Narrativas de paz en la escuela

Maestría en Educación y Desarrollo Humano, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas.Este documento presenta la investigación: Narrativas de paz en la escuela, la cual tuvo como objetivo reconocer las experiencias pacificas de los niños de grado quinto de la Institución Educativa Villa del Sol a través de sus narrativas como aporte a la consolidación de una cultura de paz en la escuela. El estudio estuvo enmarcado en el modelo de investigación cualitativa con un enfoque hermenéutico narrativo, en el cual participaron un total de treinta estudiantes, 19 niñas y 11 niños, con edades entre los 10 y 11 años quienes ofrecieron sus narrativas a partir de su vinculación a la investigación, la cual se apoyó en técnicas interactivas como el taller, el conversatorio y la galería. En los resultados obtenidos se denota la inclinación natural de los niños hacia el juego, el cual apareció como un elemento fuerte y reiterativo en todos los encuentros realizados, siendo atravesado por otras manifestaciones nombradas por los participantes como pequeñas acciones entre las cuales se destacan: ayudar, compartir, perdonar, acuerdos y la lectura; además de la relación pedagógica vinculante y la mediación del conflicto, presentes en las narraciones y nombradas así por las investigadoras. La participación en la investigación Narrativas de paz en la escuela, se convirtió para los niños en una experiencia pacifica ofreciéndoles la oportunidad de reconocer nuevas formas de visibilizar lo ocurrido en lo cotidiano y potenciar el fortalecimiento de una cultura de paz en la escuela

Genotyping of Trypanosoma cruzi in a hyper-endemic area of Colombia reveals an overlap among domestic and sylvatic cycles of Chagas disease

ABSTARCT: Chagas disease is a neglected illness caused by the Trypanosoma cruzi parasite, which widely affects American communities. This study attempted to identify T. cruzi genotypes circulating in four indigenous communities of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, Colombia, to investigate parasite transmission dynamics in these communities. In addition, some epidemiological variables to determine the risk factors for infection with this parasite, such as the prevalence of T. cruzi infection, the triatomine species, and the domestic and sylvatic mammals that act as vectors and reservoirs of the parasite in the domestic, peridomestic and sylvatic cycles, were examined. METHODS:We developed a prospective study to identify the main risk factors associated with T. cruzi infection in the region. The T. cruzi prevalence was determined by ELISA, IFA and PCR. Triatomines species and both domestic and sylvatic mammals from all communities were captured and sampled. To analyze parasite transmission dynamics in these four communities, eight DNA parasite probes were generated from insect and reservoir samples, and a DNA blot analysis were carried out. RESULTS:Serological studies revealed 37% prevalence in the four communities, and Kasakumake was the most endemic region, containing approximately 70% seropositives. Moreover, the molecular diagnosis showed a high correlation between the serological data and the T. cruzi circulating in the patients' blood. A total of 464 triatomine insects were collected in domestic, peridomestic and sylvatic environments, and these insects belonged to five different species; Rhodnius prolixus and Triatoma dimidiata were the two more important species transmitting the parasite. After studying the eco-epidemiological factors in these four communities, the most important risk factors for infection with the parasite were determined. These risk factors are a high infection rate of people and domestic animals, the construction materials of the houses, the presence of infected triatomines inside the human dwellings, the proximity between houses and a sylvatic environment with several triatomine species and wild animals. Finally, the molecular characterization of T. cruzi showed the presence of three haplotypes and complex T. cruzi mixed infections in all reservoirs. CONCLUSIONS:Active transmission of T. cruzi is present in four indigenous communities of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta with overlap between the domestic and the sylvatic transmission cycles of Chagas disease

The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

The academic community of the department of Risaralda, in its permanent interest in evidencing the results of the research processes that are carried out from the Higher Education Institutions and as a product of the VI meeting of researchers of the department of Risaralda held in November 2021 presents its work: “The journey of research as a challenge towards new trends”, which reflects the result of the latest research and advances in different lines of knowledge in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Information Sciences, which seek to solve and meet the demands of the different sectors. APORTE ÉTICO DE LA FAMILIA Y EL SISTEMA EDUCATIVO A LAS ORGANIZACIONES

El presente artículo busca generar una reflexión acerca de las razones por las cuales cada vez más se pierden los valores éticos y se presenta un incremento de la corrupción en las organizaciones humanas, que permita establecer si las personas han perdido el horizonte y las bases éticas que fundan el desarrollo del ser y el posterior desempeño profesional, al igual que la relevancia de la familia y la educación en la preparación de futuros hombres para enfrentar el mundo laboral que requieren sólidas estructuras personales y de competencias potenciadas con base en la educación ética y moral, cuyo impacto trascenderá a cada ámbito de su vid

