar y discutir los temas de holocracia y teletrabajo en tiempos de pandemia, para así poner a disposición del lector información ya publicada sobre temas específicos a través de revisión bibliográfica. Se analizaron distintas fuentes de información, mediante análisis-síntesis. Como resultado principal se presenta estudio comparativo mediante entrevistas de profundidad a empresarios de la localidad chihuahuense, donde se mencionan aspectos relevantes de gestión de capital humano, competencias y cultura laboral.  Investigación documental y de campo, no probabilística, no estadística. Estudio de tipo cualitativo, con fines de diagnóstico descriptivo, transversal, de tipo exploratorio-descriptivo. Se presentan tablas comparativas de empresas utilizadas en el diagnóstico de los cambios en tiempo de pandemia en la ciudad capital (12 empresas).   The objective of this research was to summarize, analyze and discuss the topics of holocracy and teleworking in times of pandemic, in order to make available to the reader information already published on specific topics through bibliographic review. Perspectiva en Tiempos del COVID 19 de los Elementos Relacionados al Teletrabajo: Análisis Documental y Estudio de Caso en Empresas Locales

El documento presenta los resultados de investigación descriptiva, cuyo objetivo es establecer mediante análisis documental y estudio de caso, la discusión de los elementos principales relacionados al teletrabajo, modelo de trabajo utilizado durante el periodo de pandemia del COVID19. Mediante estudio cualitativo, no probabilístico, no estadístico, de carácter transversal, pondera acciones coincidentes en modelos y métodos de trabajo contemporáneos tales como: horarios y cargas de trabajo, sistemas de entrenamiento y capacitación, uso de dispositivos digitales, formalidad y legalidad, nuevos factores de riesgo psicosocial, todos ellos relacionados al teletrabajo. La recapitulación de temas: análisis situacional empresas mexicanas 2019 a la fecha, modelos y herramientas de gestión administrativa, leyes laborales en México versus tiempos de pandemia, experiencia humana centrada en el bienestar para la transformación digital y empresarial en México, entre otras. También se muestran resultados de empresas de la localidad (MIPyMES micro, pequeña o mediana empresa), en donde se evalúa los efectos del COVID19 en su estructura y modelo de organización, los hallazgos fueron en el rubro de emprendimiento y lanzamiento que nacen como trabajo a distancia, plantillas de trabajo jóvenes generaciones milenios y centenal, enfoque en habilidades blandas y manejo de tics como requisito indispensable, en el rubro de micro y pequeñas empresas comerciales y manufactura estas se vieron en la necesidad de incorporar sistemas para seguir operando, sin modificar sus estructuras organizacionales, uso de aplicaciones digitales para gestión administrativa y revisión de avances y logro de objetivos.   The document presents the results of descriptive research, whose objective is to establish, through documentary analysis and case study, the discussion of the main elements related to teleworking, a work model used during the COVID19 pandemic period. Through a qualitative, non-probabilistic, non-statistical, cross-sectional study, it ponders coincident actions in contemporary work models and methods such as: schedules and workloads, training and training systems, use of digital devices, formality and legality, new factors of psychosocial risk, all of them related to teleworking. The recapitulation of topics: situational analysis of Mexican companies 2019 to date, administrative management models and tools, labor laws in Mexico versus times of pandemic, human experience focused on well-being for digital and business transformation in Mexico, among others. Results from local companies (MIPyMES Micro, small or médium bussiness) are also shown, where the effects of COVID19 on its structure and organizational model are evaluated, the findings were in the field of entrepreneurship and launch that are born as remote work, work templates for young millennial generations and centennial, focus on soft skills and management of tics as an essential requirement, in the field of micro and small commercial and manufacturing companies, they saw the need to incorporate systems to continue operating, without modifying their organizational structures, use of digital applications for management administration and review of progress and achievement of objectives

Effect of ACTN3 R577X Genotype on Injury Epidemiology in Elite Endurance Runners´.

The p.R577X polymorphism (rs1815739) in the ACTN3 gene causes individuals with the ACTN3 XX genotype to be deficient in functional α-actinin-3. Previous investigations have found that XX athletes are more prone to suffer non-contact muscle injuries. This investigation aimed to determine the influence of the ACTN3 R577X polymorphism in the injury epidemiology of elite endurance athletes. Using a cross-sectional experiment, the epidemiology of running-related injuries was recorded for one season in a group of 89 Spanish elite endurance runners. ACTN3 R577X genotype was obtained for each athlete using genomic DNA samples. From the study sample, 42.7% of athletes had the RR genotype, 39.3% had the RX genotype, and 18.0% had the XX genotype. A total of 96 injuries were recorded in 57 athletes. Injury incidence was higher in RR runners (3.2 injuries/1000 h of running) than in RX (2.0 injuries/1000 h) and XX (2.2 injuries/1000 h; p = 0.030) runners. RR runners had a higher proportion of injuries located in the Achilles tendon, RX runners had a higher proportion of injuries located in the knee, and XX runners had a higher proportion of injuries located in the groin (p = 0.025). The ACTN3 genotype did not affect the mode of onset, the severity, or the type of injury. The ACTN3 genotype slightly affected the injury epidemiology of elite endurance athletes with a higher injury rate in RR athletes and differences in injury location. However, elite ACTN3 XX endurance runners were not more prone to muscle-type injuries.post-print248 K

Constituent year effect in international handball at high level

The criterion used by the International Handball Federation for the admission of participants in the Championships at junior levels is based on the ascription of players born during two consecutive years in the same category, moving afterwards this period of two years have finished, all together to next category. The sample is composed of 2,117 handball players. The data collected for the analysis were taken in base to the gender, born date and the level of the competition. Differences among this two has been calculated through the binomial test, comparing equal proportion. There weren’t significant differences found between male and female senior categories, although in all categories more players have been found, with very significant differences, born in even-numbered years than in odd years
