    Endogenous Time Preference and Strategic Growth

    This paper presents a strategic growth model that analyzes the impact of Endogenous preferences on equilibrium dynamics by employing the tools provided by lattice theory and supermodular games. Supermodular game structure of the model let us provide monotonicity results on the greatest and the least equilibrium without making any assumptions regarding the curvature of the production function. We also sharpen these results by showing the differentiability of the value function and the uniqueness of the best response correspondence almost everywhere. We show that, unlike globally monotone capital sequences obtained under corresponding optimal growth models, a non-monotonic capital sequence can be obtained. We conclude that the rich can help the poor avoid poverty trap whereas even under convex technology, the poor may theoretically push the rich to her lower steady state.Lattice programming, Endogenous time preference

    Masalah yang menjadi kajian dari penelitian ini adalah mengenai kepuasan kerja karyawan. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan. Salah satu faktor tersebut adalah stres yaitu stres kerja. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data angket skala Likert yg dimodifikasi, terhadap 54 orang karyawan pada bagian teknik operasi di Badan Pelaksana Perkumpulan Perlindungan Instalasi Listrik Nasional (PPILN) Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Stres kerja yang dirasakan pada bagian teknik operasi di Badan Pelaksana Perkumpulan Perlindungan Instalasi Listrik Nasional (PPILN) Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat menurut karyawan termasuk pada kategori cukup tinggi dimana indikator gejala perilaku merupakan indikator yang paling tinggi daripada indikator pshikologis. (2) Kepuasan kerja karyawan pada bagian teknik operasi di Badan Pelaksana Perkumpulan Perlindungan Instalasi Listrik Nasional (PPILN) Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat umumnya termasuk pada kategori cukup/sedang dimana indikator moral kerja yang merupakan indikator yang paling tinggi daripada dua indikator lainnya. (3) Stres kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan dimana terdapat hubungan yang berarti (signifikan) antara kedua variabel tersebut. Sedangkan hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh hipotesis alternatif yang menyatakan“Terdapat Pengaruh Stres Kerja (X) Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan (Y) pada bagian teknik operasi di Badan Pelaksana Perkumpulan Perlindungan Instalasi Listrik Nasional (PPILN) Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat”. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan yaitu sebesar 15,21%, sisanya sebesar 84,79% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. ---------- Problem becoming study of this research to hit employee satisfaction. Pursuant to the mentioned, the root of the matter which expressed in this research is there any influence of work stress to employee satisfaction. Research method the used is descriptive method, with technique data collecting of scale enquette five category of Likert, to 54 officer people which have experienced of lifting section surgery techniques at the Executive Agency of the National Association of Electrical Installation Protection (PPILN) Region West Java Province. Technique analyse data the used is test of regresi simple. Pursuant to calculation obtained by result as follows: (1) Perceived work stress on the surgical technique in the Implementing Agency of the National Association of Electrical Installation Protection (PPILN) The province of West Java, according to employees included in the category of high enough where indicators of behavioral symptoms is an indicator that is higher than the indicator most pshikologis. (2) Employee satisfaction on the part of the operation techniques at the Executive Agency of the National Association of Electrical Installation Protection (PPILN) Region West Java Province is generally included in the category enough / medium where morale indicator which is the highest indicator than the two other indicators. (3) Work stress has an influence on employee job satisfaction where there is a significant relationship (significant) between two variables. While the significance of the test results obtained by the alternative hypothesis which states “There are Work Stress Effect (X) on Employee Satisfaction (Y) on the surgical technique in the Implementing Agency of the National Association of Electrical Installation Protection (PPILN) Region West Java Province”. While the magnitude of the effect of work stress on employee job satisfaction that is equal to 15.21%, while the remaining 84.79% influenced by other factors