Validación del Código Rojo: una propuesta para el tratamiento de la hemorragia obstétrica

OBJETIVO: Evaluar el efecto del entrenamiento en una guía de manejo, con base en escenarios de simulación, sobre la prevención y el tratamiento de la hemorragia obstétrica. MÉTODOS: Se realizó un estudio cuasi experimental de medición antes y después. La intervención consistió en dos jornadas -con diferencia de seis meses- de capacitación en escenarios de simulación en el reconocimiento y el tratamiento de la hemorragia obstétrica y la entrega de recordatorios con la estrategia. Se evaluó el efecto sobre el manejo de las pacientes mediante la revisión de las historias clínicas 24 meses antes y 18 meses después de la intervención. RESULTADOS: En los 445 miembros del personal de salud capacitados, la mediana de la calificación pasó de 55% de respuestas correctas -antes de la capacitación- a 85% después (P < 0,001). Se presentaron 124 (2,1%) casos de hemorragia antes y 86 (1,8%) después de la intervención, con una disminución de la incidencia de 16,5% (riesgo relativo [RR] 0,84; intervalo de confianza de 95% [IC95%]: 0,6-1,1). El empleo de la oxitocina aumentó de 58,3% a 74,1% (RR: 1,3; IC95%: 1,0-1,6) y la vigilancia activa del puerperio inmediato pasó de 5% a 36,5% (RR: 7,4; IC95%: 3,0-18,1). CONCLUSIONES: La intervención realizada incrementó el uso de algunas prácticas beneficiosas para la prevención y detección temprana de la hemorragia, y obtuvo una mejoría no estadísticamente significativa en la incidencia de hemorragia. Es necesario implementar entrenamientos de simulación de una manera periódica, acompañados de otras estrategias ajustadas a la realidad local y a las circunstancias del grupo

La hemorragia obstétrica es la primera causa de muerte materna en el mundo. Lo mismo ocurre en el departamento de Antioquia, Colombia. Por ser una situación urgente y que compromete la vida de las mujeres, se presenta la siguiente guía de manejo para el tratamiento del choque hemorrágico de origen obstétrico, basada en los siguientes principios básicos: el manejo óptimo del tiempo, la reposición adecuada del volumen sanguíneo, el trabajo en equipo y la insistencia en el uso de las diferentes maniobras para la disminución de la hemorragia.Obstetric haemorrhage is the main cause of maternal death around the world. This holds true in the state of Antioquia, Colombia. A management guide for treating obstetric hemorrhagic shock is thus presented due to the seriousness of this situation compromising women’s lives. Este artículo busca relacionar los conceptos de educación y didáctica con el concepto de formación. La pregunta que hoy tenemos que hacernos en el contexto de la universidad es: ¿La universidad actual está formando? Frente a tantas preocupaciones que tiene hoy la universidad el problema es que ya no se reflexiona en el acto pedagógico, sino en cómo mostrar resultados cuantificables y posicionarse como marca, lo que ha hecho que las instituciones ingresan a la lógica mercantil. En este texto se busca vincular la educación con la didáctica y sus relaciones con el saber administrativo y los programas de Administración, advirtiendo que las otras dimensiones, la pedagogía y la enseñanza, no se tendrán en cuenta de manera explícita en el estudio. Se presentan, además, algunas reflexiones de los autores consultados sobre nuevas posibilidades de aprendizaje-enseñanza/educación-didáctica de la Administración, a partir de un enfoque nuevo y más coherente con el objeto de estudio de la misma: las organizaciones.This article wants to relate the concepts of education and didactics with the formation concept. Aportes a la delimitación del páramo mediante la identificación de los límites inferiores del ecosistema a escala 1:25.000 y análisis del sistema social asociado al territorio: Complejo de Páramos Jurisdicciones Santurbán–Berlín Departamentos de Santander y Norte de Santander

El presente documento se elaboró por solicitud del Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (MADS) y la Corporación para la Defensa de la Meseta de Bucaramanga (CDMB), con el objetivo de aportar elementos de juicio en aspectos biofísicos, económicos, jurídicos y sociales que contribuyan a la delimitación a escala 1:25.000 del complejo de páramos Jurisdicciones Santurbán-Berlín (CJSB), por parte de las autoridades pertinentes. En tal sentido es un aporte solicitado por la autoridad ambiental, posterior a la entrega formal de los estudios, y de acuerdo con el mandato legal.
